The gift shop is filled with skin care, gifts anything you can imagine. I forgot to fill out the form online before coming in since I was a new patient/customer but I filled out a hard copy instead. I was taken back to the ladies room and was given a robe and sandals and shown a locker where to put ny things. The ladies room has showers, bathrooms, and dressing rooms. But they also have things you might need like a hair tie or feminine hygiene product. After I put on my robe and flip flops I went to the quiet room. They had lemon cucumber water (DELISH!) and some snacks. Truly so relaxing. My massage therapist then came and got me and walked me to my the room. I believe her name was Gina. She was great at explaining everything and she spent extra time working on my legs and ankles (as requested) because they are so swollen from being pregnant. The massage was truly relaxing I wish I could've booked a longer appointment! But all and all I felt relaxed and refreshed after which is exactly what I needed. I had some watermelon cucumber water after my massage and then went back to the quiet room to relax more and paid when I left. I honestly can't wait to come back for another service!

In fact the prior Medispa I tried for laser hair removal did not take into account my complexion and as a result I had very bad hyperpigmentation. The first time I had a skin care consultation with Marie, we discussed my goals which at that time were about evening out my skin tone. After the first treament I saw significant improvement and since then she has introduced me to other services that have helped including: Jet Clear Microdermabrasion, Rezonorate & Dermaplaning. What is really special about Marie is that she will never advise you to do something that is truly not needed. That is when you know you can trust an esthetician. Your skin care needs are her primary concern. I have purchased some of the skin care products from the studio and have not been dissatisified with any of the products. Her recommendations suit my skin care needs. The studio has recently moved and expanded and I'm excited to work with the other estheticians/massage therapists and to trying new treatments.

Then comes the brows, after the concerning and confusing facial. My brows were tinted and then waxed. The tint left me looking like Ms. Trunchbull. No way I was going out in public with those on my face. Upon closer inspection my brows were haphazardly waxed- which I couldn't tell with the mass of tint still on my skin. Arrived home, attempted all the tricks to remove the tint, with little success. I'll be headed to another salon next week to correct the $40 attempt at brow shaping. There was one time I should have listened to her about my bangs, but I didn't, and luckily my bangs grew back pretty quickly LOL. She is a master of color and can tone down my highlights when the sun lightens them too much or lighten my hair when it's winter and I need a pick me up. I'm just gonna come out and say it. I have hairdresser trust issues. It's nobody's fault but my own…read more-- my hair is super-curly and the texture is something most stylists don't know how to deal with. Many of my past haircuts have ended in tears because stylists have tried to put layers in where they don't belong, or straighten my hair, or any other number of mistakes. After my last hairdresser moved to Florida, I legitimately considered learning how to cut my own hair. But on recommendation from a friend, I gave Jackie at Beautyquest a call, and a not-completely-disastrous first experience was enough to keep me coming back. She's so friendly, cuts hair really quickly, and after many refusals on my part, she has finally stopped trying to straighten or blow-dry my hair after she cuts it. She's also good at working with a variety of textures (my mom and my sister also see her, and neither of them have hair that's even close to as crazy as mine). One thing to note is (and I'm not sure if it's just Jackie, or if it's every stylist at Beautyquest) that services here are cash or check-only.
