Batavia Stage Coach Florist - Some of our many gift items

Batavia Stage Coach Florist

The day before my daughter's birthday I went online and ordered a cake of flowers w/balloon and a…read morebirthday card. The next morning I was emailed, with scattered wording, saying the cake plate wasn't available, to call if I would like to place another order. I called as soon as I read the message and asked for 2 other types of arrangements I saw online and was told she didn't have them in her list(?) So, needing to get something delivered quickly I asked her for a birthday vase with pastel roses, white carnations, and whatever she thought was a nice presentation. My daughter appreciated and thanked me for the bouquet in the vase, however when I saw a picture of it I couldn't believe there were 4 light pink roses, a mass of bright yellow dandelion looking weed flowers, and mini orange iris type flowers - UCKY!! I was thankful for the morning delivery, and the exact card I selected was a saving grace, and the mylar balloon looked like it came off a clown suit! "Roll the dice" if you want, but I will not be ordering from Stage Coach Florist in Batavia in the future. UPDATE: Then I receive 2 voice messages the following day saying my card declined because they didn't ask for the cvv on their website or on the phone. OMG!

Batavia Home Depot is definitely a value to the area and not just for the obvious reasons…read more(contractor supply, grills, fixtures, lawn equipment and furniture galore) It's also a fun, friendly place 94% of the time with events, workshops and a all around great staff. Do I know why they sell cute LIVE potted cactus with neon plastic flowers glued onto them? Nope, CAN'T say that I do - But I CAN say that their seasonal selection is second to none, they have insane sales and incredible value for your hard earned dollar. Down side, hate to be a Debbie downer but it goes from one of two extremes every time you vist: 1. You are stuck aimlessly wondering about looking about the aisles for sales associate's to help you that are harder to track down than BigFoot (Seriously, where are they hiding, in the fridges in the appliance section? Cause that's about the ONLY place I HAVEN'T looked yet)... OR 2. You can't go two steps without being asked if you need help (sometimes several times by the same person even when you've assured them that you're alright) or end up getting followed everywhere by an associate failing horribly at looking inconspicuous, which can be a bit unsettling and creepy. Just a thought, be aware and attentive and try for a happy medium in offering customers assistance ? Just a thought...

I had an extremely disturbing experience with Kilbury's Feed Service in Arkport, NY. They performed…read morework on a fireplace insert/heater at one of my properties, and while the occupants were sitting in the living room, the unit exploded with enough force to send glass shards into the wall. This was not a minor issue -- it was a dangerous, life-threatening failure directly tied to the unit they serviced. We were notified of the incident on Monday and I contacted the company that same day and was told we would hear back. By Tuesday morning, there had been no follow-up, so we physically went to the business to speak with the owner. The response was dismissive. We were told he hadn't spoken with his business partner yet and that "they had trucks and pallets to unload" -- apparently a heater exploding in an occupied home is not a top priority. We even offered to have them come out and inspect the heater themselves, and they declined and wanted nothing to do with it. When we calmly asked that they contact their insurance company to begin the claims process, we were told it "wasn't their problem" and were hung up on. You would think hiring a licensed contractor would prevent something like this, but clearly that was not the case. Instead of urgency, accountability, or concern for safety, we were met with excuses and disregard. I will be pursuing this matter further. If this is how they handle a life-threatening failure directly tied to their own work, that should be a serious red flag for anyone else considering utilizing their services.
