I recently visited this store in search of some replacement Laura Mercier makeup. I was excited to finally go in, as their hours are a bit tricky with my schedule. I was greeted as I initially walked through the men's department and nicely taken care of when I found the LM counter. I ended up sitting down and having a nice makeover by a sales associate that apparently travels between locations. There was always one other woman behind the counter writing down the items that she was suggesting for me. I love how bright and impeccably clean NM always appears! After I finished at the LM counter, I decided to wander around and see if I experienced anything the other reviewers had mentioned. The vibe and energy is most positive in the cosmetics and men's apparel. Riding up the escalator and walking around the women's apparel I definitely sensed the looks of "you don't belong up here" from a few of the sales associates (FYI to them I just purchased two items on line through last call-one of which is an amazing LBD for $40!!!!). I will definitely be back...in fact, they gave me a $50 off a $150 purchase that begins January 8th! ****ps. they now accept Visa and Mastercard! read more

I really do like this store, however, the men's department is very limited. I also had an experience where my fiance and I came into the shoe department looking for some shoes for her. We waited for almost 20 minutes before someone came up to us and then he was very unhelpful and we ended up going to Saks and buying her $1,500 shoes. Well I must admit I am not usually the snazzy dresser, but my sis married a millionaire and I cqan no longer come around her looking like a california beach bum or a jock. I bought a Zegna suit and Armani shirt and Cashmere sweater and I must admit I look good. The staff there is uber friendly and god I wish I can remember the mans name that helped and was very patient with me because i came back over a few motnhs before buying. Susan in the shoe department is wonderful. I went and got my first pair of very high end shoes today and she was...well as I said earlier, wonderful. I had been in this store before and was treated in a rude manner or ignored because I guess I don't dress the part. I can afford to shop here if I want, but I don't see the need to dress crazy nice to go to the mall. I met Susan a previous time and she was nice, welcoming and had a lot of information about the shoes. I have learned a lot by talking to her and I would say the store could learn a lot from her. I had the BEST experience in this store yesterday. My husband bought me a pair of Loubies for our anniversary and I had to exchange them...twice. Emmanuel, the store manager (I'm sorry, I do not recall your name!), and the other ladies in the department were so helpful and understanding and TRULY went the extra mile and bent over backwards to ensure I left with shoes that fit the way I wanted. I over-heard a man and woman in their office as I was waiting in line at customer service talk about sharing painkillers to get by all the annoying customers and employees. They exited the office, one (male) wearing a suit and the other (female) wearing a pant suit, and looked at me as if they were a deer caught in headlights. I returned my merchandise and will refuse to support a business run by two unprofessional idiots. I later spoke to the salesperson, whom I will not name, and she it's not the first time she's had to apologize for them and described them as the store managers. I'm not one to leave reviews, but this is something their company and customers should see. Corporate will be getting a letter to follow. read more

This Neiman's is the smallest that I have ever been in. The clothing is on the conservative side. I also expect a little more ambiance from an upscale department store. They could take lessons from Barney's, which feels like a modern contemporary art museum (I digress). I agree with many and most of the negative reviews!!! Walked into the store passed 4 employees on my search for a associate who can help me start a repair order, not one of them greeted me when it was obvious I was searching for help!!!!! Than got to the purse counter waited about 10 min before I was even asked if I needed help! No is it not obvious I have been standing in same spot for the last ten minutes twisting and turning my head to see if an associate was coming. The lady who was helping me was super nice but clearly super slow and needs to be retired 10 years ago!!! It took her almost another 20 min to finalize the repair process to not even tell me any estimated time for the repair!! It's now 3 weeks! With no phone call about my bag or info so I have to call them everyday to find out the status of my repair! And being told they would call me every single time! Well excuse me it's a bag over 2K that has been out of my possession for more than I want so it's only my right to call!!!! Not going back!!!! Was going to buy shoes there too, but after this ordeal NORDSTROM it is where they have a fantastic return policy!!! read more

Horrible experience. I ordered a Herve Leger dress online and a Badgley Mishka (can't spell) dress showed up which is a much lower price point. I went to the store to point out the error. Initially, they told they wouldn't refund my money ($1000 difference) which insinuates I stole the dress!!! I couldn't believe it. I've been a long-time NM shopper, spending thousands on Gucci, Burberry, Herve, Moncler, you name it. I will be spending $0 in the future. Go suck it - Neiman Marcus! Good place for Chanel handbags. Most of the sales associates have been there for years and are pretty knowledgeable about the products. I wish they had not taken out the Prada line, it was a great place to get Prada when they used to offer it there. I have been a longtime customer of Neiman Marcus. It was my favorite place around Denver to purchase designer clothes, purses and shoes. Unfortunately, due to their stringent return policy and terrible customer service, I will no longer buy anything in this (or any other NM) store again. It would never occur to me that a high-end retailer like NM would have a 30-day return policy. This is not the case with Nordstrom and many boutiques that will at least allow a store credit. I talked to the store manager and I talked to corporate. I have nothing good to say about the guy at corporate. He said to me, "customers nowadays have all the power." I said, "well apparently not." 6 months ago, their return policy was 60-days. Now, it's 30 days. My return was 45 days from purchase. My guess is that they aren't making any money and from the looks at these reviews, I can understand why. NM has lost this customer for life. read more

Sub par selection compared to what I typically expect from NM. The employees are not very helpful, and often they will insist NM does not carry a particular brand even though I am certain they do, and confirm this by asking the sales associate to look a particular item up on the computer. Also, I do not believe they pay requisite attention to all customers, just because I am young does not mean I am not looking to purchase! Perhaps my expectations are too high for a Denver-based establishment, but overall I would have to stay this store is just ok. Seriously lacking in Tom Ford products. read more

I have been a long time Neiman Marcus fan since my days of living back East. Great products, great service, amazing sales, beautiful tailoring. What can I say, you get what you pay for. So, it was only natural that when getting my newest tuxedo for my wedding that I would make the trip from Salt Lake to Denver to get kitted out. Walked in, grabbed a sales associate, picked out a tux, was measured for tailoring, paid my bill and made arrangements to come back to Denver for a final fitting a month later to ensure that all was tip top. Fast forward a month and I am up the night before prepping for the drive the next day. On my phone pops up a notification . . . You have mail! Check my inbox and I have a shipping notification from NM that my tux is on its way ... to Salt Lake. Now, let's not forget fine reader, I am driving to CO the next day to fit my tux. So, up and at em early in the morning and as I am in my car on the way to Denver with my lady I start my calling and emailing. Needless to say, I was pretty bent out of shape as I formulated a special trip out of this second fitting. Made some appointments for work, schedule some time with friends, etc but ultimately, I was coming to Denver for a final look at my new tux and to pick up some shoes and such. So I was pretty angry when I found out that I wouldn't be able to do so. On top of that, my sales lady told me to just have someone else collect my tux when it was delivered and then just go to a local tailor if anything else needed to be done. So, as one can imagine, I told her that was unacceptable and I talked to a manager, who then had me talk to another manager who I believe was the store manager who called me from the meeting he was attending in Texas. Now I was pretty bent out of shape to say the least and I was intending on letting Neimans have a firmly and strongly worded piece of my mind. But then their team got to work on the problem. They attempted to reroute my item which did not make it to the store in time as was expected. But, they found another tux in my size, had it overnighted in and had me come in on a Sat. So I get there on Sat and a salesperson, named Ermil met me, then the head of their tailoring department met me, and finally I believe the department manager met me and even bribed me and my fiance with a glass of wine. So they proceed to tell me that all the tailoring that I had done, complete with working buttons on the sleeves, would be done overnight and the tux would be ready by noon the next day. Ok, I said and I scheduled a time to come back the next day as instructed. Sunday morning rolls around and I make my way, albeit a little late, to Neimans. My tux is waiting for me as agreed and when I tried it on, it was simply perfect. So, this long winded story to say KUDOS to you Neiman Marcus and all the staff who made this solution possible. Ermil was awesome and I am saddened that I don't remember all the names of the great people who went out of their way to make a mistake a perfect experience. I used to tell my clients that I will definitely make a mistake, everyone does, but it is how I deal with that mistake that differentiates me from my competitors. Neimans, you certainly proved that you are able to make lemonade out of lemons. Thanks for the amazing experience. read more

I don't know what happened to this store from the last time I was here in December, Everyone was so kind, helpful and polite. Possibly its because I was with my husband this time, he took me to pick out my birthday gift, or maybe the bad yelp reviews? The last few times I was in this store, I was either ignored, looked down on with snippy attitudes, or just given a "look", with the exception of the older gentleman in the shoe department trying to push a pair of Jimmy Choos on me that didn't fit right, just to make a sale; everyone else said hello and smiled as we walked by in every other department. A special shoutout to Paula, who bent over backwards to help me find exactly the right birthday gift for me not just to make a sale, Neiman Marcus has a gem in Paula. It truly was an enjoyable shopping experience. The only complaint I have is that crazy insane paid parking and trying to get out of there. We were just there yesterday and it was a Sunday and pretty crowded ; but the middle one the gates weren't opening after the money was put in and really should have a security person there for issues like that. When you have wall to wall cars in all 3 rows and the gate wont open your stuck cant back up or go anywhere until the gate lifts BAD plan Cherry Creek . First hour is free who shops for just an hour? Neiman Marcus will validate parking but you have to spent $100 first , how about just getting rid of paid parking altogether??!!! read more

I love Neimans but hate this store. It has a creepy- dead vibe and the sales associates are rude. I was looking at Chanel wallets for an upcoming birthday gift and the sales associate picked up that I wasn't going to buy today and told me point blank "to come back when I'm actually ready to make a purchase" as if I was wasting her time being in the only person in there on a Saturday afternoon! This Neiman's is certainly not even close to the size as the others, but it's decent for it's size. They have a decent selection of shoes and purses, albeit very limited. There is one associate in the shoe department that is so attentive, however in the handbag boutique, I find that the sales associates are never around until you pop into the Chanel boutique. At that point, someone pops out of nowhere, and at times, they tend to 'hawk', but I've gotten over the attitude and just pick what I want and am out the door. Some downsides to this store is that they do not carry Amore Pacific anymore (they did for a short while, which is such a shame). Luckily I am out of town a lot and am able to pick up my products elsewhere. Another is that the sales associates are nonexistent in the apparel department and the shoe department always has items out of stock in my size, so I must place an order. At least the shipping is free and sent right to my door! read more

I guess I was surprised to read some less than stellar reviews about this store. My experiences, over 12 years of shopping there, have never been less than outstanding. I have gone in wearing anything from yoga outfits to a fur, and always been treated beautifully. My favorites are Randy and Noboku at the Bobbi Brown counter, Ray on fragrances, and Susan in shoes (where I have purchased one too many pairs). But really all the associates are kind to me, and helpful as well as available. They have also all been exceptionally lovely to my daughter, who was three when I first started frequenting the store. The credit card thing can be irksome, I agree. That said, I have never regretted getting the Neiman's Card because it has made me eligible for all kinds of deals, gift cards, discount "perk" cards, and invitation-only events that have lead to my landing some major league deals. In short, taking the time to get to know the staff, and letting them know of my interests, and treating them as nicely as they treat me, I have become a customer for life. I do understand that not everyone has had the same experience, so I hope Neiman's has taken steps to rectify the cases where customers are "profiled". I have talked to the manager, Crystal, several times, and she always is very open to feedback, and takes immediate action. My only constructive feedback would be that I wish this Neiman's offered the same range as the stores in other states where a hair salon, restaurant, and children's department are common. read more
