I love this store. You can get a facial, have a martini and shop in a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere.

I love a good department store but they are few and far between. Neiman Marcus is a gem. It's big but not too big. It's a class act. They have nice hats and a great shoe department as well. They even have those cute little purses that look like things. The contemporary section has a lot to choose from as well and the salespeople are extremely helpful. I also really like their lingerie department. There's a parking lot and they validate parking which makes it really convenient to shop here. They also give you nice rewards for shopping with your card. The only bad thing about this store is that the stuff can be expensive...but, even when I can't afford it, it's fun to look at the stuff and there's always something affordable if you look for it. read more

I've always had a great experience at the Neiman Marcus in Bev Hills. Granted I end up spending way more money than I should but the sales associates in every department have been very helpful. My favorite person here is Justin, and he works at the Shu Uemura counter. Super friendly and always gives me a makeup session even without an appointment. The sales staff was very kind and friendly to me even though I'd walked in that day wearing a ghetto army green parka, hole-y jeans and a Jansport backpack. That meant the world to me. I purchased one short and one long dress by Oscar de la Renta, and both required intense alteration work. Everything feels better at Neiman Marcus! I have to say, after being enamored with BH my entire life and finally getting to go, this store did not disappoint. I specifically went there to buy my first Balenciaga bag and wanted it to be an especially memorable purchase. I could have gone to our NM here in SF but I was looking for an experience. So, I walked in and parused the bags for a moment and then Ingrid walked up, smiling and happy, letting me take my time and try on every color imaginable before deciding on the right one. Excellent customer service and an excellent exchange policy. Especially wonderful women to assist you in lingerie, at the Donna Karan shop, at the Escandar shop, and Ralph Lauren. The assistants everywhere are wonderful, but they must be extra special in those places because those are the shops that always get all our money. Prada handbags, too: we always have fun in there. The shoe guys are lovely, of course, and NM has truly the very best selection of shoes (their Rene Caovilla selection is maybe the best in the country). But the real reason to shop at Neiman's is the overall customer service & return policy. Did you buy $600 moisturizer that it turned out was totally sticky and made little worms on your face by the afternoon? Don't worry -- they're not going to be mean to you if you try to take it back. Does the grapefruit perfume your brother bought you for your birthday make you smell like you have BO? No problem! We'll just exchange that for you right away. There are so few places these days that even try to pretend like they value the customer: it's nice to have Neiman's. (Also: eat lunch at Magnolia, the restaurant downstairs. Neimans has remodeled. The cosmetics are now downstairs with no natural light and the jewelry dept. is right by the front door, uh? So we went to Mariposa for lunch. I have to say the food has changed for the worse. Three of us had different salads and each dressing tasted like pure vinegar. Not a herb in sight. Very expensive! The restaurant decor reminds me of Vegas. Tacky. I felt like I was sitting next to the casino except instead of watching gamblers,you are watching women putting on make up while you eat. This review is particularly for Prada. I called regarding if they have a certain purse, they said they do and will "hold" onto it for me. I arrive that same day and the same person I talked on the phone with was assisting me but told me the display purse is all they have. I didn't drive all the way there to buy a bag that was for display. I was actually considering buying it until I found a defect. The leather on the strap was detached or should I say missing a piece as if it was torn off. client advisor was trying to persuade me that's "normal". I showed her another display bag with the strap and she had nothing else so say but "what can we do that's all we have". Lol anyway I went to south coast plaza and bought my new bag. Thank god I didn't purchase anything here. They are rude and make you feel uncomfortable. Client advisors should not tell people they will put a bag on "hold" and try to sell a display bag. They have ruined my credit. I will never ever suggest anyone to get to their trap for no interest no payment for six months credit card options. I had an excellent credit, never sent me a bill . After talking to them today they said we send you email alert. The purchase a bag and they asked me to apply for no interest no payment for six months . I usually do not use any credit card. The offered was tempted so I got approved. Never received any bill from them. Actually the balance is zero. But I found out that I had a late payment on my credit report. When I called them today ,they treated me very badly and said the late payment was for November period. When I discussed the no payment issue the person on the line yelled and said we sent you the email alerts. Very disappointing ,Any company communicate with the customer before they send a late payment to the credit company . I will never ever buy at NM again in my life. read more

This Store has the best selection of shoes, and the service is really good especially for it being located in Beverly Hills where some places you can easily be ignored or not treated well by sales people. Jill in ladies shoes, is a wonderful and nice person who was beyond helpful and treated me like I was a queen . I usually go out in public very dressed down, with little to no makeup and I feel that when I walked into the Saks next door, I was instantly being given dirty looks, and eye rolls by the sales people , so of course I left and went next door to Neimans and had the opposite reaction. Purchased two pairs of earrings online. Neiman Marcus sent the wrong pair. To correct their mistake they charged my card twice plus charged me $25 to reship. They have the worse customer service. This was after I clearly informed them that I will not authorize them to charge anything to my credit card to correct their mistake. The customer service representative and the customer service manager did not know what were doing. Items posted on their online store clearly was a misrepresentation of what they sent. The customer service representative had a difficult time finding the correct item as shown on my original order. Never again will I order from them. Neiman Marcus is one of my favorite high end department stores. Their selection and the way their floor is set up is second to none. This location in the center of Beverly Hills has always been a go to for high end items. Their validated free parking is a nice perk, especially since the closest Beverly Hills lot is a few blocks away. However, my last visit left me with a serious bad taste. Like several other reviews before me, the customer service here has made a turn for the worse. I went in dressed in a linen shirt, jeans and a pair of SeeVees. I walked to the top floor, which by the way was under construction and looked for my item. Unlike Nordstroms where someone will most always come up and ask if they can be of service, Neiman Marcus had none of that. In fact, I walked around the floor several times and noticed several employees looking at me, but when I approached they walked away. I'm sorry, but to judge whether someone has money by their appearance is purely shallow and frankly ignorant. This place made me very uncomfortable and frankly I rather take my business elsewhere. read more

I had to search between all the shirts for my size with no help. When I get to the register with $1000 in shopping they run up and ask if everything was okay and if anyone helped. WORST customer service. DAVID in the women's shoe department was unprofessional and extremely rude when I tried returning ysl shoes that are over $1000 that I had NEVER WORN. I was told he was the manager, which now I know was a lie. Shoe was never worn, even people next to us we're shocked that they would not return the heels. He informed me they "do not sell shoes in this condition" although I went around and found 4 other shoes in seconds and showed it to him to prove that we did not wear it and they DO sell shoes in that same condition. He dismissed what I said and told me these are shoes on display. It makes no sense because people often buy shoes on display. Do not buy shoes from here without checking every single inch to make sure there is nothing wrong with them, because they will not take it back. I regularly buy designer heels but I will never buy shoes from this location again. read more

This is my favorite Neiman Marcus and favorite large store in Beverly Hills for so many reasons. First, they have free two hour parking in the garage as long as you validate your ticket (anyone will validate, even if you don't buy something). Second, the restaurant downstairs, Mariposa serves the best popovers! They are amazing and come with butter and jam. Third, they have an AMAZING shoe selection. I could spend days in their shoe department. Fourth, the "contemporary" section - or young and trendy section, is also great and they have sales all the time. Fifth, the men's floor upstairs is such a fun place to sit, have a cocktail and/or a cupcake and a cup of turkey chili! Customer service is always great tooo! read more

So I've been to many high end stores In Hollywood and Beverly Hills and all experiences have been subpar and felt as I've been profiled before. Since Neiman is a higher end store right smack in the middle of Beverly Hills I expected it to feel intimidating with pretentious employees to follow with it. Unlike the grove's Nordstrom for example, this Neiman was awesome. Welcomed from the start and was approached by attentive people. I came to buy a ysl wallet for my mom and has a great selection with greater service from that ysl department( I forgot her name). I tried to purchase a pair of pants online. They were out in my size. In store representative found them in San Diego and attempted to send the pants to me. LP stopped the transaction stating something did not match as far as my address and card which it does. I've had the same address over 5 years, my Amex matches my home address for billing and shipping purposes and Antonio, LP manager, and Chris, executive who I spoke with provided no explanation for why they would not honor my card. If I shopped online, they would allow my card and after speaking with Amex, they never attempted to charge anything. What a joke of their Loss prevention department and Chris, as an executive, you should be ashamed of yourself. Now I can drive from the valley to Beverly Hills just to verify it is me but it is not worth the poor humiliation from Chris and Antonio. I'm disappointed in this store and it's management team. I can shop online with no issues of verifying anything...and shop with other retailers. read more

Came here to buy a Goyard wallet....a blonde sales person helped me, she gave me an attitude form the moment I talked to her and was very rude. I asked if they had a certain wallet in stock and she stated they did but it was in the back and to come back tomorrow after 5 pm. On Tuesday, December 15th, I reached out to your store by calling the number they have provided online. The reason for my call was to verify that they would be open prior to my arrival, since I would be commuting from a very long distance. I was assured that the hours of operation during the holidays were until 8p.m. I was a bit reluctant and so I again went online and read that their regular store hours were different so again I contacted the telephone number that they have provided online and for a second time was reassured they would be opened in till 8p.m.. However, upon my arrival that was clearly not the case. I was beyond myself, how could a store of this caliber be so irresponsible to give me incorrect information? Not once but twice. I reached out to the store manager and she pushed me over to Newport Neiman Markus to rectify and clean up their mistake. Newport was very efficient however, I contacted Beverly Hills to give them the opportunity to make things right but instead was completely disregarded and disrespected.
