A few more texts and she finally responded that she had been called into work. The following morning, I attempted to buy the furniture again. She said her husband had sold it. I went in to return a shirt that was a gift from my nephew, who lives four hours away. The employee inspected the shirt in a way that felt completely excessive and borderline invasive like a full cavity search of the garment despite it being unworn and tagged. He was rude, dismissive, and offered no solutions and kept my receipt When I asked to speak to a manager, he refused to provide one or escalate the issue. He maintained a smug, sarcastic attitude the entire time not once trying to be helpful or understanding. For a store that carries the Lids name, this level of customer service is unacceptable.
