I took my dog to have her nails trimmed. The woman who was cutting them cut one too short. My dog was bleeding all over the place. The woman just kept saying this is normal. I've had my dogs nails cut several times and this has never happened. I asked the cashier to get whoever was in charge. They ended up not charging me but I will never go back. My poor dog yelped and was bleeding from what should have been a simple nail trim. read more

Beware dog owners. I would give this a "0" if I could . Groomer named Sarah inflexible & sent all 3 dogs away despite booking months in advance. She booked an hour to groom all three dogs in 60 minutes. I encountered a delay & rushed there w/all 3 dogs. She came storming out & said "your 15 minutes late " I can't see them! " I said well there's still 45 min can you groom the 4 pound puppy. Her response "No !" I asked why would you schedule all 3 in an hour if you can't even see the 4 pound dog in 45 minutes . Albeit I was 15 min late but no flexibility for the open 45 minutes in her schedule , lost revenue for the store . Don't think they care because when I got their all the workers were just talking to each other & not working , just socializing with each other . Don't think this store needs any revenue or cares about the customer !!!! Stay away -- go to Petco or elsewhere where they care !!!! This store does not ! read more

Brought my purebred 2 1/2 yr old golden doodle in for the $100 shampoo/ cut , aka full groom pkg today. And when I picked her up, to my disbelief, SHOCKED!... NOTHING is what I assumed would be done, she looks absolutely absurd!!! Nails, not done correctly, head n tail not done correctly, undercarriage not done correctly, patches area of fur not done correctly. ... I am appalled!! Just used the wash station and I have a membership. The girls were busy and asked if I had a dog wash card and I said yes. I was told to go ahead and wash my dog. When I was finished, I proceeded to go get my card stamped. As a young lady at the register was about to do it a young girl said I already stamped it. I am mediately told her that that was very sneaky, and she did it behind my back while I was washing my dog The gal being sneaky was Michaela a store manager She told me I told her it was OK She is a liar, flat out liar. I never had a conversation with her telling me that and she said I did. I'm really disappointed since I always use their dog wash, but always get my card stamped. To not be trusted is one thing, but to be lied to is another. She should've told me she sneakily stamped it without my knowledge. Shame on you and Michaela. read more

On the ever search to find things to keep my German shepherd busy I stopped here in Fairport, NY. Small store, dusty products, and employees disinterested. They have limited products for cats, dogs, fish, birds, small animals, etc. One product she did love was by flappy chirp and play that I located on my own. It makes gentle sounds like a bird and comes in small and large. I also bought a squeak kind, her second favorite. PS don't let dog take it out in snow even for a minute, it can ruin the battery! Their prices are fair; their sales and coupons are excellent and if they have something priced higher than a competitor, they will price match! I only wish their they would have a better selection of products for pets other than cats and dogs. But hey, I have yet to find a store that literally has everything and knowledgeable staff! My mini golden doodle went to Pet Supplies Plus in Penfield, NY. This was an absolutely horrible experience and I do not recommend getting your dog groomed at a Pet Supplies Plus at all. It was extremely specified how she was expected to be trimmed. She came back with only half of her face cut. Her ears and tail were not even touched. They shaved off her entire body, although it was clearly specified "just a trim". She is typically the most laid back dog, does not mind baths and loves all people. When I picked her up she seemed absolutely traumatized, was shaking, and had anxiety. I am extremely upset and disappointed. I put trust in this company as a whole to handle my dog with care, and groom her accordingly- however they proved their employees are not trained nor qualified to do their one job. DO NOT take your dog to Pet Supplies Plus. read more

The employees here are so so nice. I have bad social anxiety so I can't even express how much I appreciate their sociability; this is one of the very few places I go where I feel like I can actually have a short conversation with the people working there and I never feel anxious at all shopping there. Was here today around 1230 pm and our cashier Danielle was TERRIBLE! I gave only two stars because the rest of the employees were very nice. As we were cashing out my 18 month old daughter was standing beside my mom and she had stepped backwards and she got caught in the rigged up plastic with PVC pipe and Danielle who was cashing us out scolded my 18 month old daughter saying she had to leave it alone when it was accident and told her "you do not touch this" while pointing her finger in my daughters face my mom spoke up and said shes a baby and didnt mean it the plastic had stuck to her. Danielle then comments back to my mom "you need to control her" My first time here and it was a terrible experience. How in the world is it a toddlers fault that she steps back and gets caught in that rigged up mess. And NO ONE should ever scold someone else's child especially when it was not her fault. read more

I take my German shepherd here to bath myself and I bought the bath card witch is 25 dollars and you receive 5 baths. A usual walk in bath is 10 dollars. There are two tubs in the doggy wash station and I wanted to get my dog a bath before my birthday party. I have a long haired German shepherd who takes some time to shampoo and dry. The employees of this place made me feel so embarrassed when I was taking longer then 30 min to wash and dry my dog. They told my husband upon check out that baths are only 30 min long and longer they have to shut off the water and ask me to leave next time...... I still have 3 baths left to use on my card and will be expecting a refund if I am told to leave with my dog still dripping wet. read more

I love visiting here because the customer service is always on point. I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes because the staff gives their best and most honest suggestions for pet products. I take my dog to get his nails clipped here as well. He can be pretty skittish, but they do a fantastic job and it's only $8! I wouldn't take him anywhere else. read more
