PLASTIC FIBER FOUND STUCK IN GRANOLA! ordered a bowl and noticed that a lot of the granola was stuck together. As I was breaking it apart, I saw something sticking out of a pice of granola . When I pulled it out, I realized it was a piece of dense plastic fiber. You can imagine my disgust and worry if I ate other pieces of granola with that stuff stuck inside of it .... $17 bowl I ended up throwing the whole thing away. Based on this experience, along with the many negative reviews others have shared, I do not recommend this place. read more

Today was my first time trying Nekter Juice Bar, I would have to say it was a great first experience. Super clean inside, great lively atmosphere. The service was fantastic, I expressed that it was my first time and needed to look over the menu!! There is so much amazing fresh bowls, smoothies and juices to choose from!! I used to work here not all of a few months ago. Here's some photos of what it looks like behind the counter and around the store. No one ever cleans, the manager is HORRID at her job and does not know how to run a store effectively at all, her staff she has hired to train people pick and choose what to teach. And the biggest part of all they steal from their employee, they cut hours from paychecks (even though you can check how many hours you've worked.) this place is disgusting and I would HIGHLY recommend any other nekter. read more

WARNING violently ill from green detox smoothie 7/1/25. It tasted like too much ginger but I drank the small. 4 hours later I unable to care for myself and covered in vomit. My bd yesterday so not a good one. I know it was the smoothie. Something was contaminated that made my body eliminate the toxins. read more

I want to like this place...I really do. However, each time I give it another chance it continues to disappoint. Painfully slow service (20+ minutes to wait for a smoothie is outrageous) or the POS machine is down, or they are out of product they are advertising. The last thing I can't fathom is also how they can never have an online order ready within the timeframe for the customer to collect. So we've relyed on this place for smoothies and quick lunches for my wife who works just down the road and often needs a quick to-go lunch with her schedule. We've had issues with this location being out of stock on specific ingredients before, but yesterday was the final straw. We ordered a strawberry banana protein smoothie with whey; nothing exciting, nothing exotic. The location tried to call us about 8 minutes later to say they could not make the order due to being out of stock on multiple things. As my wife was already driving over to grab her order at that point she found out once she arrived what was going on. Every substitute order she tried to come up with had ingredients out of stock. This alone is pretty poor. Then to add insult to injury, the location was not able to refund our money "since it was an online order." We had to call up customer service, get put on hold "due to larger than regular call volume" and then ultimately submitted a customer service ticket on their website to get our money back. So in the end my wife didn't end up eating lunch and we wasted at least 15 minutes trying to get our money refunded (which should have automatically been able to be done in the first place). We may me done with this location and are seriously considering taking our business to one of the other similar franchises since Nektar is charging a huge price premium but NOT delivering a premium experience, especially at this location. read more

Ordered a dragon fruit bowl - no strawberries, add PB. Upon seeing the strawberries on top, thought "ok no biggie", but clarified if the PB was in fact added. Ladies said it was added. Got home, no PB. Why lie to your customers, who also didn't make a fuss about the other parts of the order being wrong ? Shitty. Dragon fruit base was also lack luster, but the lying was really what was disappointing. read more

Ordering two smoothie bowls on a Saturday was my mistake. Took over 45 mins to get our bowls! And they were extremely rude when we asked how much longer at the 30 minute mark. We will never order here again. The staff move extremely slow and have no sense of urgency. It takes them 10-15 minutes per item minimum, I wish I was that laid back at work.. lol read more

Sooo, I wanted to like Nekter very much, especially that I heard so many good comments about their location on Frank Lloyd from my colleagues at work, but this location did not impress me at all except for maybe the first time I tried them. If you look at the pictures, they will tell you everything. My husband and I ordered about 3-4 times before we gave up. No ice, got a lot of ice. Ordered ginger shots, no ginger when we go to pick up. Ordered a turmeric shot, no turmeric either. The server had to come up with a shot of "something" to compensate! Another time, we ordered a drink that had ginger in it too, no can't make that drink because we are out of ginger. They are also out of the small shot containers so a couple of times, we got the shots in a regular sized cup. You know what is the problem here, especially with the ginger, Basha's is literally next door, they could walk to the store and buy the ginger! Not the servers problem, well, management needs to step in and need to make sure that when an order is placed on the app, the ingredients are available. Either figure out a way to grey out the drinks that should not be available or at least call the customer prior to pick up to let them know this drink cannot be made because they are missing certain ingredients. Top all this up with no masks worn. At least on the days that we picked up which was some months ago. I hope they changed that now. We would have become regulars especially during COVID and summer when all we wanted is a cold healthy drink. The ONE time that they got our order right, the drinks were perfect! read more

This is the worst Nekter I have ever been to. Not only are they constantly out of ingredients, but when they do have the ingredients, they try to use the absolute bare minimum. They literally have a grocery store in the parking lot but seem to run out of produce on the daily. Went to get the most basic strawberry banana smoothie for my son and it literally tasted like sour cream. I'm guessing they ran out of one of the ingredients but did not want to tell me. I'm giving this 5 stars only because of Alicia and the sweet girl that she works with (blanking on her name). They are always so welcoming my order is always right and I'm not waiting 30-40 mins for one juice. I wish the girls on the weekend could be consistent like them. I've had several bad experiences but Alicia goes out of her way to make things right ( even when she's not the one working) which is what I truly appreciate it. I'm not a person who frequents juice bars and smoothie places, and I'm definitely not in to things like cleanses or shots of wheat grass, but once in a while I can go for an açaí bowl. After an afternoon run, I stopped in here for lunch. The place was not crowded at all: just two other people in the shop and what seemed like a single employee. She was friendly and my order was promptly taken and created. The store was clean and my bowl tasted great. Plus, it wasn't just a bunch of stuff thrown together: the fresh apple, banana and strawberries on top were sliced and presented nicely. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have gotten a picture. I came here as I am a regular valued customer and I had order $20 worth of items I then gave the employee Vivian a $100 bill as she told me they don't accept this bill (I've paid with this before) a customer behind me over heard what had happen as I forgot another form of my payment and decided to pay for me I was so embarrassed to what had happened I will never be coming here again of how embarrassed I am . I've had nothing but bad experiences at this Nekter location. All of the employees are terrible. I've never had one that had decent customer service skills. I came in for Nurse Appreciation Day to receive a $3 smoothie because I received an email about it. The employee had no idea what I was talking about so I showed her my email and she stated she can't do it. I literally showed it to her multiple times and she just looked at me like I was an idiot. This location has poor customer service and horrible Management. I purchased two large drinks and the lid wasn't on correctly and one of my drinks spilled. I brought it to the girl's attention who prepared my drink and she accused me of not holding it correctly and refused to make me another large drink. She said I'll make you a small one instead. I asked for the manager and he was rude and argumentative. Did I mention, that was my third time that week patronizing them. I have spent a lot of money at this location and will never spend another penny. I also advised my family and friends to never patronize Nectar again. After stopping by a Nekter off Signal Butte Rd that looked like it's not opened yet (new store), we decided to go to the next closest to buy a bunch of the day cleanse coolers -- at least 6 of those, and also some açaí bowls. The map we looked it up on said "closes soon, 45 mins" which made sense, since the one I normally go to on Val Vista closes at 8 pm, and it was 7:15 min. We arrived just before 7:30 pm, and two workers came out of the back room and just shook their heads "no" at us. They looked like they were contemplating coming to the door, but then just kept shaking their heads "no". These franchise style places have terrible customer service. Had it been a small business, they would have opened the doors and made the extra sale for the day. The doors hours are ripped off of it -- doesn't show the time of closing at all, so I'm guessing they shortened their hours and hence the mix up between maps and Yelps stated hours for this place. I had to give one star because it wouldn't let me do a 1/2 star. This particular store has been the worst and keeps getting worse. I just ordered 40 dollars worth of food and drove 10 miles to pick it up and paid for it on the app. I went to open the door it's closed not open posted hours state it's open. I ordered at 9 am. It's 9 30 am. I tried to cancel the order it then said to call I did no answer. I complain because half the time the app doesn't work and when you do order it's not ready. read more

I have went to this establishment several times. One time it was 10min before they closed. I was exiting my vehicle when I saw a customer walk out and an employee lock the door. I checked my phone for the time and they still had 10min. before they closed. The next time I went, two people working. Upon entrance, I was startled when one of the employees yelled a welcome message. My body was actually startled as I was shocked by the yelling. Not what I normally experience or encounter when being welcomed in an establishment. Both workers were teenagers. I guess what can you expect. There were only two customers. They both worked on the smoothie and bowl for the first customer. However, when it came to my order - they were too busy cleaning and moving stuff to the back that I wasn't a priority. I teach class in the evening- I stopped by to grab a healthy drink for dinner. I didn't have a lot of time to waste. I was Not pleased with the customer service! Please do better! Love this place, the staff is super sweet and helpful. The juice and food is amazing as well, the place smells amazing and is super clean on top of it. I got a drink for my tattoo artist as well and he loved it too. There is not a bad thing on their menu. Just be warned they don't take bills higher then a 20 in case you go in and don't have anything smaller. The drink I got was good but being charged twice wasn't. I went in yesterday to get a gift card for my mother for Mother's Day. The girl at the front rung me up and slid my card before asking another employee for help. The other employee tells me the charge didn't go through and that she would throw the gift card away and ring me up again. Said I wasn't charged. Turns out upon looking at my bank statements I was charged for two $40 gift cards and 2 $7 smoothies. I attempted to call them today to correct their mistake. Over 10 times now and I still haven't gotten anyone to pick up. I left a message and am waiting for a response before calling my bank to dispute the charges.
