Neato Burrito is "okay" at best. What it does, it does well - being one of the only late-night spots open -- providing food to the late-night crowd. The food was heavily sauced, kind of tasted like mush (needed a lot of hot sauce to add flavor). It was alright. I wouldn't come here again and definitely wouldn't recommend if/when other restaurants are open, because there's significantly better and more flavorful food options available during the day. If you're out late and need a bite, this will get the job done. On a positive note, the gentleman who was working was extremely nice. 5-star service. Super friendly, talkative and a cool dude. It seemed like he has "regulars" based on some of the interactions he had with other customers, or just got to know them that well while they were there. Either way, really nice guy. read more

I visited Neato Burrito four years ago when I was previously in Spokane for work and since then it's the first thing I recommend when anyone mentions Spokane. Their vegan Thai burrito is perfection. Rice, beans, Thai peanut sauce, cabbage, I added tofu, and magic! Don't believe Maps, Neato is indeed open! They were closed a few days last week evidently because of COVID, etc. which, is actually refreshing to see businesses care about the general population. If you're in Spokane, go to Neato. Used to love this business thought they had good food would go from time to time. But yesterday there was only a kid of diversity in the restaurant serving and gave a smaller amount (about 2/3 the amount of food we would normally get) and charged more expensive than other times. After we paid and started to eat the food, I don't know if that day for the food was just being modified by that one employee or the entire restaurant just altered the way they make the food. The food was extremely salty. Inedibly salty. It was just like eating salt bomb. Was someone high on drugs while cooking that they dumped so much salt in every ingredient. I never remembered eating at Neto burrito every bite would be a struggle because it wasn't until yesterday. I used to like this place and enjoy their food. This time I ordered 3 bowls for 2 people because I remembered I liked the food when it was other adult employees around but this time all 3 bowls are as terrible. I can never go get their food again or waste my money to take my chances for the food to be a hit or miss. As for the food, I tried my best to eat. It's one thing if the food is not enjoyable but edible. But the amount of salt is just not edible so I had to dump it in the trash after trying a few bites. I hope the business owner would take notice and do something about it or this place will just go downhill. read more

Lots of cool and unique vegan options and a funky cool atmosphere makes this place a must visit for a vegan traveling through Spokane. Honestly the "dive bar," types in this city are my very favorite. The chill, laid back, weekend all day vibes really make me feel at home in Spokane. Neato burrito is PERFECT. The attachment to the Baby Bar and all that makes this place a true gem in Spokane. First - the menu is awesome - all written on the wall with additions and ingredients. We ordered the Vegan Nachos and added meat of course. They were amazing. Probably a top favorite on my list of favorites in this town. The street tacos were to die for, seasoned perfectly. Without a doubt my favorite place to get a burrito! They're more like hipster burritos if I'm being honest. The decor is odd, the furniture not too comfortable, it's kind of dark, but it fits their hipster vibe. I love their tofu option even though I'm not a vegetarian. It's so flavorful! I find myself loving it with their Thai peanut sauce. My vegetarian friends are also huge fans of their tofu option. The service is always excellent and warm. The burritos are huge and for $10, that's a steal of a deal for me! Parking will suck because they're located downtown. They used to have a sign that said if you're on your phone when ordering, you'd have to do jumping jacks. read more
