I have been to this Neiman Marcus on a few other occasions and encountered snooty sales associates. I am on the younger side for this area's 'typical' clientèle, but on all occasions enter the store well-dressed and typically in designer accessories / shoes. Still, in the past I have encountered sales people who made it clear that I didn't 'belong'. Tonight, however, I was touched by the service I received from two associates and wanted to make note of it. The first was Emmanuel in women's shoes. I needed to try on a pair of Christian Louboutin heels for my upcoming wedding in April. Despite being busy, and the only associate on the floor, he was genuine and more than happy to help me try multiple sizes of the same style of shoe. Although the size I needed wasn't in stock, he told me he'd be happy to help me order a pair from another store if necessary. When spending close to $1000 on a pair of shoes, this is how you want to be treated as a customer. I also walked through the Chanel section on my way out, and the gentleman working there asked if he could help me - I mentioned that I was just 'admiring' the Boy bags, since it is currently a 'someday' purchase for me at $5500. He still took the time to show me a bag and let try it over my shoulder. I've shopped in Chanel boutiques in Asia, the U.K., and even at the store on Rue Cambon, and the level of service I received from him was just as exceptional (minus the complimentary Champagne). I left NM empty-handed tonight, but utterly impressed with the attentive, personal, and genuine service - and plan to come back to purchase in the future, particularly as they are currently the only stockists of Louboutin and Chanel in Colorado. read more

We all know the weather is changing... so I figured why not roll with the changes and find some nice boots that will keep my feet toasty in the snow. I finally found a pair that are in between pansy dress "boots" and rugged trudging around in slush boots. When I bought them I asked the lady what the return policy was, she said "Just bring them back"... oh ok so the same as Nordstroms. She said yes begrudgingly. After wearing them for a few days I went back to return them since they ran a bit narrow. What does the manager tell me, "I will do it this once but we cannot accept worn shoes" What Nordstroms would never give me this kind of lip. read more

So I went in to the gift gallery and found an awesome pillow and needed three more. So Kate spent an hour calling 10 other stores around the country to get the pillows shipped to me. She also helped me find a local designer for my home! I don't know if this is normal for rich people, but I now frequent Neimans! read more

I grew up going to Neiman's with my mom and was really excited to move to a state where they had one. Sadly, I found my experiences here have been fairly lackluster. I have money to spend, but don't dress to impress and feel that I am often ignored or given an offhand "let me know if you need help" because of it. They remind me of the Saks resort stores, where it is focused more on smaller volume, higher end inventory. There are some wonderful employees here, I just don't think the bulk of their staff understands that there is a younger generation that does not feel the need to wear heels, fur and their best jewelry to get attention from a sales associate. I will be back to Neiman Marcus, probably even this week, But it will be when I can't find what I'm looking for elsewhere, rather than my first stop shop. read more

Worst customer service ever. I will never shop at this store again. The store is like you have entered the twilight zone. All the employees are rude. I will shop at Nordstoms from now on. read more

This is one of those places I think you either love or hate. For me I think it's more based on customer service and the vibe I receive. As I walked around perusing all the high end clothes way over priced I was not greeted instead I received glares from multiple ladies working there like I didn't belong there. I think Neiman Marcus needs to train their staff about the world we're in. We are in a world where everyone is working, even those that didn't have to work 5 years ago are working now. Neiman Marcus needs to cater to the working woman because lets face it we are a working women these days and if you want to make the best of the money I have you need make sure you are pleasant and welcoming to me. A small piece of advice from me to the high end clothing chain! read more

I must say I'm not impressed with this company as a whole. I think their customer service mission is off. My husband and I never really shop here on a regular basis but thought we would go in to look around. We actually did end up finding something we wanted to buy and proceeded to check out. Apparently this company is too snooty to find use in customers who carry Discover, Visa, and Mastercard. Even though we had all three available for use, only American Express is accepted. The person assisting us promptly told us we would have to purchase a mall gift card for an amount over what we were spending (the mall only sold gift cards in certain increments) and the store would refund us the money. ????? She walked us to the door and pointed out the place to purchase such a gift card and went back to her station. If a company is focused on making money, then it might be advisable to take it when it is offered. We left the mall without ever purchasing a gift card and without ever going back into Neiman Marcus. They lost my business. read more

I primarily cut through here to enter the mall. It's a NM, so pricey and high end. I can't say I've ever purchased anything from here but some of their men's sale items seem to be good deals. $39 for a cashmere sweater marked down from $250? I should probably go get a couple for my husband. read more

Neiman Marcus - Mama want - Shoe Stores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

I'm always amazed at how difficult it is to get a sales rep in contemporary to acknowledge me. It seems that no matter how well-dressed I am or how friendly (or unfriendly - tried that, too) I act, they won't pay any attention to me. And it doesn't stop at contemporary! Walk through any other department and the sales people will eye you with disgust and volunteer "looks like you're in the wrong department - where are you trying to go?" in an attempt to quietly rid themselves of you. No to mention that they only accept American Express or Neiman Marcus cards, which they don't tell you until you've spent hours wandering around the store, trying to find your size - on your own, with no assistance! read more

Frequent customer of Neiman's and I've never had the privilege to be helped by Joanna Turynska until today. She was more than attentive and provided superb customer service. She assisted in finding the perfect shoe. Her style and taste are beyond fabulous! Her personality is so welcoming and warm. She is my new favorite sales associate there. read more

There is no way you can't give this place a 10 star rating unless you got bad customer service, which i highly doubt, since every nice service rep in this store caters to you! Don't be paranoid about shopping or even looking around in this store. Yes its very expensive, but it doesn't mean your forced to buy something in here? You can look and get ideas to how to dress? Coming to this store isn't just for buying, its to see whats in style, how to dress, asking for help how to dress and getting home decor ideas. Lots of people don't go into this store because of the PRICES and BOOUCHEY atmosphere, don't let that deter you from coming in. GO INSIDE! No one is going to turn their nose up. I love it here! Everything is so delicately placed, clean, spacious, and so inviting. Yes. its expensive, but the quality of buying one piece will last a lifetime. Buy one piece here, it will last 5x's longer than buying a piece at Target. Yes, we're in a bad economy but, you can go to Forever XXI 10x's within 6 months and spend the same amount ONCE within 6 months with the same timeless clothing pieces. Keeps you from going shopping every month. Just splurge once. Unless you make good money. Suggestion: If you're trying to find your style, try their Personal Stylist. They will help you find your true self. It's affordable. You don't have to buy their clothes, but they can show you how to manipulate your wardrobe to look like a million bux. In all a million stars... read more

Terrible service. So terrible that I will be returning the item I purchased in Denver at a store in SF, and rebuy it so that the Denver sales rep doesn't receive commission for it. He definitely did not provide the service expected from a high end retailer like this. Most of the sales associates in that store behaved like they were too good to be dealing with customers. Will also post my experience on social media, notify the store manager, and request that the Neiman executives retrain the sales team for this entire store. The ladies in the Chanel store and the Asian lady in the shoes section were nice - they can skip the training. read more

One of my favorite stores!! I wish they carried more styles for the Christian Louboutins, but thats my only complaint. Sales associates have always been friendly to me. read more

I normally don't shop this over-priced chain store, but when my hubby and I were shopping for my wedding ring, our search led us to Neiman's for the ring we wanted. There were very few places that carried the one and brand we were looking for and Neiman's actually was listed. So we tried there and it turned out that they had the ring, with better quality diamonds for the lowest price of all the other places we had tried! We were shocked!! First of all we didn't even know they did fine jewelry, but they do....they have some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Neiman's said they could order the ring, custom sized to fit my tiny finger with the exact grade/clarity/quality of diamonds that we wanted. It would take 3 weeks....perfect!! The only bad thing was that we had planned to charge it on one of our existing credit cards for a zero percent interest...but they don't take other credit cards!! We had to apply and get approved for a Neiman Marcus charge account, but with the zero percent interest only for 6 months. That sucked because we had to pay it off quicker than anticipated because of the interest rate, but on the plus side, now I have a Neiman Marcus charge card at a store that sells Prada and Manolo Blahniks....my hubby should be very scared! :-) read more

They are by far such a wonderful establishment! Sandy, you're an absolute angel and have made our shopping experience better than ever. We'll be back to see you, since you are so kind to us. The clothes may be expectedly expensive and pricey, but the service here is awesome. Some, actually all the clothes here is ranging from 1,000 to 55,000. Apparently to my friend whom has also joined me shopping, felt these prices are not so bad as well. The store definitely lovely and keep you feeling beautiful just walking in. I thought these clothes were extremely out of my budget landing, however too gorgeous nonetheless. This store has also lots of other brands inside of it that make the whole store complete and awesome: Michael Kors, and anyhow make it to be inside the list of hottest apparel. read more

Came in several months ago to sample, and sniff out a few Creed fragrances. I wanted to get some idea of the ones my husband and I might like. My first trip there was with a rude, pushy woman who acted like I was the scum of the earth to her! So I decided I was out of there... For the moment anyway! I stopped back in a few months after that, since my husband and I had some shopping to do at the mall... When we walked in I was apprehensive because of my experience with the rude woman, a wave of relief washed over me when I saw a man at the counter! He was so polite in greeting us, said his name was Patrick, and asked how he could help us. My husband and I proceeded to spray and sniff so many Creeds that Patrick got out a huge stack of the sample papers for us! I told him the notes I adored, and ones I try to stay away from. He recommended some fragrances :) Ultimately I chose the Royal Oud, and my husband sprayed Aventus on one wrist, and Original Santal on the other. He chose Aventus... We walked out happy with our experience, and our purchase! We still had more shopping to do though... We were walking around the mall and my husband and I kept smelling the wrist that the Original Santal was sprayed on, and we kept loving it more, and more as the time passed! My husband said I can't leave without buying this one too! So we made our way back to the store, and Patrick was standing there and my husband said "Damn you!" Looking at Patrick, and he said "Oh no! What did I do?!" And my husband told him the Santal smelt so good that he needed a bottle of that too! The next time we need some Creed I will definitely be paying Patrick a visit! Thanks a million Patrick! :) read more

Usually when I go there (dress up or dress down) I get ignored. However, last night I walked into the store half an hour before they closed. Everyone was super nice and helpful since they didn't have many customers. I was especially touched by a gentleman who was helping me with picking up a Christmas gift for my dad. I was debating between two options and he said to me, "I have two daughters and I would be happy with whatever my little girls get me." Awww. I decided to go with my instinct and he said my dad would be very pleased. Even though the store was already closed, he was patient and took my purchase to be gift-wrapped. Overall, I am very impressed with this shopping experience. It's nice to know that you don't have to wear Chanel or fur coat to get good services. read more

I was intrigued by the all-in-one cases at the Nordstrom Bobbi Brown counter, but they were short-handed and the girl (who was from another line) was frantically opening every single counter in search of cover up. I got tired of waiting and decided to go to Nieman's where they also have that pricy, but awesome line of cosmetics. The Nieman's BB salesgirl was very helpful, sought out the color I had asked for, sold me a couple of the compacts for my gym bag and I was pleased with their service. The American Express, Nieman's card, or check is a little irritating, but just remember that before you go in. I'm a little leery of any other departments in this spendy spot, but the Bobbi Brown counter is all right with me. read more

I have never been treated so poorly as a customer at such an upscale store like Neiman Marcus. I have been a customer here for several years, spent well over $70k over the past 5 years on Chanel, Chloe, Valentino, Moncler and David Yurman and they still offer an experience that will leave you feeling humiliated, judged and completely not valued as a customer. I had requested to cancel my NM charge when I finally had enough of their poor customer service and they were more than happy to do that, but not help a good customer with a defective Chanel bag. I had told a manager they just lost a very good customer and really didn't seem to care one bit. On top of this the store is incredibly dated and poorly organized. Do yourself a favor and shop someplace else. read more

This Neiman Marcus is small and has a limited supply of purses and clothes. The sales staff was helpful enough, however, not nearly as nice as the staff in Nordstrom (not a shocker). Expensive! My friends and I call it "Needless Markup" for a reason. I'll stick to Nordstrom. read more

I went cherry creek one today. I give them 5star because I met best sales man in chanel cosmatic section. His name is Sean! Who is very friendly and professional makeup artist. The service in fine jewelry was outstanding. Private room, bottle of water, more than fair discount. Follow up with satisfaction. They live up to their long standing reputation. In clothing, as soon as you can locate a service person, you will be very well cared for. Always high quality. read more

Too bad you have to even give a star! Worst customer service ever!!! They must be the only store on the planet who keeps no digital records of any purchase and cannot find anything unless you have the specific item number and receipt. Wanted to exchange something... the answer is a flat no, sorry, we won't help you. If I were at Nordstrom's, the exchange would already have been done and I would have been buying some more items. Don't worry though, at Neiman Marcus they take the time to be rude and snobby. Avoid at all costs! You can get everything they sell at another store in the mall. read more

This review is regarding Ray in the cosmetics / fragrance dept. Ray is the BEST! He is sooooo knowledgable about ffragrances and the products he carries (as well as others!) I will not go anywehere else for fragrances for myself and my wife. We have "discovered" many fragrances that you just wont find in Macy's etc... Ray is always willing to provide a sample of something if you are not sure how it will react to you body after wearing it all day. When you are in the market for a new fragrance, see Ray - you will not regret it!! read more

Typically my least favorite store within Cherry Creek Mall. Today, however, I experienced a totally unexpected vibe... Good energy and authenticity from several of their staff. I don't know why other reviewers are down on this store. From my experience, the sales people who work in makeup, bags, and women's apparel are very helpful and responsive. I bought a bag here and had to return it twice because the handle broke; each time they gave me a brand new bag, no questions asked. They were also very patient while I waffled back and forth on which bag to purchase (because the second time I didn't want an identical bag that was just going to break a 3rd time due to a manufacturer's defect I assume). Also, their handbag and makeup assortment is excellent and the physical space on the first floor is beautiful. I agree with another reviewer who says that the contemporary women's clothing is better at Sak's. I also agree that the whole "we don't take Visa" thing is a bit annoying. It's also illogical from the perspective of a retailer because American Express charges merchants higher rates than do all other credit cards. I guess it's part of the whole premium branding thing. read more

Always been treated well, no matter how I was dressed. Always greeted to as soon as I walk in, I like being left alone while browsing and they will oblige. read more

I hate this store. The sales associates are so rude and indifferent. I actually feel uncomfortable stepping foot in here. I have been to NM in other cities and the associates are wonderful. I don't understand what the deal is with the Denver store, but I think my last trip there will be my last year ever. Makes me really miss Saks. read more

What a waste of space this place is. I like to avoid big department stores, but a few years back when I crossed by a sweater at Neiman's that I really liked (I was on my way to their really nice bathrooms) I thought I'd splurge and get it. Apparently though, my low-life Visa debit card was no good to them. Amex, check, or a Neiman's card, that's it, and that's bullsh*t. I'm sad to this day that I actually broke down and went through the moronic exercise of purchasing a mall gift card for the exact amount of the sweater. It's pathetic when the only redeeming part of a store is it's opulent bathrooms. read more

I'm truly disappointed in Neiman Marcus these days. The customer service desk at the retail location in Cherry Creek is mediocre, and the online shopping and customer support is the worst I've ever experienced. The one bright light of the Cherry Creek location is the Chanel Dept. As someone who well remembers visiting the Neiman Marcus flagship store in Dallas as a child, the once considered "gold standard" company is no longer recognizable. read more

Like numerous other reviews have noted, the staff is beyond rude. Literally will look you up-and-down with obvious disgust. I even had one of the women roll her eyes at me this evening when I asked if they had a $500 shirt I was interested in another size... I ended up finding something I wanted to buy, went up to the cashier to pay for it, and she responds in a snotty, too-cool-for-school tone asking me, "and how do you plan on paying for this..." SERIOUSLY? You're probably making $10 an hour with minimal commission bonuses and you have the nerve to act like I can't afford something in the holier-than-thou Neiman Marcus? Going forward, I'll find what I want through the Saks website. read more

Few times I've walked into this store location always no one is around to assist you. Hands down the worse customer service & snotty sales associates. They stare you down and not a very friendly environment. I'm surprised they are still in business...high end products, shitty service...NO THANKS! Perhaps they need to get some tips from Nordstrom...hands down my BEST go to place to shop. read more

Every time I visit the store, I've never been greeted by any sales associates. They always just look at you, judge on your looks, and just ignore. Worst is the customer service desk. This old lady there was rude and not helpful at all. Isn't the whole point of customer service desk to be informative and helpful to the customers? I went to go exchange a make up product to different color and maybe its because I didn't buy a five thousand dollar bag, she didn't really care about my need. I felt like she was being rude intentionally because I'm young and don't have nice clothes on. At the end, I said thank you and she just ignored me. Worst customer service I've ever received. I do not recommend this department store to anyone. read more

No one said hi to me except the black guy and Latin woman. Everyone else made me feel like I wasn't that important. Total disappointment when I was looking for a pretty expensive gift I got turned off by everyone's attitude. Maybe because I wasn't the same color as them, all they did was look at me like I was going to shoplift or something. Dam it's 2018, get it together and stop stereotyping. read more

I have been a customer of Neiman Marcus since the 80s, when I grew up in Texas. The days when the motto " the customer is always right " has long past. I have never experienced such disdain from annoyed customer service personnel as well as sales associates on the floor as when I had an issue and wanted to return a gift I had purchased for my husband. I have read some folks have had excellent experiences ~ they should appreciate the fact that they are the exception. The store cannot have a future with its total faux veneer of customer interest and transparent focus on the bottom-line. I don't know what management style is being relayed from on high these days, but it starts there, and it can't be good based in the attitudes of the staff. Why spend money somewhere when the customer service attitude is so disdainful and spotty? I'd rather shop where I am consistently treated as someone willing to pay for quality and someone who expects to be treated well for it. Seems like a very fair exchange. read more

Neiman Marcus is always a good bet to find some quality merchandise. Maybe I "look rich" or carry myself a certain way but I always seemed to have good service in higher-end stores like Neimans and the like. For me, I always seem to ask the sales associates multiple questions and approach them like a gentlemen and usually it's a reciprocal experience. This store isn't a mammoth sized Neimans but just enough for the Denver market. For the men's area there various designers you can choose from Giorgio Armani, Loro Piana, Zegna, etc. I'm not too sure about the women's area but I've seen Chanel, Prada, and much more. Prices will of course match the Neiman's reputation so if your put off by high-dollar, high-service, and style you might be put off by this. The other day I bought a Gucci bag here and the Sales Associate in the Men's area went above and beyond what I expected. I was debating between various Gucci bags so Byron gave me the freedom to inspect, ask questions, and also offered that if I needed anything else not carried in the store it can be delivered to the store or to my home. I mostly use my Gucci bags for traveling so they can get abused thru the TSA, hotels, airports, etc. I settled on my perfect bag and I was allowed to look thru the Gucci belts, wallets, or other accessories and I had a great experience. My package was boxed, wrapped, and presented in those sturdy Neiman's bag and I was happy out the door. I'll be back for sure. read more

I recently visited this store in search of some replacement Laura Mercier makeup. I was excited to finally go in, as their hours are a bit tricky with my schedule. I was greeted as I initially walked through the men's department and nicely taken care of when I found the LM counter. I ended up sitting down and having a nice makeover by a sales associate that apparently travels between locations. There was always one other woman behind the counter writing down the items that she was suggesting for me. I love how bright and impeccably clean NM always appears! After I finished at the LM counter, I decided to wander around and see if I experienced anything the other reviewers had mentioned. The vibe and energy is most positive in the cosmetics and men's apparel. Riding up the escalator and walking around the women's apparel I definitely sensed the looks of "you don't belong up here" from a few of the sales associates (FYI to them I just purchased two items on line through last call-one of which is an amazing LBD for $40!!!!). I will definitely be back...in fact, they gave me a $50 off a $150 purchase that begins January 8th! ****ps. they now accept Visa and Mastercard! read more
