My niece and I decided here for lunch today, 9/5/26…read more She ordered the Mexican pizza and I ordered the breakfast burrito with sauce on the side. Our server, Nadia, was very friendly, smiling every time she came to our table. There was minor construction going on near the main entrance so we were diverted to the patio entrance. Not an issue and I noticed that this entry is accessible.

This is our 2nd time coming here, just 2 of us. 1st we were seated promptly on dining side. After we sat, there were 2 other tables seated. We were given waters pretty quickly, but then the skip happened. No one came by to take drinks, then waiter went to the tables that came in after us and took their orders. At that point we thought that was odd. Then both waiter and waitress walked by like we are all good with our waters. We decided to get up and walk over to bar side, instead of leaving. Male waiter (guessing we were in his section) just watched us walk over to other side with a smirk on his face. We left it alone. Part 2, we sat down, bartender came took order right away and drinks came quickly, appetizer came quick too. Dinner came and all was good. Bartender did great and service was good on that side. We did let hosts know we were moving and why. We did not make a big deal out of it, but they knew, as there wasn't that many people there on dining side. We did tip the bartender over 20%, because he did a good job on saving the experience we started with. If we would of just sat on bar side in 1st place, I would rate all 3 categories 5 star. If we would of just left, LIKE MOST WOULD, then I would of gave all categories a 1 star. Again, the older bartender was really good and service. This happened Aug. 15th 4:30pm.

I'm not sure how often they rotate the menu, but my husband is still missing the mofongo. This salad, though, has me in a chokehold. I think about it more often than I should. We eat here a few times a year, not to overdo it. Drinks are really good. The bartenders do something here that most bars can't; innovate cocktails so you get a new flavor experience, and the flavors actually work together. Most places, if they have a "creative" cocktail, I'd rather pass. Typically the execution rarely matches the ambition. Not here. They get it right. The service is always good. It's the right amount of attention, never hovering, always checking in when it matters. The dishes are spaced out enough that it creates a nice rhythm, and that pacing is probably what makes the service feel just right. I do wish they'd turn down the music. But I'm old and have tinnitus from years in the Army. The walls and lighting are great. Thankfully the menu is readable. Again, I'm old. Go for the cocktails, stay for the salad.

Overall decent food but felt a little on the pricier end for what we got. Vibes were chill though. My favorite was the Tlacoyo Cochinita, Pork Belly Chicharron and the Lucina Burger. Really wanted to try the Mofongo but they were sold out!

I was in town for a work trip and this restaurant was recommended by a few coworkers. I'm so glad I…read morewent! The restaurant itself is adorable--bright colors, lots of plants, and a really fun atmosphere. The music reminded me of a tiki room. We started with the ceviche, made with citrus-cured mahi, and it was probably my favorite thing we ordered. Bright, fresh, refreshing, and really, really good. The beans were also amazing. The menu described them as refried beans, but they were actually whole heirloom beans in a delicious smoky sauce, topped with cojita. I ended up eating them with the warm tortillas. The tortillas are ordered individually (75 cents each), so they ask how many you want. They were very thin, warm, and excellent. The guacamole was very good too--really good avocados topped with verde salsa and a sesame seed sauce. It was an unusual combination, I didn't really taste the sesame. The coconut rice was the one thing that wasn't for me. It smelled incredible, almost like a coconut dessert, so I expected it to be slightly sweet, but it was savory. The full-fat coconut flavor was very rich and a little too decadent for my taste. Service was great. Our server was friendly, helpful. A 20% service charge for the staff is included. He let us know that anything additional was not expected, but if we chose to leave more, it would go directly to him. Definitely worth a visit. I'm glad my coworkers recommended it and would absolutely come back for the ceviche, beans, and tortillas.

Our first stop in Denver was Mister Oso…read more We started off with Tepache Ceviche ($22). The ceviche includes serrano chile, thai basil, and sesame mayu oil giving it Asiany notes. The flavors were unexpected and it was a nice take on the usual ceviche flavors. It was also delicious refreshing on such a hot, hot day. The queso ($14 for a large) was queso-ing. Honestly, I would never order this just to order it, it seemed fitting to eat a skillet of melty cheese topped with chorizo simply because we were on a vacation. It was a decadent guilty pleasure and I highly recommend ordering one for yourself. For tacos, we ordered 2: -hard style ($12 for 2): crunchy blue corn tortilla, "mom's taco meat," Oso fire sauce, charred scallion crema, queso fresco -pork cheek al pastor ($17): al pastor braised pork cheeks, pineapple, avocado salsa, charred jalapeño onion, cilantro I liked all the tacos we ordered. The crunchy taco was an elevated version of the one you normally make at home. Twas delicious. The pork cheeks al pastor was a DIY sitch where you build your own taco. I thought the meat was perfectly marinated with a slight hint of sweetness which helped cut the spicy. These were served with flour tortillas. Service was spotty, though we did dine at an off hour. Overall, a good spot for a casual lunch.

Also the frozen cocktails are delicious and presented beautifully. The food both on happy hour and the regular menu is really good too. Everyone is very kind and friendly and helped us decide what to order and make food modifications for allergy and preferences. The tip is already included in all the checks, but it is not hidden or sneaky in any way, like other places that will not disclose . Cannot wait to go back

We also ended up getting the ice cream and churro which was truly the best churro i've ever had. 10/10. can't wait to go back.
