    Our balcony view.

This was our first visit and it'll be our "go to" place from now on...it's clean, friendly, easy access to beach, outside pool, inside pool that's ventilated with four sliding glass doors and over head openings. Exercises equipment room is just enough though no TV or outside windows to help the time go by so bring your iPod or iPhone. The staff on site are willing to answer questions and the management company is quick to reply by email and in person when we goofed on the AC thermostat. Nothing major we just didn't understand how to work it, we had an email response and someone in person within the hour! Lots of boutique shopping at SanRoc Cay and The Wharf nearby. Fishers and Dockside were a real treat!

Every year, my husband's golf group spends a week in Perdido, FL enjoying the weather, the beach,…read moreand, of course, the golf. For years, we have enjoyed the dependability of Perdido Realty in placing our entire group (from several states) in perfect rental condos. This year, our first floor, regularly chosen, condo was not available. Carrie continued to work with us over several days, until we found the perfect spot on the second floor, not far from our buddies. Looking forward to next year, and our next contact with Perdido Realty, and Carrie!

I booked a vacation rental with them because I hate using OTAs or big corporate feeling companies and LOVE supporting locals, they seemed like the most relevant company and their service did not disappoint. Booking was easy and we got a great rental, but the ongoing communication and the real people who answered the phone when I called with questions impressed me. We even had a minor issue after we arrived and they were able to help immediately. Additionally, the destination itself is truly a gem...obviously it was off-season, but the tranquil feel of the island, the exceptional beachfront location of our condo, and the "Cheers-like" atmosphere of the restaurants and businesses was exactly the escape my husband, daughter and I were looking for. Thanks Perdido Realty Vacations!

Wow. I hate to even post this. We have visited this restaurant several to mes in the past, but…read moredisappointment x 10 had us leaving tonight (on our anniversary) with one take home entre (more below) and a permanent farewell. - Reservations were very easy, and phone staff and we were warmly welcomed with a happy anniversary. But....! - don't know what happened bit the restaurant was FILLED with smoke when we came in (so much so my eyes watered)....this only mildly disappated before our departure..... - we sat down...ordered a "Vespa" martini...waiter said "I don't know what that is?" We said.."It is an Italian martini...your bar tender will know...!" He came back and said "No...never heard of it..," (oh well!).... - dry, not warm bread was delivered to the table - took a LONG time to get drinks - drinks we okay - wife ordered Grouper with "encrusted crab" coating (she was actually looking forward to it!); ordered Villagio Salad and seafood pasta - food arrived --salad was great....BUT grouper "encrusted" was grouper with sauted crab meat on top...(NO Crust!) and grouper did not seem fresh - seafood pasta was "meh," a la Olive Garden soupy... - when we were asked by waiter...."where was the crust?" He said "that IS crust?" My dear bride said "well crust suggests crunchy and this is wet and lumpy...," ..he continued to defend chef... - manager came by, same discussion, KINDLY offered to replace the entre..but at thst point...the moment had passed.... - we sent the grouper back (they did not charge us..which was nice...) - but for salad, two martini's and a "meh" pasta which was Olive-Garden-Soupy with a smokey room...we were charged $72! - Lastly...should add...there were flies landing on our food!!!! We were promised (nice) a "free desert," but really questioned the quality of anything we would receive.... SOOOOO very nice people, but overpriced for VERY average food....sadly, our last trip....we brought the anniversary celebration home (where we know how to make a Vespa!).

We loved the view and the furniture on the balcony. So much that we are looking where to buy some for our house. It was so awesome to sit there each morning and be in the shade and watching all the people roasting in the sun down at the beach. Of course if you love roasting at the beach, it's just steps there! We didn't use the pools but they were nice looking. We did use the fitness center and we enjoyed it. The bed in the unit was SO comfortable, and we loved it that we are looking to buy the same mattress at our house . We slept like babies, as it's quiet and they have a fan and room darkening curtains. It is newly furnished and very nice. Each room has a RV with streaming options. I also noticed a pull out sofa but we didn't use it. The dining room has a kitchen table and a bar area. The kitchen has bare minimum so don't except to do some major meals there. But we did get a craving for a later snack after an early dinner and went to the local Publix and got some frozen pizza and salad and there was a pizza sheet and pizza cutter so it was sufficient for us. Plenty of plates and bowls and silverware and basic cookware. It was fine for us but if you're going to cook a lot of meals then bring stuff. There is a toaster and percolating coffee maker. There is automatic ice in the freezer. There is no dish soap so bring some. Bring extra TP and paper towels. They provide a couple dishwasher tabs. It is pretty basic like a nicer hotel room and having the extra half bath so if you're looking for a condo that has a lot of stuff then this isn't it. Like I said, it was perfect for us two and we really enjoyed it and would definitely rent here again in the future if it was available. The condo is in a great area. It's very quiet but if you want to go where there's more stuff then Orange Beach and Pensacola aren't very far. Also if you go eat, don't go to the Jellyfish Restaurant - it was terrible terrible. But definitely go to the Perdido Key Breakfast Club and get the Perdido Burrito. You'll thank me later. That was our favorite place. Also go to orange beach and go to Luna's and Cosmos because they are fire. Thank you for a lovely stay. The management company was FANTASTIC!! They kept us informed and instantly responded to questions we had. Also there were some activities discounted or free with them and we did the dolphin cruise with their discount.
