I went into this location today Saturday 4/26/25 at 8 AM and picked up 15 bags of soil that was on sale for $5 each.. great deal and the customer service at this facility was 5 star!!! Chris who was the gentleman outside, loaded up all my bags onto the cart and brought them to my vehicle and I didn't even have to ask!! Great customer service. The cashier was also very nice and gave him a 5 star as well. Living in Las Vegas for 1 year and it's very hard to get grear customer service anymore. Thank you for going above and beyond and making me a happy customer. Keep up the good work! it's hard to find people like you!! love it and will definetly be a returning customer!

I just needed something small and simple and something that would work. The zipper to my luggage had completely broken off before I arrived to Vegas and I just needed some kind of loop to hook onto it. I went to the back and Baz was so helpful and so nice.

Unfortunately I have to downgrade my rating of this place. The products are great, the neighborhood feel still exists but after my experience with Ty and the restroom I'm not sure I'll be back except when I'm in need of a screw or bolt for a special project. Went in today to get some bike locks and found myself wandering the isles as I'm sure lots of others do. While shopping my kiddo needed to use the restroom so of course I took her. What I found in the restroom was absolutely disgusting. The restroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a month. I think the employees must use a different bathroom because that one looked like a deserted ghost town with a twist of the Hills Have Eyes. I found myself looking in every direction in case some radiated zombie came creeping out of a dark corner. There was zero toilet paper and only about 3 pieces of towels left in the dispenser. The floor had nasty black stains/shoe prints on it and toilet literally looked and smelled like an outhouse from a summer concert after a long weekend. Interesting enough was the cleaning log. At least they weren't hiding that they didn't clean it. On the 21st of the month it had been "visited" by a staff member a total of 5 times. July 3rd, 8th, 10th, 13th and 15th (see picture attached). So we gathered our basket of goodies and went to the front. I planned on simply letting them know it needed attention and moving on, however after my interaction with the Ty I find myself here. Here is a play by play of my interaction with him. Ty: You have a rewards card? Me: No not yet. Ty: Ok your total is $109.39 Me: By the way restroom is in very bad shape. It looks like it hasn't been actually cleaned in several weeks. Ty: Cool. You paying with a card? Me: Yeah. So you don't care it looks that bad? Ty: Well...I've never had to clean it, so.... (Rolling his eyes). Me: Ok well thank you. Ty: Yep. You're welcome

Often times I'll go to the general home improvement stores and only find the most popular items - which is understandable. Or, if they have some unique items, they'll only stock a couple pieces and not enough for what I'm needing. Often, I'm looking for unique sizes of different nuts and bolts. On top of it - I'm also looking for stainless steel and specific compositions with different heads. This store is so vast! There's so many aisles and if you haven't been here before, it can be overwhelming. However, everyone who works here is SO NICE. I cannot say enough about their knowledge and willingness to help - even walk you to find exactly what you're looking for. This place is really a one-stop shop for me on so many days!

The manufacturer wanted $7 for the pair plus $11 for shipping. Amazon had packs of 50 or 100 for $6-$13 with shipping included, but the earliest delivery was Monday. As a last-ditch effort, I checked the local big-box stores, but nothing looked promising. Then I remembered McFadden-Dale and decided to make the trip before they closed. They didn't have the exact 6-32 x 7/16", but they did have 6-32 x 1/2". The staff was incredibly helpful and took the time to check the thread pitch to make sure they'd work. Best of all, four screws cost me just $0.56 instead of nearly $20--and I didn't end up with another 40 or 90 extras I'd now have to find uses for. Their credit card system was down, so it was cash only. They also close at 2 PM on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays.

This is a REAL HARDWARE STORE. I was pleasantly surprised at all they had and the cleanliness of the store. The employees were nice and helpful. This is the kind of place I remember going to with my Dad back in the Carolinas when I was growing up. They have lots of bbq supplies , sauces , rubs , and of course bbqs like Traeger and Big Green Egg. They occasionally have cookouts for special occasions like 4th of July and such and of course I've missed everyone. They have a small Traeger that I may end up going back to buy. Also lots of tools and gardening equipment to include shovels and tree trimmers. Lots of bird feeders , it's just nice to see the selection they have here. I would definitely recommend you checking this place out.

This was my first time attending the National Hardware Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center…read more The show is divided into two major sections--lawn, home, and garden--and regular hardware items such as tool boxes, welding helmets, plumbing supplies and everything else you could ever lump into the "hardware" category. I spent more time in the home and garden section even though most of the items don't have a use in Las Vegas for many of us. Since we've traded grass for xeriscape, many of us have no need for lawn mowers, weed whackers, et. al. The lawn and garden section was in the North Hall of the convention center. I met some very nice and interesting people. It's a much more laid back show than the geeks of CES. I eventually made my way to the Central Hall for the regular hardware items. One of the standouts in this area was the large electrical displays. If I were giving Benjamin Braddock advice this year, I'd tell him, "LEDs". There were so many vendors with lights of various kinds that used LEDs to generate bright lights. After the Central Hall, I went outside to the outdoor, recreation, and tailgate area. They had a number of food vendors here tied in with some kind of cooking item. There were several vendors selling outdoor pizza bakers that rotated the pizzas as they cooked. They also had samples. I was surprised at how much food and food related vendors that were at the show. I expected a lot of wrenches, toilets, and other hardware items. Imagine my surprise when I'm given samples of beef jerky (teriyaki flavor) on entering the show to get my credentials. I'll attend next year. It's too good a show to miss and it's at a great time of the year!

This particular location on Tropicana at Durango is so much larger than meets the eye. I loved the personal service here, the organized rows, and the well-curated selection of merchandise.
