They sell gifts, food for other animals and they have a section in the back for kibble. I do wish they had a little more selection for dog kibble (my pups are currently eating Stella & Chewy), but I was happy to see brands like Fromm and Blue Buffalo. Customer service was very approachable and friendly. Will definitely be a return customer!

When boarding your pet there are some basic essentials. Your pet needs to be safe, well fed, kept…read morewarm in winter, cool in summer, and given loving attention. Ranchanna Kennels does all of these at the five-star level and more! Kyle and Polly are the most caring people and they treat all the animals as their own. Our dog has had more than 20 stay-overs at Ranchanna and she loves it there. On arrival, she races to "her" kennel. We love it and suspect you will too.

Exceptionally Compassionate Care…read more Facility -Very large enclosures for your pet while you're away, they won't want for breathing room or space to stretch. Even if your pet has a large personal bed, it will fit so that they have that comfort of home with them during their stay. -Personal and pet-specific area in which to do their business at their own pace, accessible directly from their space via staff-controlled doggy doors which can be locked in both the open and closed positions. -The Hannas are more than well equipped to provide your pet with bedding and comfortable furnishings as well Staff -Each individual I've met at Ranchanna was, without a doubt, a kind, empathetic, and caring type of person with an abiding love for animals. These folks truly love caring for your pets in your absence and do so with a firm commitment to your animal's physical and emotional well-being. The Proof -My dog is a rescue with abandonment, trust, and general neglect issues, so I was reluctant to board her for some time. When I've had to travel without her in the past, she has always displayed higher separation anxiety upon my return, even when leaving her at home in the care of my housemate. When I picked her up from Ranchanna, she was delighted and energetic to see me (as one would expect) yet after the initial rush of affection, she made sure to say goodbye to the owner and once home displayed none of the nervous, attention seeking behaviors which I had come to expect after travel. Summary- Ranchanna kennels is more than a kennel, it's a home away from home for your animal companion that you can trust. I'll never use another boarding service in Rochester again, and I highly recommend that you follow suit.

THEY KILLED OUR BIRD!…read more They also spread fake news pointing fingers trying to take spotlight off their birds with diseases which is proven by several VETS! Sal is the biggest POS Anyone that gets a bird from here get them tested for bornavirus, both birds we have from them are positive from bad breeding! Sal the owner is a pos all he cares about is making money and doesn't care about the health of the animals as he let ours die while in their care because he wouldn't get actual vet attention because it would eat into his profits for the baby bird, I will always tell the truth from what I've seen and experienced with this Sal POs, no matter what and always speak ill of this place to everyone and anyone, thankfully I've pointed many people in the right direction staying away from here thankfully We have multiple vets and rescues that blame this store alone for the issues with shelters being at capacity from people not understanding what's involved with having a bird, so they give them up or let them go, this store doesn't educate and will sell animals to anyone long as they pay, $$$ money is all they care about and not placing animals in homes that will actually be able to care for them, We talked to several past employees who told us they left because Sal was horrible and would hide things from people if their bird died they would just swap bands and not tell the owners, their breeding location which is not at the store is horrible conditions, multiple people have field complaints to the aspca, but Sal always sets up a time which gives him the ability to hide what he doesn't want seen instead of having pop up visits, We witnessed 1st hand during Covid how they treated the animals and the workers always cowered in the upstairs office meanwhile "volunteers" that brought their children would run and cry and freak out which is completely un professional, Our vet has told us themselves that they see many birds from this guy and they always have medical issues due to the breeding and the initial raising them, we have rescues that despise this place,
