It is not close to me but I decided to go anyway. I got the gravels and plant, then went to get the gold fish. I wanted the cheapest kind just in case it doesn't work out. The attendant was nice, she let me pick the colors. I kept apologizing that for 29 cents a fish I was probably asking too much, but she didn't mind. When I checked out I realized I forgot to get fish food, the cashier went to get a can for me. Overall, I had a great experience at this store.

They chained her up, touched her foot once, She jumped just like I said she would and immediately they yelled "NOPE NOT DOING THIS!" She has since in the same week, gotten them done by somebody else and they were just fine no thanks to these guys! If you have a jumpy scared dog, don't take them here for grooming! . Paint fumes can be dangerous for bunnies and birds and it's still too cold to open windows. So far so great! They have a cheerful, comfortable, private room for boarding exotics (hooray--no stressed-out parrots near baking dogs)! The room even has a large TV and the staff asked what my pets like to watch. I asked for classical music only because that's what my birdie daughter India likes. I grew up in the house in question and there have been pets in it ever since 1972. Sending them someplace else and having the house so eerily quiet was difficult. But the staff at ACE seemed delighted to have my little family as their guests. They complimented me on my kids' cuteness and beauty which appealed very much to a mother's pride. I liked and appreciated their flexibility. I'm still at home, not traveling abroad or anything, so I said I wanted to be the one to come in to clean and feed. I asked if that could that keep fees down and I was told that was fine. The fee quoted for just housing them seemed fair and reasonable. I told the staff that there would be not much "work" involved in keeping my pets, but I asked that they come in and talk to and fuss over them as time allows over the course of the day. They said they would. Finally, I was impressed that they tucked a towel in the gap underneath the door so no drafts would come in as the main door is opened and closed many times over the course of the day. Cold drafts are also very bad for bunnies and birds. They thought of this without being asked!

He had a stick that he pulled out when the dogs got too rambunctious and ALL OF THEM WOULD REACT TO IT, COWERING IN FEAR. He said they /just know/ that when he's holding the stick that he's powerful but that's absolute crap, that is not normal behavior for a dog, who would generally LIKE sticks and stick-like objects. I hope for the dogs' sake that he's changed but for the dogs' sake he deserves this review. I've been bitching about this place to everyone for years but finally thought to share online when hearing about someone coming here made me sick.

When I was there in November, I noticed that they had a cake that was quite cute. In addition to the cake, they also had a baking mix, where you could make the cake yourself. Maybe next year I will get that, but I didn't have time to make a cake. Cooper really enjoyed the already made birthday cake. He had a couple pieces on his birthday and then as a treat for a couple days later. When I visited Purely Pets in November, the owner tossed a bunch of samples in my bag. Cooper happened to love one of those samples. When I went in there this time, the owner was out sick and her mom was running the store for her. She unfortunately didn't know what I was talking about, but collected my contact information. A day later, the owner emailed my back with the pictures of the treats. Customer service is amazing at Purely Pets. I will continue to support this business and encourage others to purchase their pet supplies here. They have items for dogs, cats and tiny critters too.

I was really impressed with the service, which is ultimately why I'll be coming back again soon! I'm a relatively new cat owner so I usually spend a ton of time at the big box pet stores squinting at cans and trying to guess what my cats may like. But I had a completely better experience at Purely Pets because as soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away and asked if I needed help with anything. So I took her up on that and asked for advice on cat treats. I appreciate that she asked what my cats normally enjoy then made suggestions based off that. The way she was describing the different treats, I could tell she was very knowledgeable on all of them. I also got a few cans of wet cat food and was relieved they had them organized by texture (my cats won't eat puréed), and that they had signs beneath each that made reading the ingredients much easier than squinting at tiny cans. When I cashed out, she also gave me a few samples for my cats to try, including "Inaba irresistible Churu". I wasn't sure if my cats would like a treat like this, but they LOVED it! So now I'm definitely coming back to buy some more of these! Overall I would highly recommend stopping in to Purely Pets, especially if you're looking for recommendations on new food or treats.

I have pelvic cancer and bladder issues, so I was waiting for the restroom to become available. While I waited, I walked down a nearby aisle to browse. Suddenly, two employees approached me from opposite ends of the aisle and began questioning me as if I had done something wrong. I had done absolutely nothing to deserve being treated like a suspect. What made this even worse was how obvious it felt that I was being judged by my appearance. Just because I have tattoos does not make me a criminal or a bad person. It's 2026--people need to stop making assumptions based on how someone looks. Disabilities are not always visible, and neither is someone's character. The way your employees and managers handled this situation was disrespectful, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. You didn't just hurt my feelings--you hurt my daughter's as well. She watched her parent be treated with suspicion instead of kindness. You lost what would have been a paying customer. I was planning to buy a pet from your store next week, but after being made to feel so unwelcome, you will never receive another dollar from me. I hope management takes a serious look at how customers are treated because no one should have to leave a pet store feeling ashamed for simply existing.
