We ordered here for the first time through Uber Eats and it was delicious. My husband had the 3 enchiladas combo which came with 1 beef, 1 chicken and 1 pork. He choose red enchilada sauce. He really loved the chicken and pork but the beef was tasty too. I had the wet big burrito customized with birria, cheese and paps (no rice or beans) topped with red sauce and it reminds me of the huge NM style burritos I miss so much. The owner was super friendly and she took my order. No one in line. It was made in 5min. It was made fresh. I could feel the heat from the wrapper. Usually I don't buy burritos for breakfast because the size doesn't justify the price, but this place you get your money's worth and then some! It's really good, and filling. Two times I received a chicken bone shard. Now months later I tried again. This time I got a steak burrito, halfway through my $14 "steak burrito with everything" I'm convinced this entire burrito is 95% rice. The burritos have gone from $11 to $14.65. Oh my goodness, let's start with the chicken quesadilla which I didn't get a photo of, nice crispy tortilla, the cheese tasted amazing and it was seasoned nicely that came with a side of coleslaw(or something similar only with cilantro, and lime juice) These tacos though!! The chicken taco was my fiancé's and he really enjoyed it. Mine on the other hand were the pork tacos, so juicy and flavorful! The pork seemed like it had been cooked all night it was so tender!! To top it off the owner is who helped us, she was so welcoming and kind, she even told us about the artist and art inside her place! Had lunch here today, and have to report that they failed miserably in providing a decent meal. The burrito and tacos were about the "WORST" slop that I have seen served in any Mexican restaurant ever!!! Not only overpriced, but gross in presentation and taste. This second rate joint serves watered down soda, salsa, and the sauces, very disappointing. First and last visit here, I have had better quality food off side road truck stop. I've been on the hunt for a really good bean and cheese burrito and this place was pretty good. I realistically would've given them a 3.5 rating if I could because of the price sitting at over $8 for a basic bean and cheese burrito, even though the portion was HUGE I think $6 is a little more appropriate for a plain b&c burrito. I did add extra cheese since most places hardly put any cheese in theirs and I didn't want just beans, with extra cheese my burrito by itself was $10. The tortilla was one of the good ones (iykyk), the beans had good flavor and texture, the cheese was okay but that could also be because of how much cheese they put in it. I LOVEEE cheese and that is my bad for assuming that they wouldn't have put enough cheese in their burrito like every other place but the burrito couldn't even fold up all the way! It was basically like eating a quesadilla with un-melted cheese and a splash of beans, wayyy too much cheese (I never thought I would ever say that!). Again, my fault since I asked for extra, I know better at this place for next time. Their red and green salsas are tasty, the red is "hot" and has better flavor than the green but the green is also flavorful, very mild and almost a little sweet. I don't think that I will be back for a b&c from here for a while due to the price point of one but I will be back to try their street tacos and other burritos! The building is small and run down on the outside but the inside looks clean even though it is still dated, they have booth seating as well. Tortillas and steak are sensationally made with patience and care . A hole in the wall that you have probably driven by 100 times without noticing. They have THE BEST hard shell taco's in town. They are loaded with delicious juicy meet. They also have fresh juice-pineapple and mango. I've seen their burritos and they are enormous. Where else can you get 2 tacos and fresh juice for $15.00 with tip. I usually eat between 3 and 4 and they are always much faster that going to a fast-food restaurant. You don't always get your water cup filled because the owner (who is usually the only counter person during the day) has to wait on both the drive thru and tables but she is always available to flag down if you need something. read more
