After spending too much for ill-fitting pants at another store which will not be named, we decided it was worth the trek down to Cherry Creek to get my husband fitted something more flattering. The salesperson did the measurements and asked about preferred fit. A few minutes later, my husband was trying on a pair of mass-produced pants that fit him like they were made for him. Pretty impressive, am I right? We placed an order for the same pants in our (my) preferred color, and they showed up a few days later. My husband loved them so much he went on an online shopping spree last night and ordered the same pants in several different colors. Word has it that a Bonobos is opening up in Boulder soon, which we're really excited about!

He may just have been having an off day, but still I wasn't happy with the mistake. I called in to discuss the error and the associate who answered the phone tried to make the error right, but didn't have the authority. She was super polite and it was clear she wasn't going to let the error go until it was made right by me. She offered to escalate to her manager. Less than 5 minutes after that call I get a call from Rudi who went above and beyond to make things right. The clothes are fine, but it's getting the type of exceptional care that Rudi and her associate provided which make for repeat business. Definitely be shopping with Peter Millar again. Frankly it fit like a men's suit. I am a woman. Chalk marks everywhere on the back from where the poor person who made it marked the fabric. This is appalling. I would be ashamed to present this to a client. I need alterations. I work a M-F job in a corporate/professional setting. I also love very far away and need a weekend time to come in. They were able to measure me on a weekend. But not alter me. Weird. There's zero way I can make an appointment during the week to get alterations done within their window of included alterations. Customer service is only Monday to Friday 7am-1pm pacific time. Excuse me. There are so few places that carry decent suiting for women, and even less who do MTM. I went on the suggestion of my husband. I saw some shoddy work on his jacket but I was desperate. Would rather off the rack from Macys than this.

The staff at Icon debated with each other about the tiniest of alterations until consensus was reached, and made you feel a part of the process and ownership over the suit. As a side story, while I was there, a man came in with an appointment to get his wedding suit. The staff did not laugh him off. They told him that unfortunately, their suits started around $1000.
