DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE ! I repeat !…read moreDO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE ! 1. ) You have to DRIVE to a TOTALLY DIFFERNT LOCATION to get the key, parking passes and wristbands than the actual Perdido Towers. 2. ) We stayed in Unit 507 and immediately when entered we attempted to open the stove, the STOVE DOOR STARTED HANGING DOOR started HANGING DOWN. It looks like someone had attempted to repair with super glue in the past. THIS WAS HORRIBLE ! 3. ) Also the LAUNDRY DOOR WAS OFF TRACK AT THE BOTTOM AND ON THE TOP. We could never get the door back on. The door started leaning and we feared it would fall on our daughter the hold trip and it did fall when we was upstairs sleeping at night and it scared us to death. 4. ) Also, in the middle of our stay, an employee knocked on our door and told us our PARKING PASSES THAT THEY PROVIDED US WERE NO LONGER ANY GOOD and we would need to start using NEW PARKING PASSES. This did not make sense to us at all. 5. ) Also the STOVE EYES were not plugged in properly. We could not get the STOVE EYES to work at all for the first night of our stay. We then realized the stove eyes were HALF WAY PLUGGED IN. 6. ) The BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UMBRELLLA ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE STAY. You have to pay extra for the BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH UNBRELLA. I have never stayed in a condo that does not provide at least TWO BEACH CHAIRS AND ONE BEACH UNBRELLA. 7. My kids SPILLED ORANGE JUICE IN THE BED and washed their hands on a towel after eating homemade CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES and PERDIDO REALTY EMPLOYEE ANNA PARKS said it was human feces. Wow ! This is laughable. Who would wipe poop with a towel when we have tissue. Both of our kids are potty trained and would never pee in the bed. This is all laughable. 8. ) Employee Anna Parks was very rude and made us feel that we are criminals. She would talk over me. She made us feel we were nobody and better pay up for the feces when there was never any feces. 9. ) The WIFI is horrible ! It moves very slow and didnt work at all most of the time. 10. ) 2 of the 3 TV's were out dated and was not smart Tv's. Could not connect to any of our apps on the Tv's.

For years, we have enjoyed the dependability of Perdido Realty in placing our entire group (from several states) in perfect rental condos. This year, our first floor, regularly chosen, condo was not available. Looking forward to next year, and our next contact with Perdido Realty, and Carrie!

We stayed at the Perdido Tide Beach house in Orange Beach AL for a week in July. We had 17 people…read morethere for our family vacation, both adults and children. The house was large, roomy, and well maintained. The private pool and walkway to the beach were especially nice. The bedrooms all had their own bathrooms. There were no immediate house/hotels directly next to the house so privacy was wonderful. When one of the clothes dryers in the house stopped working, maintenance was quick to respond. The only negative is that for the entire week, each bathroom was provided one role of toilet paper - no spares. There were also no Kleenex boxes anywhere in the house, so anyone who sneezed had to use one of the "worth more than gold" toilet paper squares to blow their nose. And only one paper towel roll in the kitchen as well. (Even hotels provide spare toilet paper and tissues!) It was annoying and a cheap treatment for guests who are paying thousands to rent this house for a week. (TP is not something anyone is going to steal!) That irritation aside, we did enjoy the house and beach very much. Just bring your own TP and Kleenex if you plan to visit...

My family and I booked a beachfront condo in Gulf Shores through Luxury Coastal Vacations months in…read moreadvance. I hadn't been to Gulf Shores in years, and my husband and our 2-year-old son had never been, so we were incredibly excited for this trip. One week before our vacation, I received a call saying our reservation had been canceled. I was completely confused because just two days earlier I had received a confirmation from the host and thought everything was set. At first, I honestly thought it was a scam. It wasn't. I was told the property had been sold, and we were no longer allowed to stay there. I was shocked that a vacation could be canceled just one week before check-in. The representative I spoke with was also pretty rude and showed very little empathy for the situation. She told me my only options were to contact Airbnb Support to transfer my funds to another property or receive a full refund in 3-5 business days. When I contacted Airbnb Support, they told me my reservation was still showing as confirmed--not canceled. That meant I had to call Luxury Coastal Vacations a second time. This time I got a different representative who couldn't help me and said the first person I spoke with would have to call me back. She never did. Trying to find another 3-bedroom beachfront condo with similar amenities, for the same dates and within our budget, was nearly impossible. There were only a couple of options, and neither met our expectations. Luxury Coastal Vacations offered us one alternative--a duplex about five minutes from the beach that appeared to be in a questionable area--and it was $1,000 more than our original booking, which we would have had to pay ourselves. After I declined, they simply said there was nothing else they could do and told me to contact Airbnb Support. Thankfully, Airbnb was able to transfer our funds, and we ended up booking a beachfront condo in our original vacation destination, Panama City Beach. However, it took two stressful days to get everything sorted out. It was very stressful and annoying. I understand properties can be sold, but couldn't believe they can just cancel our vacation 1 week before and the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing. There was little effort to help us find a comparable replacement or make things right. Because of this experience, if I ever see Luxury Coastal Vacations listed as the host again, I will skip that property and keep looking. I would not recommend booking with them

Myself and my family were bitten by bedbugs at a Turnkey Vacation Rental property in South Lake Tahoe from January 17-20th and we are still waiting for a resolution to this issue. TVR's rental agreement states that they will contact us within 48h of conducting an assessment of the property. This tells me that they must either have not conducted an assessment of this property and that bed bugs are still at large, thus are in breach of California Civil Code Section 1941.1 OR they are liars and therefore in breach of our rental agreement. This issue is now more serious than the simple and unfortunate problem of their having been bed bugs at the property. Prospective tenants RECONSIDER your need to stay at a Turnkey Vacation Rental property. Not only will simple problems be ignored, but TVR seem to think they might be above the law and their contractual agreements... NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR TIME.

We said.."It is an Italian martini...your bar tender will know...!" He came back and said "No...never heard of it..," (oh well!).... - dry, not warm bread was delivered to the table - took a LONG time to get drinks - drinks we okay - wife ordered Grouper with "encrusted crab" coating (she was actually looking forward to it!); ordered Villagio Salad and seafood pasta - food arrived --salad was great....BUT grouper "encrusted" was grouper with sauted crab meat on top...(NO Crust!) and grouper did not seem fresh - seafood pasta was "meh," a la Olive Garden soupy... - when we were asked by waiter...."where was the crust?" He said "that IS crust?" My dear bride said "well crust suggests crunchy and this is wet and lumpy...," ..he continued to defend chef... - manager came by, same discussion, KINDLY offered to replace the entre..but at thst point...the moment had passed.... - we sent the grouper back (they did not charge us..which was nice...) - but for salad, two martini's and a "meh" pasta which was Olive-Garden-Soupy with a smokey room...we were charged $72! - Lastly...should add...there were flies landing on our food!!!! We were promised (nice) a "free desert," but really questioned the quality of anything we would receive.... SOOOOO very nice people, but overpriced for VERY average food....sadly, our last trip....we brought the anniversary celebration home (where we know how to make a Vespa!).
