I normally pick up my smoothies, but I recently had surgery and can't drive, so delivery wasn't optional. I placed my order at 10:38 AM, was told it would arrive by 11:20, and it didn't show up until 12:20. An entire hour late for a smoothie. When I called the store to cancel once it was clear the order was going to be extremely late, the employees told me they "aren't empowered" to issue refunds -- but somehow are empowered to charge my card. Make that make sense. Their only solution was to email the same customer service address that ignored me the last time this happened. I emailed repeatedly back then and never received any real help. To make matters worse, ordering through DoorDash would have at least waived the delivery fee because I'm a DashPass member -- but Nectar doesn't give loyalty points unless you order through their own app. So I tried to support them directly, and this is the treatment I get. Between the high prices, the nonexistent customer service, and the complete lack of accountability, I'm done. Thank goodness Tropical Smoothie opened out west, because Nectar clearly has no interest in taking care of their customers.
