Oh and your not far from the Alabama/Florida line, so you can buy lotto tickets or just make a run to Florida.

The king bed was hard as a rock. We actually decided to pack up and go home early due to the bed. My husband and I were in pain most of the trip due to the hardness/stiffness of the bed. When I say hard as a rock, I mean this bed did not move. It was like sitting on a wall. I would love to stay in the unit again if the master bedroom was a different bed. I love a firm bed with some softness on top. This could have used a mattress topper and we went to buy one, but the topper we found was $120 and we didn't feel like that was a purchase we should have made. Overall though, this is a great family friendly resort with amazing views.

I booked a vacation rental with them because I hate using OTAs or big corporate feeling companies and LOVE supporting locals, they seemed like the most relevant company and their service did not disappoint. Booking was easy and we got a great rental, but the ongoing communication and the real people who answered the phone when I called with questions impressed me. We even had a minor issue after we arrived and they were able to help immediately. Additionally, the destination itself is truly a gem...obviously it was off-season, but the tranquil feel of the island, the exceptional beachfront location of our condo, and the "Cheers-like" atmosphere of the restaurants and businesses was exactly the escape my husband, daughter and I were looking for. I repeat !…read moreDO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE ! 1. ) You have to DRIVE to a TOTALLY DIFFERNT LOCATION to get the key, parking passes and wristbands than the actual Perdido Towers. 2. ) We stayed in Unit 507 and immediately when entered we attempted to open the stove, the STOVE DOOR STARTED HANGING DOOR started HANGING DOWN. It looks like someone had attempted to repair with super glue in the past. THIS WAS HORRIBLE ! 3. ) Also the LAUNDRY DOOR WAS OFF TRACK AT THE BOTTOM AND ON THE TOP. We could never get the door back on. The door started leaning and we feared it would fall on our daughter the hold trip and it did fall when we was upstairs sleeping at night and it scared us to death. 4. ) Also, in the middle of our stay, an employee knocked on our door and told us our PARKING PASSES THAT THEY PROVIDED US WERE NO LONGER ANY GOOD and we would need to start using NEW PARKING PASSES. This did not make sense to us at all. 5. ) Also the STOVE EYES were not plugged in properly. We could not get the STOVE EYES to work at all for the first night of our stay. We then realized the stove eyes were HALF WAY PLUGGED IN. 6. ) The BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UMBRELLLA ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE STAY. You have to pay extra for the BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UNBRELLA. I have never stayed in a condo that does not provide at least TWO BEACH CHAIRS AND ONE BEACH UNBRELLA. 7. My kids SPILLED ORANGE JUICE IN THE BED and washed their hands on a towel after eating homemade CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES and PERDIDO REALTY EMPLOYEE ANNA PARKS said it was human feces. Wow ! This is laughable. Who would wipe poop with a towel when we have tissue. Both of our kids are potty trained and would never pee in the bed. This is all laughable. 8. ) Employee Anna Parks was very rude and made us feel that we are criminals. She would talk over me. She made us feel we were nobody and better pay up for the feces when there was never any feces. 9. ) The WIFI is horrible ! It moves very slow and didnt work at all most of the time. 10. ) 2 of the 3 TV's were out dated and was not smart Tv's. Could not connect to any of our apps on the Tv's.

Unfortunately it was located exactly above the garbage dumpsters which were emptied six days a week between 4 am and 7 am, which meant that sleeping late was not an option. Bella was very accomodating with our situation, even trying to find us alternate units which unfortunately were not suitable or cost more. In the end, we stayed and they refunded us a portion of our cost. I would recommend Bella. I would not recommend Sugar Beach 153.

It is…read morequiet at night, and seemd to be a safe area as we walked to restaurants in the dark for 3 nights. Two good restaurants in walking distance. We stayed at the marina section of the park. One odd thing is, you pull into your slip bow first due to low water on that end of the slip. Make sure you have long enough power cables and water hose as electric and water are center of the slip at the bow end of the boat. The people at the facility and customers were very nice and friendly. They do have a pump out at the dock, but we did not use it on our 3 days there. We would go back.
