came to upstate new york for vacation and really wanted to see some animals but my morals don't…read morereally align with zoos and we came across wild wings on google and loved the idea of rehabilitation for permanently injured animals. we saw an array of birds and a bobcat as well as a red fox. the staff was continually bringing out birds to give information on the birds and just give general education about the animals. we also saw some cute amphibians like a bearded dragon, a turtle, a rabbit, some other small animals. and there is no entry fee they are donation only which is nice but i hope people feel inclined to donate to keep this place going!

A Magical Birthday Experience at the Nature Center!…read more We recently celebrated a birthday at this nature center, and it was absolutely wonderful--far beyond what we expected! The indoor nature exhibits were a huge hit. They were interactive and filled with fascinating things to see and touch--specimens and lifecycle interactive displays. It was hands-on, educational, and exciting for both kids and adults. The animals were a favorite part of our visit. There were so many more than we expected, and we especially loved the friendly bird that said "hello"! Outside, the nature trail was beautiful, peaceful, and filled with hand-painted murals that gave it a magical feel. We added our own fun by hiding tiny money gnomes along the fairy trail as part of the birthday party, and it turned out to be a big hit! You can also hand feed the chickadees along Birdsong trail. The volunteer staff was amazing--so helpful, patient, and welcoming. They really helped make the day feel special and run smoothly. Our package included a very educational 1:1 with several birds that we got to take photos with, pizza, drinks, access to facility, nature center, private room and staff to assist. All in all, it was a fantastic experience--fun, educational. We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

My puppy went in for an appointment today with Bella ( a new groomer) when I arrived it seemed that the cut was perfect but as I got in my car I noticed that he had a deep cup that was red and bleeding on his leg and he also has redness at his testical area that had spot bleeding and redness also had redness under his arm that look like a scratch as well. I called back Pet Supplies Plus every time I notice something so I had to make at least three calls in between noticing. I was told that I would be accommodated to the point that I was told that if he needed to go to the vet, they would pay for it or I could talk to a manager along with a couple Recommend recommendations that were recommended by someone else that worked there. This was all fine however, it's more of accountability. There is just no way that Bella did not notice after she cut my dog that he was bleeding. This should have been told to me when I picked him up, not for me to get in my car and find out that he had been cut. I understand That the new staff was new and I tried to have enough patience, but each time I saw an issue it was making me more upset. however, there's also an accountability that needs to be put in place. If you make a mistake you need to tell the owner and maybe I would have been more accepting of it. Also, I got a full groom and his nails weren't even cut and some of his hair under him, was not even with The other parts of his hair( so other in other words , he still had long pieces of hair when it should have been cut short near his belly) again, this is more of a accountability post, regardless of their recommendations and accommodations that were given things like this need to be told to the owner. I also understand that my puppy is one to move around, but this is his second time getting cut by a groomer in the first Time he was not cut short, but the third time he was the same as exact length that we went to Pet Supplies Plus for and we had no problem with any scratches or any injuries even with him being busy if he was moving around.

( Government name: Ellie) As soon as we entered we noticed the overwhelming smell. Not just a pet store funk that's normal. The whole store smelled like pee. Yikes. Maybe it was a rough wash day. Our normal warm greeting was also missed. Everyone seemed to be in a bit of a mood, except the folks with the kitten. Who can be mad with a kitten. When we got home we looked for when the changeover happened. Saw there was a new ownership coupon offered but never mentioned. It was also a clinic day, those folks looked ready and eager to help the next pet. ( not sarcastic) Even if it was quiet when we were there.
