I came here twice before today, and the service was great and quick. The ladies were nice and did an excellent job. I just went in and asked how much it is for a shellac refill and pedicure, and the lady told me "well we don't have time right now." I said "for either one?" And she said "yes." So I laughed, and walked out. That's cool. You guys close in 3.5 hours and don't have any time for a refill and pedicure. I really thought that was some sort of language barrier but when I turned around to walk out, no one corrected the lady and they just let me leave. 2 stars bc my prior 2 visits were good but I won't be coming back as it seems I'm not welcome. Also, the parking is a joke at this place. There are lots of other nail salons with easier parking and better customer service, so I won't be returning and won't be referring people to this place. read more

Let me start by saying I asked if there was anyone available to do my nails when they said there was. They got me to sit down, have my feet soaked in water, only to let me know later that they had no one available. And the next person showing up would be 15m late. By far the best (and most affordable) nail salon in the area. And boy have I looked. I had a mani/pedi done tonight that was beyond incredible from start to finish! I walked in with an hour until they closed and I never once felt rushed or hurried, my sweet nail tech Hannah also gave me an almost 20 minute neck massage that was so heavenly it made my entire week. It was $35 for the mani/pedi and $10 for my old dip set to be soaked off, which is so reasonable for the customer service you receive and the overall end result was beautiful. My kids and I have been getting good our nails done here for years! I love the new location, it's very open bright and pretty and extremely well ventilated which I love since I have problems with asthma. The staff is the friendliest on earth and they do an amazing job on my mani pedis! They offer shellac and a wide variety of OPI and CND colors and every thing is nice and clean! I've noticed some other reviews have complained that they don't have "real" mani pedi chairs... umm Yeah that's because those giant chairs with jets are almost impossible to clean with other people's dead skin circulating through it, barf! I've worked and managed spa's for years and never allowed the "real" massage chairs since I think they are unsafe and down right nasty! I personally asked the owner not to ever have them and to Not dare order any for the new place... if you like those other chairs then knock yourself out... I'm going to take my cleanable foot tubs thanks. .. I should also mention that as someone who was once a 20 year veteran massage therapist, I think they have the most relaxing massages with their nail services in town! I called ahead to make appointments for a pedi and a shellac mani. They rushed me through both in 35 minutes. They started by drilling off the old shellac. When I asked if they could soak it instead, they gave me a bowl of acetone rather than wrapping my nails individually. I asked for square; they did rounded. It's so thin it chipped almost immediately. The skin on my heels was so rough afterwards I had to give myself another pedi. I posted a pic of what the shellac looked like after only two days. My theory is that they might do a better job if you're local, but they know they don't have to impress anyone else. read more

worst pedicure experience ever and I have them done monthly for more than 20 years. I am visiting from up north and thought to have a pedicure to show off my toes here in warm Houston. I made a reservation. arrived 5 mins early, was told to sit in a chair, waited 30 mins, then the following happens: cuts to my toes using a nail file roughly while taking off gel polish, wrapped toes to remove polish, then dry massages legs before getting feet soaked or cleaned, scrapes off polish shoving tool into cuticle beds, nicks skin while using clippers. she doesn't remove dry skin on feet, I finally after so much pain and discomfort tell her no polish just let me go. Oh and I am an overweight middle aged woman. She says really loudly, during all of this, to the ladies sitting next to me, " you ladies are skinny, I like that" then looks up at me. OMG! This is a must try place! I had my nails done about 10 days before I walked in here. I didn't care for the way the salon I go to when I am in town. So when she saw my nails she new right away that I didn't need a new set nor a refill. So she just re-shaped them and made them SO SO Pretty. She told me she didn't want me to spend more money than what I had already spent . So she is very considerate. I can't stop looking at my hand. She does amazing work! And she is so friendly. UPDATE: hours after I post original review my vinylux polish that should last 10-14 days barely lasted 24 hours! I dropped them from a questionable 3 star to 2 stars. I noticed some reviews say 15 min massages are included. In my original review I stated the massage was fantastic, but only 2-3 minutes. I did not receive 15 min massage. My first time visiting yesterday around 1:30. I was a walk in and they were able to see me right away for regular mani/ pedi. Keep in mind all of this was a weekday (Friday). Parking is limited, had to park on street. Since it was mid weekday, I was able to park close. Staff was friendly when they greeted me. After that there wasn't much talking. I was OK with that and plugged in my earbuds. Nail color selection was limited. I always bring my own, but this time I opted for their vinylux for my mani. My color for pedi. Their vinyls were very limited and old. They didn't have many current colors for vinyls or reg polishes. I didn't look through their shelacs. $30 mani/ pedi, which isn't that cheap but competitive for the area I suppose. Was supposed to be extra $2 for vinyl, but they didn't charge me for it because it was old. Now the actual service... Nothing impressive. Pedi water was hot and I said so. They kept running around getting my station set up. I eventually just eased my feet in. They didn't do a good job of removing existing (regular) polish off of my nails on hands or feet. Fortunately my toes were being painted a darker color to hide it. After mani I had to request they remove dirt and polish from under my nails. My mani wasn't done well. I selected a light pinkish color that required 3 coats, I got 2. The chairs are cheap recliners, not massage chairs. It looked like they had 2 massage chairs for more expensive services. They used plastic tubs set atop old school foot massagers for pedis. They basically just vibrate the water which was unnoticeable. Their salon is on the older, cheaper equipment side. For the price, I can go to better salons. The only way I would go back is if I was desperate and couldn't get into my regular salons. This place was 1.5 mi. from home. The best part was neck massage. They do a really good one for 2-3 minutes. read more

Basically, after all these years of getting my nails done at several places, I've NEVER been to a place that forced me to get a additional manicure for $20 when all I wanted and had time for was to change the color of my shellac. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. If I have to spend a total of $40 just to get my shellac color refilled, WHY DOES THIS NAIL SHOP HAVE one $ sign? I asked for a menu, the manicure & shellac services were SEPERATE, not together. I hated my entire experience. Thanks a lot for nothing. I'm just going to keep going to my regular place. I had on a clean white shirt as well, thanks to your massage, I left with a dirty white shirt. I wish I could get my money back. Such a forceful scam. If someone wants a manicure, give them a manicure. If someone wants JUST SHELLAC, give them just shellac and don't take forever doing it. Horrible. I'm looking at my nails right now as I type this, nothing special about it..... wish I could rate this place a half star for my experience yesterday. I've now been coming to this salon for 8 years! Have never left unhappy. I stopped getting acrylics so I could have healthier nails. Love getting just a regular Mani /pedí for just $35! Can't complain about the price and you get a great massage. They get very busy specially in the weekends so I normally call ahead to see if I need an appointment or they can squeeze me in. I have my favorite techs so sometimes I just make an appointment beforehand so I know exactly who is going to do my nails. Love the choices of so the opi colors. Jeanie is very good about ordering the newest collection for her clients. Sometimes I let them choose a color for me when I'm indecisive. If you want acrylics or waxing done, you must have an appointment. I can't say enough great things about the staff here. These ladies are truly amazing!!! When she was done with my pedi she left and another lady started doing my nails. OH MY GOODNESS, I could not believe how bad my manicure came out. I made sure to be there at the time or near the time they opened just because we all know how Saturdays are at nail salon. When I first walked in there were three techs and one customer, I mentioned to the first tech I needed a refill she said ok and walked away. I then picked a nail color and patiently sat down, a different nail tech came and asked me what service I needed I stated refill then she says you must schedule an appointment for refills...EXCUSE ME WHAT?!? This place is open on Sundays! The website says that they are closed but they take walkins from 12-4. I've never had to wait here to get my nails done and am in and out of here in less than 45 minutes. The staff is very friendly and has always done a good job on my nails. This was the worst pedicure I've ever had. She dug at my cuticles so aggressively for so long after I had asked her many times to please stop as I was bleeding and in pain. I had to go home and bandaid multiple of my toes and now have two massive ingrown toenails, one extremely infected. Nothing about this was a positive experience.
