The tanks were filthy, with lots having dead fish in them. I purchased a large snail for $8 and as soon as I got it home, acclimated it to my tank, it died. Not even alive a day. Worse, the purchase was not rung in a register- it was cash, so no receipt, and no return. Again don't know what was going on but if they are open , I would never go there again in the condition everything was in.

Someone said they would get back to me. They definitely got back to me. At first the conversation was going well and then all of sudden the corporate manager that deals with the reptiles of country max decided to pretty much say we do not know how to take care of our lizard. Said how it couldn't be the crickets. Well she definitely heard the change in my voice. She rudely began to say how I barely know you so I can't excuse of anything. I said how I don't appreciate you speaking to me that way and I would like more than just a refund of crickets. She said I guess I can work something out. Maybe half off a new lizard but this isn't the time to buy a lizard. I said at this point with how you're treating me I would appreciate just a full refund of everything so I can take my business else ware. At this point she wants nothing to do with conversation anymore and tells me best wishes. at this point I call back corporate and ask for the bigger boss. I walked into the pet wash, there was dog hair everywhere. The dirty laundry hamper is overflowing and both tubs were filthy. Soap bubbles still lingering in them and full of fur. I opened up the towel holder and there were 2 towels remaining. I intended on purchasing shampoo and conditioner for the dog. I returned to the counter to ask the associate if the pet wash room could have a little tidying and disinfecting. He replied, " well that's going to take about an hour! If you want it properly cleaned!" I responded and said yes, indeed. That is why the pet wash is tended to in between each pet wash. It is not something that waits til the end of the night. I politely set my shampoo and conditioner for the dog down and walked out! Disgusted.
