The Goyard Boutique Client nightmare I've never in my 20 years of shopping luxury brands experienced discrimination and defamation of character until I was waited on by sales rep Joie. Joie was very condescending and aggressive. I came in to purchase my 3rd St. Louis PM Tote, I was publicity embarrassed by being accused of carrying a fake Goyard. I did not visit the boutique to have my personal bag authenticated. Joie verbally told her other guest my bag was Not Goyard. Which is was not true my bag is authentic and was given to me for Christmas as a gift from my mother. I ignored her ignorance, that must of upset Joie because she than began to interrogate me in front of the entire store asking "where did you get your bag?" When? I asked Joie why is she questioning my bag and being a loyal Goyard client I'm familiar with the exclusivity as to where authentic Goyard goods are sold, so why did Joie feel the need to aggressively antagonize me. I felt bullied and I felt humiliated. I was at a loss for words. I than ask to speak with management in regards to Joie offensive behavior. Andrea the manager was kind and apologetic, but it did not justify the humiliation I was put through as a guest in the boutique. I am seeking legal consultation and sharing my experience on every review form I can reach. Joie's behavior was unacceptable, I sent an email to corporate and have yet to hear back, very saddened by recent trip, I am not a fan of Goyard Beverly Hills. read more

I purchased 2 McQueen men's necklaces. 1 at Neiman's the other direct. Both broke within months. One fell off my neck on the sidewalk in NYC, the other the "stone" fell out in 2 weeks. But here's the best part: Over $1100 and 30 days of waiting later, McQueen informed me officiously that their "Italian designers" had determined from an iPhone photograph that the one I bought from them (where the fake black gem basically was glued with eyelash glue to a cheap setting) would be replaced. After I FedEx it to Italy, it is approved, etc. The one I bought from Neiman's, they claim no responsibility for. No apology. No acknowledgement. And Neiman Marcus over the phone just had a supervisor tell me over the phone, verbatim, get ready for it: "We understand you want to do something, but you can't. Sorry." I have pieces at this price point from LV, Gucci, etc. that have lasted decades and been fixed or replaced immediately. McQueen is not a fashion house. It's a corporate entity that eats your money. And Neiman Marcus is a dying shitshow whose customer service is excelled by McDonald's. Do not waste your money, which most of us don't have, to be told yeah maybe we'll get you a replacement in 6 months. Or to buy from a department store that takes zero responsibility for their vendors' quality. Oh, after 30 days of course. Bye Neiman's! You were Barney's and Saks for trashy people in your best days. I have been a loyal customer of Neiman Marcus for years. I have time and again received great service at this store which is one of the main reasons I shop there. But to my surprise, on the date of October 17, 2018, I was at the receiving end of some very poor service at Neiman Marcus. On the said date, I was searching for a gift for my husband, and headed towards the men's wallet area. The person standing at the counter did not approach nor greeted me, who was wearing the name tag of Marc, was taking on his cell phone. After 10 minutes, I asked him to see a wallet inside the case, he pulled the wallet out, then he resumed his conversation on the phone. After a good 15 minutes, Marc finally started talking to me but in a very rude manner. Marc spoke to me like a child, he speak voice very slowly. The wallet I like was more than I expected, so I asked him to find me another style for lower price. Instead, he talked to me very rudely again, and told me that if I did not like the prices, I could take my business elsewhere. I was appalled at such behavior, and have a good mind to take my business elsewhere as suggested. Neiman Marcus has been known to provide good services, and such events like this tarnish the company name! read more

My favorite store to shop at for anything and everything! Let me start by saying that the shoe department is my favorite because they carry all my favorite shoe designers and have a great selection of them all (my fav: Manolo, Chanel, Louboutin, Miu Miu) they also carry like 100 more brands so if you need a special occasion shoe or a pair of flats for everyday wear, this is your place Madame! But be sure to ask for the most amazing sales person in shoes: Aristo! He is your man! Promise. He will help you get what you want and in your size. He is amazing and he has really good taste so if you need a second opinion, he's the one to ask ;) Now for clothing, the store carries every high quality brand. And they always have the latest fashion items on display! They have sales 2x a year and its always fun shopping there! Large denim selection I haven't even got to the best part yet... 3rd floor has a bar! Go grab a chocolate express martini. You will thank me :). They have awesome salads here as we'll Hungry? The cafe on 2nd floor has great options. My favorite is the love salad or tuna sandwich. The tomato soup is good too! read more

Heard great things about this company and the customer service decided to see what they are all about. So I ordered a gift online with Neiman Marcus and selected same day delivery because the person I was buying it for was leaving that evening for the holidays. Never received what I ordered was given every excuse in the book for why it wasn't delivered.Heard 3 different stories from 3 different employees about where the package was who had it etc etc. One lady I talked to aid it was already delivered. They blamed Fedex and some other courier service for everything even though I ordered it from them. The chat customer service was horrendous. They had no idea about anything. I called the 888 number they have listed and not one person could explain why I didn't recieve the gift that I ordered. Not a manager nobody not one person could explain anything. This was the first and will be the last time I use this company. I have had better service at a Walmart..... read more

Comment: As a former employee I am getting ready to sue it NM for allowing a CEO to sexually harass a group of employees at a Million Dollar dinner in California 2023. It transpires they were investigating his behavior back in 2000 and yet failed to protect their employees. I'm giving Neiman 2 stars but know that I still shop there. Frequently. The low rating is because about 3 years ago something changed with their design and quality. I'm not sure if you remember but it used to be really difficult to find a good sale at Neiman because they didn't have to have them! I have some Neiman pants that I've had since high school--but their newest lines I've had quality issues with. Also, you have to accept the fact that Neiman vanity sizing is out of control. I size down at least 1 and sometimes 2 sizes. The last thing I'll note is the suiting I recently ordered--don't waste your time. I cried when it arrived because it was unlined and so thin it was nearly see through and simply not appropriate for a professional work environnment. read more

Poor service and staff that simply does not care or have given up. Bought glassware for my new bar and wanted to return because one of the glasses broke. Sales person first told me that my receipt was incorrect, then told me to go to a different department, then could not find a replacement and then eventually exchanged my glassware after I told her that I was getting irritated and wanted to see a manager. Most sales people don't smile, totally indifferent towards customers, don't know the products or even care to know. In SF they get it and other parts of US a much different story but in BH - these people all need to be fired including the manager that runs the store. While the merchandise at Neiman Marcus is a bit out of my budget/price range, I love to eat lunch at the cafe. I've been eating at the cafe ever since I was a little girl, and I've always loved it. While most restaurants change their menu (and somehow always get rid of my favorite menu items), Neiman Marcus has the distinction of keeping the same signature menu items. The chicken broth and pop-over with strawberry butter is always served before the meal, which is light and delicious. I always order my favorite dish, the orange souffle. It is served with chicken salad w/ almonds, banana nut bread w/ poppy seed dressing, and fresh fruit. It's a delightful tradition that I hope I can share with my children someday (if I have children that is)... read more

I frequently visit Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills for all my fashion needs. I have been endlessly searching for unique jewelry to add to my collection, and nothing really grabbed me as unique until now. There's a new designer in town, and I love her work. Its edgy, yet sophisticated. I am totally excited and impressed, and that's rare for me. New York designer Catherine Angiel, is their new addition to Neiman Marcus, and a breath of fresh air. I want everything in the case. I am coveting a silver pearl diamond spider bracelet, and an absolutely beautiful black diamond ring. I went into this store because I had never been to one before and I liked what I saw from the entrance. It was a little late; the mall was getting ready to close in like half an hour so there wasn't that many people around. Well, I decided to go inside and look around because it looked like there were some things in there my wife might like. But as soon as I walked in, I was followed by one of the sales associates. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I left after about ten minutes of being followed. I would recommend that this store train their staff to work on their customer service skills. I did not have a pleasant experience the last time I was here. I had just walked into the store with my brother and was instantly followed. The whole shopping trip the sales lady kept following me around, even after I kept meeeting her gaze to let he know I knew she was following us. Honestly, it just made me feel really uncomfortable and like a criminal. I ended up leaving after ten minutes of being followed around. I would recommend training your staff better, because the clientele who usually shops here won't put up with being treated and singled out like that. read more

Even though tailoring is included with a new suit, I would advise bringing your garment to an off-site tailor. I live in the South Bay and have brought my NM suits to Matucci Tailors in Redondo Beach. My fiancé surprised me with a nude pebbled calfskin Givenchy handbag today! We had visited earlier and I couldn't help but admire the look and feel of the bag. I held in in my hand, placed it on my shoulder while I looked in the mirror. I really loved it but the price tag was higher than I expected it to be. Great store with a lot of selection. The cologne and perfume selection is amazing and I always buy my wife gifts from this amazing store. If she wants pearls I get her pearls if she wants diamonds I get her diamonds my wife is always happy and thank you Neiman Marcus for that. The valet is easy and efficient and everybody is so kind. I come in and dressing like a hobo but I get VIP treatment every time and that says a lot. read more

I mainly shop at the cosmetic counters here but they are amazing! They carry a wide range of high end products and the sales staff is always really friendly. Anytime I come here I can always find what I'm looking for as they are rarely out of stock. I do wish that they carried more cruelty free products, hence the four stars.
