DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE ! I repeat ! DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE ! 1. ) You have to DRIVE to a TOTALLY DIFFERNT LOCATION to get the key, parking passes and wristbands than the actual Perdido Towers. 2. ) We stayed in Unit 507 and immediately when entered we attempted to open the stove, the STOVE DOOR STARTED HANGING DOOR started HANGING DOWN. It looks like someone had attempted to repair with super glue in the past. THIS WAS HORRIBLE ! 3. ) Also the LAUNDRY DOOR WAS OFF TRACK AT THE BOTTOM AND ON THE TOP. We could never get the door back on. The door started leaning and we feared it would fall on our daughter the hold trip and it did fall when we was upstairs sleeping at night and it scared us to death. 4. ) Also, in the middle of our stay, an employee knocked on our door and told us our PARKING PASSES THAT THEY PROVIDED US WERE NO LONGER ANY GOOD and we would need to start using NEW PARKING PASSES. This did not make sense to us at all. 5. ) Also the STOVE EYES were not plugged in properly. We could not get the STOVE EYES to work at all for the first night of our stay. We then realized the stove eyes were HALF WAY PLUGGED IN. 6. ) The BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UMBRELLLA ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE STAY. You have to pay extra for the BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UNBRELLA. I have never stayed in a condo that does not provide at least TWO BEACH CHAIRS AND ONE BEACH UNBRELLA. 7. My kids SPILLED ORANGE JUICE IN THE BED and washed their hands on a towel after eating homemade CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES and PERDIDO REALTY EMPLOYEE ANNA PARKS said it was human feces. Wow ! This is laughable. Who would wipe poop with a towel when we have tissue. Both of our kids are potty trained and would never pee in the bed. This is all laughable. 8. ) Employee Anna Parks was very rude and made us feel that we are criminals. She would talk over me. She made us feel we were nobody and better pay up for the feces when there was never any feces. 9. ) The WIFI is horrible ! It moves very slow and didnt work at all most of the time. 10. ) 2 of the 3 TV's were out dated and was not smart Tv's. Could not connect to any of our apps on the Tv's. read more

Every year, my husband's golf group spends a week in Perdido, FL enjoying the weather, the beach, and, of course, the golf. For years, we have enjoyed the dependability of Perdido Realty in placing our entire group (from several states) in perfect rental condos. This year, our first floor, regularly chosen, condo was not available. I had the pleasure of visiting Perdido Key a few weeks ago, and the whole experience was simply wonderful. Perdido Realty Vacations was the perfect starting point and it grew from there. I booked a vacation rental with them because I hate using OTAs or big corporate feeling companies and LOVE supporting locals, they seemed like the most relevant company and their service did not disappoint. Booking was easy and we got a great rental, but the ongoing communication and the real people who answered the phone when I called with questions impressed me. We even had a minor issue after we arrived and they were able to help immediately. Additionally, the destination itself is truly a gem...obviously it was off-season, but the tranquil feel of the island, the exceptional beachfront location of our condo, and the "Cheers-like" atmosphere of the restaurants and businesses was exactly the escape my husband, daughter and I were looking for. We were, once again, very impressed with all of the facilities and the excellent condition the condo represented. We couldn't ask for more. Folks, if you want the best, trust Val and her staff to deliver it for you. In the over three decades twice a year of rental at Perdido Key, we have always used Perdido Reality to book and have never been disappointed, even once. PerDido realty found us a great place to stay right on the beach. We stayed at Gulfside Villa 2C. This rental is the perfect size for two couples or a small family. The upstairs loft surpassed our expectations as it is very private and has its own full bathroom. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Getting our key and getting in was no hassle they even let us know we could come in early if we wanted. Everything was super clean catchup and everyone was helpful. read more

Incredibly unhelpful. We could not get in our condo door without several people trying and it took 10-15 minutes every time. We were told no one could come fix it and we weren't staying long so we'd have to deal with it. Guests shouldn't be treated like that. Certainly won't use them again. read more

We have consistenly had outstanding experiences with Perdido Realty. The staff, especially Val, has bent over backwards to ensure our multiple stays for the last 10 plus years were problem free, relaxing and memorable. On the very rare occassion that something was not right, it was resolved quickly and efficently, even after hours. We average 4-5 visits a year and would not count on another company providing the service and attention to detail that Perdido Realty is famous for !! read more

We agree with Jackie T. So glad this company no longer manages our property. If you are even considering them, please do some research. We did not and that was our first mistake, the second mistake was staying with them way longer then we should have, trying to give the company the benefit of the doubt. They are so removed from taking care of your property like it is theirs, in fact the exact statement to us was if you don't have to rent financially I would not rent it. That just says enough about how much they really care about your property ! They DON'T ! We did that only to have them call us five days before our long reserved vacation to cancel our condo with no option for an alternative rental. There are no suitable places available now. Worst of all, they can't even promptly credit our card, but instead have to mail us a refund check. Terrible realty company! They rip you off royally! My husband paid a ridiculous amount for a 2 bedroom condo for the summer. The realty company believed it was okay to just barge into the condo on multiple occasions unannounced. They charged $10 a day per each visitor, even though it was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo! They also charged $50 to deliver a key because my husband got locked out (door automatically locks when shut). There was mold in the shower, hair everywhere and toe nail clippings in the master bedroom. I would never recommend this realty company. Go somewhere else!! read more

We stayed at the Beach Colony Resort at Perdido Key. It was the worst vacation experience we've ever had. Among the highlights - toilets were stained, black mold in the master shower, body odor smells coming from bathrooms and entryway, and the absolute worst bed and pillows I've ever tried to sleep on. Then it happened. Last night before leaving after a nice dinner, we come back and the key will not open the door. We woke the security guard who was no help. We called the numbers on the front of the building, no help. We drove to the realty office and tried those numbers, only an answering machine. Finally, we called a locksmith who was able to get us in by using the key and a credit card. We packed up and got a few hours sleep before leaving in the morning. Then, when trying to head out, realized we now couldn't open the door from the inside! We ended up having to shimmy through a window to escape, along with suitcases and a tote. We made all this known to Perdido Realty through their survey card, repeated voicemails to their numbers, and finally received some communication at around noon while driving home. They were offering what amounts to a hundred dollars off after we paid the locksmith. I expanded on our experience and they honestly did not see to be too concerned. I really just wanted to suggest that they post an emergency number at their office in case like us, someone doesn't have their paperwork on them at the moment they have an emergency. I really could care less about the money, we only get so much time to spend on vacation, and this ruined it. Will never go back and would suggest anyone beware this company. read more

I call the office to be told everything is fine, no cancellations. 22 days before my trip they call to cancel with no offer to find another location. We really enjoyed our stay at Perdido Key. We were at another hotel that was awful. My nephew was staying at Perdido in a condo, so he gave us the owner's contact info to see if she could hook us up with a one bedroom condo, and she did! The owner, Michele Stearns, was fantastic to us. We were able to stay in a very clean and affordable 3rd floor condo right down the street from my nephew and the rest of my family. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook, just as if I were at home. Plenty of towels, very clean, very comfortable, we were very very pleased! Thank you Michele! read more

If I could give Perdido Realty zero stars I would. The first week we were here, we noticed someone had entered our apartment without any notification. We called them to complain. They said it is in their agreement they can come and go as they please (even though Florida law clearly states they must give 24 hour notice). It has happened repeatedly, even though Valerie indicated that she apologized and would have the staff provide us with notice. We have been walked in on when in the shower and while being intimate. It has been embarrassing to say the least. Michelle, who was responsible for providing us notice for these times, laughed in our faces and just said "oops". They have no concern for your comfort or your privacy. This is making a major impact on our decision to ever come back to Perdido Key again. read more

We recently stayed at Perdido Skye #65 in August 2013 for our family vacation. Our family has vacationed in Perdido for 20+ years and we love it. We have stayed in a different condominium every time and have never had any issues. This was our first time booking with Perdido Realty. Only a couple of appliances in our condo at Persido Skye actually worked. The washer was broken (wouldn't turn on), the microwave was broken (did not heat), the window AC unit in the master bed did not blow cold air, and the AC unit in the living room leaked water on to the balcony throughout our entire stay. When we first called to report the washer being broken, Valerie was less than a little concerned and even tried to imply that we must've broken it. For the first 3 days of our 1 week stay we had no washer (in a family of 5). They fixed it the fourth day only to have it break down again on day 5. They brought another microwave and set it out on the counter for us to use leaving us almost no counter space on the bar top. They did nothing about the AC units and offered no refund on our stay even though we paid several hundred dollars more because we SPECIFICALLY needed a washer and dryer in our condo. I asked if they would move is to another condo and they said no. I understand that things break, but poor customer service is unexceptable and we were offered NOTHING to make up for our time and energy spent trying to accommodate our 3 kids with appliances that did not work. We will NEVER use perdido realty again. Valerie's attitude really put a damper on our vacation. She was very passive aggressive and rude. We needed a vacation more than anybody. A vacation should be relaxing with no worries. Ours was not because of Perdido Realty. Go with Meyer or Sandy Key instead. We've always had great experiences with them. Do not work with this company. There are too many reputable and professional companies down here you can rent from so do not waste your time. The staff is so rude and unprofessional. I've never been treated with poorer customer service. Two girls were training at the front desk when we checked in and they were very nice and genuinely trying. It was the management that were overbearing with them right in front of us and I asked a question and was told to let them finish. I feel bad for the two new girls. When I checked out I wasn't even asked how my stay was, I was practically ignored. I will never be booking through them again. The condo itself was ok for the price, it had a great view which was the highlight. Wifi was down the entire trip and the extra bedding we needed in the condo had blood stains on it. We stayed at Sailmaker. The condo itself was great however the staff at Perdido Realty was unhelpful, rude and didn't communicate well. We had no iron, no WiFi and no cable the entire stay. When contacting they'd send someone out who was unable to make a resolution. When trying to call to follow up on these issues or receive directions for check out they didn't answer the phones. Perdido Key is beautiful but Id be sure to find a more professional rental company. read more
