JB Bowling Supply is hands‑down the best pro shop in town. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping bowlers improve--not just selling equipment. They take the time to explain fits, layouts, and options, and you can tell they truly care about getting everything just right. They have a large and diversified selection, the prices are fair, and the service is fast without ever feeling rushed. Whether you're brand new to bowling or a seasoned league bowler, this place is the best. Their expertise, friendliness, and commitment to quality make JB Bowling Supply an easy five‑star experience. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

THE WHITE MALE WITH THE WHITE HAIR IS A PERVERT!!!! do NOT support this business. he had commented on MY body after discussing the importance of respecting your partner.. A HYPOCRITE!!! Great guys, was recommended by friends to visit JB Bowling Supply when I moved here from California. They do great work and making sure you're satisfied with your bowling equipment. Nothing but the best experience with the all the staff there, Highly recommend. read more

My wife bought a new ball for me after not bowling for 20 years. After researching online and talking to friends at work who bowls, I decided to have it drilled yesterday at JB Bowling Supplies. I absolutely have no regrets at all, John (the owner) Paul & Mark were so attentive and sincere with how they treated me. All my questions were explained thoroughly with so much patience, I never felt rushed. They are really just good people and good people are hard to find nowadays. Definitely found my permanent pro shop! Thanks fellas! P.S. today I went back and as soon as John saw me he said "Nick, come over, what's happening"...he even remembered my name! I explained that I needed my thumb slug smooth out and he took cared of it right away. read more

JB Bowling Supply - My new Black Widow - Sporting Goods Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Decided to get the whole family into bowling this last Christmas. So..off to JB Bowling Supply. Found this business on Yelp(because you know that's my go-to for awesomeness.) Let me tell you,the staff at this place is EPIC. These guys LIVE and BREATHE BOWLING. We had a large order and a plethora of questions, all of which was taken care of in FINE STYLE. You can always tell when the staff understands what customer service is and these guys get it. They really do. Convenient and committed to excellence,if you're looking to get serious (or not so serious) into bowling-come see these guys! You won't be disappointed! read more

The pros here were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a couple balls and drilled the holes for me right away. I came back the next day because one of the balls felt like the hole was a little tight and they reamed it out for me for no charge. They also told me which alleys were good and which ones to avoid based on the lane quality. Prices seemed fair. I highly recommend going here! read more

The service was great! They walked us through the process of getting a new bowling ball and how to have the holes drilled and also how important it is to fit your ball. The value was overall great and the service was really the most impressive. We were in and out within 45 minutes with a new ball and bag! Highly recommend! read more

Service was great. We got helped right away. Went in to get my bowling ball finger grips replaced. Staff was very knowledgeable. Gave me great advice. The wife even decided to get a new ball and have it drilled. They have a big selection of equipment. Good prices. Definitely will be back. read more

Super awesome guys, I came in with 3 balls for drilling and was nervous to drill them since other shops have given me generic layouts in the past. Jon was really cool and informative and gave me layouts that worked with my axis point and made me feel confident that I was getting what worked best for me. JB also has pretty much anything you could ever want in stock. Amazing selection of both new and used bowling balls, 1-4 ball bags, shammys, tape, shoe covers, ball cleaners, jerseys, pins, wrist support, soles, sanding pads, etc. They also have some pretty cool sports themed balls and custom balls. They helped me in a pretty timely manner and were super supportive. They'll take care of you for sure read more

Last time I visited and reviewed JB bowling supply 6 years ago, my experience was incredible. Absolutely nothing has changed since then. All the team members were so friendly, knowledgeable and real. They are more interested in what gear is going to make you a better bowler, rather than just selling you the most expensive stuff they can. The store itself is unique for a bowling store, at least as far as I'm concerned. They carry a larger selection of balls, shoes, bags, and more than all other pro shops I've ever visited combined. And best of all, they carry much of it in stock! So you get everything you want same day! If they don't have it in stock, it takes just a couple days to get things shipped in. You can also buy everything online and get it shipped to you anywhere in the country. I ended up buying two balls and again what was incredible is that they were able to drill the balls in just an hour or so, something that is also special about their location. Most pro shops you go to will at least take a few days. They saved all my measurements on file, so next time I need a ball, they can drill it up and ship it out to me out of state. As far as balls go, in addition to the wide selection of new balls they have, they have a couple large racks of used and refurbished balls that are available at an incredible discount. From what I saw, their pricing is also lower than most shops I've been to, which enabled me to buy more than I normally would have been able to. Overall, if you're a bowler, be it brand new, a seasoned league bowler, or pro, this is the "Mecca" of bowling supplies and you won't be disappointed when you come here. read more

Great service. Very reasonable prices. I went there on a friend's recommendation a few years ago, and now it's the only place I go for bowling equipment. read more

It's been a really trying two years of falling out of the ball or my thumb sticking. None of my 3 local southern CA drillers could fix my problem. Hearing about Jon and his staff from a friend, I decided to visit the store while bowling a Vegas tourney. After Jon measured my hands and flexibility in my fingertips, he corrected my far too wide span (I'm a fingertip bowler) and used the correct size women fingertips. He noted that the reason I kept slipping out of the ball before (no matter how tight my thumb was in the hole) is because it wasn't possible for all three fingers to stay in the ball at the same time. The new fit is dramatic and so much more comfortable. It's no wonder I have had so much arm pain before (see the pic)! Customer service is A++, by the way. I called ahead to let them know I was from California. They were extremely mindful that my time in Vegas was short. By the end of the weekend they drilled two new balls and plugged/redrilled 7 more. Outstanding. They have a short bowling lane to test out the fit. The store is well stocked and their ball supplier is down the street (ie if you need the ball same or next day, they likely have what you need). They have several drillers on staff. In the future, now that they have my specs, I may call them and they'll drill any new balls and send them to me in California. Prices are completely reasonable. Staff is friendly! They educate (with no egos)! Highest recommendation! read more

JB Bowling Supply - Jon B corrected my horrible fit from my old driller. - Sporting Goods Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

I was in a bowling league as a child and decided to pick up the sport again. But where do I start? where do I buy equipment? Luckily, I seen an ad at Wildfire Bowling recommending to come here and I am glad I did. I went to a couple of bowling places around the valley and JB Bowling blew them out of the water. The store is clean, the prices are clear, and there are PLENTY of options and colors for shirts, bags, balls etc. JB set me up with a beautiful bowling ball and bag that is perfect for my level. And guess what? My bowling ball SMELLS LIKE CUPCAKES, yes you read that right, it has a scent! I will be back for all my bowling related needs, thanks guys! read more

Love these guys! Quick and easy, good prices, and knowledgeable guys. Everyone is know in the bowling community goes here and I know why.

I love this place! I've been a customer for years, the knowledge and service they provide is unbeatable. My average keeps climbing to new highs as I keep coming back for service and bowling tips. I had a hard time getting my Hammer Hybrid down the lane and came in looking for a new ball with different specs to fix my problem. I talked to John, and he recommended a Hustle for my bowling style. I have a hustle that's been sitting for years because I had a hard time getting it down the lane as well. It turns out the Hustle just needed to be polished and brought back to life. So instead of selling me a new ball, John serviced my old Hustle and now I'm in love with it. Average 210 at The Orleans at night! read more

My boyfriend and I went to look for a roller. We came across a used ball for $90 and that included the price for drilling holes. It was a really good deal. It was about 5:30PM on a Friday and they were able to drill the holes before we left. The guy who was helping us (didn't get his name), he used to be a bowling coach. He gave a lot of insight and tricks for someone who is a beginner, super helpful and friendly. This place is pretty deep in to Green Valley but completely worth the drive. These guys are going to take care of you and answer questions you'll have. read more

The first thing that stood out to me was the attentiveness and willingness of multiple staff members to help me when I went to the store. I had one guy primarily helping me, and one of the older guys came over and chimed in on what we were talking about, lending his expertise to the conversation. They recommended a ball for my purposes and drilled it on the spot. They explained in great detail and in very Laymans terms when necessary so that I felt confident about my purchase. They have gained a customer forever as far as I am concerned. They have a great selection, and absolutely incredible service. Oh... And let me add, that their pricing was less expensive than two places that I had previously visited. read more

If you're in Henderson and need a bowling pro shop, JB Bowling Supply is the best. If you're not in Henderson, then you should make a trip there. Not only do they have a great selection, but they're knowledgeable and super cool. From the moment you walk in the store to walking out... guaranteed grade A customer service. What amazed me more is how friendly they are beginners. The way their face lit up, when I said my goal was to end up joining a league. Im definitely getting my gear here from now on. Probably has the cleanest store in the city and the widest selection of used bowling bowls. Pricing on the used may heavily vary though. I suggest just asking them and telling them what you want to get out of your next purchase and im 100% that they have the right idea for you. Not to mention, they probably have everything you need and looking for thats necessary to get that consistent game going! read more

I recently moved to Henderson, and I brought 3 of my bowling balls that were drilled in Hawaii. I'm a league bowler, and really enjoy bowling. I decided it was time to get a new ball, and had a couple of recommendations for JB Bowling Supply. I went in and met John, explained to him what I was looking for, and he gave me a few ball recommendations. He was really nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. The next day I went back, with the intent to purchase and have a couple of balls drilled up. John was not in, but I met up with Paul. Super nice guy and also very knowledgeable. Although I have my old equipment, I wanted to get refitted, and he was happy to assist. He's very patient, and explained everything that he suggested, which made a lot of sense, even to me! Paul wanted to get my specs right, so he was in no rush to just sell me balls and send me on my way. He made adjustments and the grip feels great, the best I've felt! I have yet to throw the ball down the lane, but knowing that JB Bowling Supply will work with me to get it perfect is awesome! I highly recommend JB Bowling Supply! read more

Now first off let me say, bowling was never my thing. For whatever reason, I pulled a muscle whilst bowling years ago and steered clear from the lanes since. Until recently, gave it another shot and although I'm not the best, I thought I was aight. BF had to get a new ball after his previous one cracked, which he purchased at another pro shop last week. Guy who sold it was was nice but not comparable to the service we experienced coming to JB. I decided I wanted my own ball because I could never find the right weight/size ball at the allies, even if it's not a busy night. Staff was very friendly and attentive. *Spotlight Paul*, he went above and beyond, answering and explaining any inquiries we had and even offered pointers. We were fitted for drilling which they delicately measured our hands and fingers for, even gave allowance for my nails. I ended up getting the package bundle: ball, bag and shoes. I am IN LOVE with my gold, glittery Brunswick Crown Jewel ball; she's absolutely stunning. Shoes are giving much Skechers x Adidas but are comfy, functional and honestly I ain't mad at it. Both shoes and bag are Strikeforce brand. BF ended up getting a spare ball, shoes and two ball carrier as well. Turnaround time for the balls were quick aside from mine, which they had to order but was ready by the end of the day. In conclusion, 10/10 recommend. Highly suggested to all my friends and family. Only bowling shop I'm giving business to in Vegas! Ask for Paul (I told him he looks like Geppetto from Pinocchio, with the hair and work apron lol.) and tell him Princess sent you. read more

Jon fixed my fit about a year ago and thankfully I've been able to improve my consistency in release and gain over 30 pins in my average. My husband and I live in California and we recently made the trek to Henderson to see Jon Burroughs and his awesome staff. This time, it was my husband's turn to get a new fit and we needed to have several balls plugged and redrilled over the weekend. Amazingly, with a 10am drop off (we called ahead, of course) all balls were ready to go by 2pm the next day. The new fit by Jon was excellent and my husband no longer needs to fight with irregularly drilled balls (from a different driller back at home). Now the specs are on file so a new ball may be sent by mail in the future (usually within 2-3 days of the order). Jon and his staff are well known by the pros (and those in the know) as one of the best in the Nation for quality fit, knowledge, and service. JB Bowling Supply has our highest recommendation!! read more

It's a small shop but their customer service is huge. We were helped with patience, they answered our questions without making us feel like we should know the answer. You can really tell they care and love what they do. Their prices are good. I purchased a couple of items on clearance and wasn't that expensive. They have a pretty selection on bowling items. We found everything we needed to start bowling. Will definitely come back for other bowling gear in the future. read more

My new favorite bowling store in town. Went there with a friend after getting back into bowling and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prices for balls are similar to online prices. Bought a ball 8 months ago, they drilled it, it cracked. Called them to get proof of purchase. They outright refused to help unless I paid to ship the ball back to them at my cost. They are undoubtedly doing this to try and prove that the drill had nothing to do with the crack absolving them of any responsibility. They kept saying they had no record even thought I gave them the exact date and price of the transaction. Would not provide proof of purchase after everything, just kept insisting the ball be shipped to them across the country. Avoid at all costs. They will be very friendly when you are spending money and will not help you at all if there are any hiccups down the line. EDIT: No there are no "inaccuracies" in my review business owner. You or your staff could not be bothered to help me when I asked for help. When me and my friends came in spending money every time we were helped. When I called to get a proof of purchase you outright refused to "find" the receipt even though I gave you the exact date and purchase price. The only way to even get you to respond was to one star you on yelp which is proof of the bad business you are. I no longer require your help because Motive agreed to help even though you wouldn't. I don't respond to you because you wouldn't help in the first place. You solely wanted me to ship the ball to you at my cost, find a reason to blame me instead of the drill, like your employee on the phone did, then charge me to ship the ball back. read more

We stopped in here because the yelp reviews were fantastic and we are so glad we did. We were helped by Paul and you can tell he really wants to help! He was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only did he help me choose a new ball, he took me to his lane in the back and taught me how to throw my new ball. He would not let me leave until I was consistent. It is very rare to find help like that. We ordered a ball for my husband since it wasn't in stock. They got in within a couple hours and it was drilled to perfection. Casey helped us when we came back to pick up his ball. He was just as awesome as Paul. Let us know they would take care of us if we needed anything. Very energetic and you could tell they wanted to help. Thank you all so much for your kindness and help today!! read more
