I have brought my car to install the tire I brought with me. The tire was tested before, so I know…read morethat it was a good tire even though it was used. The next day, I saw a big bubble. So I thought of this defective tire. As I found out later (when I brought my car to the shop owned by a friend I trust), I was told that the tireman had ripped the robber from inside the rim. Thus I had to buy another. Also, there was no tire balance performed, which I paid for. Anyways, these guys need to be more trustworthy. I'll never come to this place again. Ever. My big recommendation for the next customers is never to use this business and never trust work there.

If you want a quick fix for your tire, this is the best place to get it done. No appointments…read morenecessary. No lines either. The owner, Juan, is very efficient. The shop is open 7 days a week. Juan diagnosed the issue and took the time to explain it to me. He helped me pick out an affordable tire then he installed right away. I had a punctured tire which I had been driving around with for a long time. He showed me that there was a nail that had been embedded deep inside the rubber. My problem was solved within 25 minutes of my arrival. I was able to drive off with no problems. Juan is very friendly and knowledgeable. He sells New as wells used tires. He takes the time to explain your options to you and at the same time works fast to fix it. He can also patch up tires if the problem is small enough, instead of replacing it. This is the second time I've been to him. The first time was about six months ago, when I had a similar issue where I ran over a nail. Lots of construction has been happening in my neighborhood, hence the issue with my punctured tires. I highly recommend this place. Parking is limited but he knows what to do to make it work so you don't have to worry about it.

Ronny could diagnose and repair anything and everything on a car. If conventional methods didn't work, he kept trying different things until he found the solution. Since Ronny finally came to his senses and moved on, there's really no reason for anyone not to go to one of the many other shops in the area. The owner of Hilna, the eminent Louie Gelman is nasty, obnoxious and often verbally abusive. He has more used tires filling every area of his shop than he could possibly sell in fifteen lifetimes. He could squeeze so much blood out of a dime, you have to wonder why his hands are always filthy black from grime, and not red. And he will charge regular long term customers as much as three times more than almost any other mechanic will charge. If Louie gets lost under his tires one day, and if Ronny comes back and takes over, keeping Jimmy and the other honest and competent mechanics who have worked there for many years, this would truly be an amazing shop. As it is, it has one major serious fault that makes many people like me walk away and never look back. That flaw, of course, is a cheap nasty little hustler named Louie.
