I chose Emma as my lash artist. She listened to what I wanted- doll eye light wispy hybrid and she gave me exactly that! :) I always get so nervous around new techs, whether nail/hair/or lash artist. My eyelid was twitching the entire time! She was so kind about it and did this set in less than 2 hours! I was so impressed. I would definitely recommend Emma and Nee Lashes to all the girlies in Seattle. Salon is clean, quiet, well-maintained. If I could give it no stars, I would. If you care about your natural lashes, don't come here. From the start, my eyes were BURNING the entire time--I couldn't relax at all. Instead of fixing the issue, all she did was put a fan on my face. No adjustments to the tape, no changes to the glue--just kept saying my eyes were "sensitive". I would blink and it literally felt like my waterline was being stabbed because the extensions were glued to my eyelid. By the end, my lashes were overloaded with glue. They had a noticeable white tint from how much adhesive was used. It honestly felt like I had chili rubbed into my eyes. What's worse, the extensions were glued to my eyelid--my actual skin--and there was glue residue on my waterline. You can clearly see it in the pictures. That is not normal application. When I brought it up, she dismissed it and said it was just tears reacting with the glue. It wasn't. It was clearly excess glue and poor technique. She told me to wait 3 days and call if I didn't like them. I told her I didn't need 3 days to know I didn't like them. I paid and left completely unsatisfied and uncomfortable with eyes BURNING I could barely see. Should've read the reviews better, I'm glad they're actually more people experiencing this poor service and speaking about it. read more

Owner uses a product that causes eyes to burn. When asked if there are alternative product they said no. Then I asked to cancel the appointment since I don't want my eyes to burn or have an allergic reaction (as she offered no other alternative solution). However, she insisted that it's last minute cancellation and therefore be a $30 charge. I'm unsure how their business practice works but I'd rather get charged $30 than to lose my eyesight. I LOVE MY LASHES! I'm so happy to have found Nhi, specially so close to home. First of all, I found her on Groupon and I came in for a hybrid set. When using Groupon vouchers, I previously have had experiences being given an half-assed service by some providers since Groupon deals equal services at a discounted price. Well not here with Nhi, she always gave her 110% best work. She was gentle and meticulous. Her hand movement is so fast yet light, I could barely feel a thing and absolutely zero pulling. She also made sure I was comfortable with the room temperature and how I rest my knees. I felt so relaxed the entire appointment and nearly dozed off. If you check her Instagram you'll see her amazing work and some informative posts on the different lash styles, length/curl/thickness, volume, and proper care. She truly works hard to give the lashes that you want whether it be a classic, hybrid, volume, mega-volume set, and whatever style you like whether in wispy, doll-eye, cateye, open eye etc. She's also one of the rare lash techs in the country who offers a bottom lash extension. What a complete one-stop shop. Plus she has a great bedside manner, very friendly, personable and easy to talk to. Her place is so chic and clean with comfortable beds. From the beginning she made sure to understand what I was looking for and it's apparent her goal is to give me the very best version of it. I consulted with her the best fit for my eye shape and size, and she knocked it out of the park. She really did a great job and she uses quality products, I really couldn't be happier. I wanted a wispy but still natural look with a not-too-long of a length. She gave me exactly that and was happy with how my lashes turned out. This is my second time getting my lashes done by Nhi and I love it! My first time was a foreign fill bc my original lash girl was not available but after getting my fill done by Nhi, I actually liked what Nhi did better and decided to switch over to her. I like that she has and can do a variety of styles that you want and I specially wanted something that was full but still more natural looking. This location is like 40 mins from where I live, but I think it's worth the drive to have a good lash person! I reached out via IG to schedule both times and they are really responsive. I've been coming here for a couple of months now, and this is easily the best lash salon I have ever been to. The lashes literally last FOREVER, and on the off chance that there is an issue - they are always super fast and prompt in getting back to you. Tina and Nhiare amazing! My lashes always look lifted and dramatic yet natural???!!! It's genuinely such an art form and they never fail to amaze me. I am now a lash girly and it's because of how great this business is. I love the atmosphere, the decor, the vibe and most importantly...the lashes are top tier. They are never droopy or too heavy - even with a super full set. I'll be a loyal customer as long as I have lashes. My only suggestion is to ensure that before you open your eyes, make sure that you use their fan to really dry out the glue to avoid any irritation or burning. When she is freshly done with my eye, I use the handheld fan for about 1-2 full minutes and I don't have any sensitivity or burning after I am able to dry out the glue a bit. This place was wonderful! I am a long-time lash veteran and am usually so picky about how my lashes turn out. The only issue is I'm terrible at describing what I want, and I didn't have photos of old lash sets on my new phone. I found Nee lashes on Groupon and found a fabulous deal for about $50 (with a Groupon coupon code) for a hybrid full set done with Emma. I scheduled online through Vagaro, which was convenient, for a 5:30 appointment on a Wednesday. When I walked in, the ambience was a total warm, comforting atmosphere. Lots of white and silver and orchids and beautiful flowers. It smelled amazing, was warm inside, and there was soft, soothing music with nature sounds (birds chirping, etc.) in the background. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly by two staff members, Emma and another woman, and instructed to take my shoes off and leave them by the door, which immediately made me feel like I was walking into a home and was being welcomed. There were two benches separated by a curtain and when you lay down, they put a pillow under your knees for some lumbar support. I spoke with Emma, who was such a sweetheart, about what kind of lashes I was looking for. I felt so unprepared not having pictures of what I was looking for, but we looked on the Nee Lash Instagram (she gave me the wifi password), and she pulled up some examples of lashes (open eye, doll eye, etc.) to help me figure out what I wanted. In the past, I have had wispy layered lash sets with doll eye (which she helped me figure out), and have had DD blended with C. Not sure why I've never tried CC, because it was the perfect match! We chose 14 mm wispy doll eye style with CC curl (which is a great curl for being curlier than my natural lashes but not so curly that it hits my eyebrows)! Emma was so sweet the entire time, making sure I was comfortable and adjusting my pillow a couple times when my head was uncomfortable (I think I just have a lumpy skull, lol). She took her time, was so thorough, and was super gentle. The whole process was soothing- like an (almost two hour) gentle going in and out of napping. It's so comforting to get your lashes done if you've never had it done before. Gentle movements, like your lashes are just being gently touched while becoming more beautiful. Emma was super kind, answered all my questions, and was generally just an angel and a dream! I loved getting my lashes done by her, and when I opened my eyes, I was taken aback with how beautiful of a job she had done! Furthermore, usually when I get my lashes done, I experience fall-out within the first couple of days, or sometimes I even get a little sore red rash at my lash line from an allergic reaction to the glue. Whatever glue they use, it stays on and does not irritate my eyes at all! I have had no fall-out, even after my first shower post-application. I loved this salon and will definitely be back. I set my appointment 3 weeks in advance and a couple days before my appointment date, someone from Nee's lashes texts me asking me to move my appointment time. I told them that won't work because of my work schedule so I'd have to keep the time I already had scheduled for myself. They said okay that's fine so I don't think much of it afterwards. Then a couple days after that they text me again asking me to move my time again AND without my confirming the new time will work they send me an automated "please confirm your appointment " message with the news time that I didn't even agree to yet. I can understand they're probably double booked but if I already had a date and time set, it really rubbed me the wrong way to have them just go in and change my time without my confirmation especially this being the second time they're asking me to change my appointment. read more

Nhi does the best lashes in Washington for very fair pricing!! She is such a doll, so sweet and works with you when it comes to what style you want your lashes (wispey, flirty etc!). I have extremely sensitive eyes and I've had bad experiences with other lash techs around Seattle but not with Nhi! She is sooo gentle and takes such good care of your eyes and is super communicative during the process. for the record, I created a Yelp solely to write this review. Last month I purchased her Groupon for the full set. my goal was to jump around until I found the lash salon that really works for me. the set she did was barely noticeable. I felt as though she was a little different with me because I was in fact using a Groupon. every other client was scheduled a follow up appt when leaving except for me. i attempted to book a second apppintment seeing as it was busy when I was there and the other clients I noticed has noticeable extensions and when leaving their appointment. so I asked to book a refill and she scheduled it for today at 730. as I was in the waiting area I overheard the only client that in there at the time telling her that the lashes have been falling out and not staying in like they used to. I noticed the client was brushed off about it and told to pay. she locked the door, had me lay down, and then was told she could not do the fill because there was mascara remnents on my lashes. I don't know many lash places that ask you for the shape (cat eye, doll face, etc). Its common knowledge not to get your lashes wet for 24 hours after application. I ended up crying the night I got my new lashes (completely unrelated to Nee Lashes), and when I woke up not only were my lashes still perfectly in tact but I felt better looking better too. I was referred here and I was a little hesitant since there weren't many reviews. But I took a chance since the location was closer and took advantage of their 50% for first clients and I needed something at the moment until I was able to see my old lash tech. The Pros-- the spot was really cute and relaxing! Very clean!!! They have you take off your shoes and you have the options to wear cute house fuzzy slippers. Now the Cons-- I saw Jenny and I had a full volume set which took about 2.5 hours and also removed my current lashes I had on at the time. This was probably the worst experience I've had for the past 3yrs I've gotten my lashes done. I usually take lash naps too (i'd fall deep asleep until i'm done) but this time I couldn't! I was in so much pain from my eyes burning the entire time! I had tears and she barely wiped it. I felt every single lashes that were glued on--- and they hurt! Normally, this should not hurt at all (a red flag) She didn't even ask me the whole time if i was ok. I didn't say anything because I thought it would get better. I gave her a chance... finally I'm done and I could barely open my eyes. She thought there was glue stuck but she goes "ohhh they were your tears" tears she didn't care to wipe while she was putting on my lashes. They tried to take a photo of her work but my eyes were blood shot red! My eyes were teary even after I left. My photo was posted on their IG on 2/6/2023 (take a look for yourself). If deleted, I have a copy. But you can tell from all the photos they post mostly everyone had red eyes after their appt. I came home and realized 4hrs later my eyes were still red. I tried to get in to have them fix it but I couldn't until next day so i texted Nhee and told her I can see her next day but ii'll cancel if it gets better then. Sure enough my eyes were better next day but my eyelids felt so tight. I felt that my lids didn't react too well from the glue they used and I was worried she glued them on way tooooo close to my eyelids.. which she pretty much did! Fast forward, today marks 1 month since I got my lashes done from them and ..lol.... My lashes are still in tact, still full. You can't even see any growth!!! Idk if thats a good thing but Probably like 5 lashes on top have out grown but bottom hasn't and still pretty much close to my lids.This explains why my eyes were burning so much because she glued them on soooooooo damn close literally on my lids. Would I come back? No. You get what you pay for i guess. read more

I came here today for extended eyelashes. I don't remember her name but I did it with her before. I liked it and came back again today. She asked me if I wanted the same style as the last time I got it. Unfortunately, I didn't ask her what the note she has about the style I got last time before I said yet. When she finished my right eye. I wanted to take a look and it didn't look like what I got from last time at all. She kept saying she had a note that I did "open eyes" style for the last time. Then they started to blame me. Even the owner came to say this style looks beautiful on me. Well thank you but no one mentioned that the note was wrong and what the style I want. Also, no one says sorry. The point is if it is not the style I want I don't want it. And even I said no I didn't do open eyes style last time. They didn't believe me and kept saying that until I showed her the picture from last time. It's supposed to be a natural cat-eye with D14 at the end. Why do I need to prove it?
