Wow!!! Its so cheesy good to accidentally discover Neal's Yard Dairy. We popped in here one day purely out of curiousity. The next thing we know we were hooked. This is the place to satiate your taste buds and learn about your food all at the same time. It has been such a wonderful experience coming here thus far. Each time we come in we feel as if we are given a personal and expert attention by the staff. They assisted us in selecting the cheese/s we want, provided us with sample slices, giving us background of where the cheese originated as well as its age. They were also very patient in answering our questions as well as making expert recommendations. From what we have learned, they sell local cheeses from London and within UK as well as from other countries. We recently got this wonderful cheese from the US (Wisconsin) that they get only once a year. It was really delicious! We also had some scrumptious cheddar, goat and blue cheese that we purchase regularly. Price-wise this is within the average range. Expect to spend £20 or more but you will surely enjoy. Tip: Be sure to keep your receipts as the names of the cheese/s are printed there so it will be easy to remember for next time.

Amazing...the ultimate visit for any cheese lover. Goat cheese, blue, cheese and a variety of everything else you could imaging. Superdelish! If you're anything like me -- I like to snag a late night snack when traveling. Snag a bottle of wine and some cheese / crackers from Neals Yard Dairy....and you have a heavenly late night snack. A must visit...

An amazing cheese shop that you simply must visit. Neal's Yard carries the finest artisan cheeses in the UK. They sparked the slow food movement in Europe and the United States. Great cheeses that are hand crafted and high quality. You won't regret visiting here, they are extraordinary. We were treated to lots of samples and a fascinating introduction to the shop. Wonderful!

Neal's Yard Dairy in Covent Garden is an amazing cheese shop. There are cheese shops and there are cheese shops, this is THE cheese shop! When I go in it smells wonderfully of cheese! They have a wide variety of fantastic British cheeses in the case and I always spend several minutes just going through the case trying to figure out what I want. The staff is great and to help me with my selection they are happy to cut off slices of as many cheeses as you like. Just a tip, if you have them cut off several slices of cheese please make sure you don't leave the shop empty handed, to be honest, I just don't see how that's possible. After you taste the cheese you won't be able to leave Neal's Yard empty handed. I know that for me, whenever I enter Neal's Yard I walk away with a lighter wallet but happy taste buds.

Great cheese place in Covent Garden! So many delicious cheese options and they will let you try little pieces to see if you like it! We had a really nice cheddar from here. A great place to grab cheese if you are in the area and moderately priced!

It's hard to think that I've been shopping from them since they started up in Neal's Yard (30 Years ago?) and thankfully they have pretty much retained the high quality over the years. Their stilton, cheshire, cheddars are all excellent. They do aim for and achieve a certain rustic-ness that will not be to everyone's taste, but I know it is to mine. I've often bought cheese from here to take to a dinner party as an unusual gift. They also make excellent sandswiches from their cheese - not to be forgotten if you are in the area at lunchtime!

Fantastic service and selection of cheeses. Enjoy your walk around vendors at Borough Market but ensure you stop at this establishment on the edges.

They are a producer/selector of artisan cheeses from Switzerland and are changing the way people think about Swiss Cheese. All of the unique products at Jumi Cheese are produced by four family-run dairies in the Emmental region of Switzerland. The cows that supply the milk for Jumi's dairies feed on fresh grass and hay, and the farmers start and end the process by hand. Their 'stall' is located in the Three Crown Square section of Borough Market and features a range of cheeses like Belper Knolle, a specialty of theirs, spahn, goat cheese, truffle cheese and more. They first came on my radar when I saw a video on social media featuring their 'brain cheese.' The cheese resembles small mammalian brains at various stages of decay with it's fuzzy layer of blue mold surrounding the fist size balls. This one of the mouldiest cheeses you can buy in the UK and for some strange strange reason.... I just had to try it. And so, I've had this bookmarked for years for the moment I'd be back in London. At first glance, the Blue Brain cheese looked a bit intimidating. Are we sure about this? Will my stomach survive this? The questions tried to dissuade us to no avail. At about £9.90, the cheese was more affordable than I anticipated. We bought one for the road and magically, it mostly survived hours in our bag, lol. If you plan on sightseeing more after the market, I'd suggest bringing a smaller cooler or find a small bag of ice or frozen veggies in a nearby store to keep it cool. Once we got home, we dug in. The cheese was very pungent! And despite it's appearance, this had to be one of the smoothest, most flavorful blue cheese I've ever had. Wow, I was pretty amazed and happy that we went for it. The flavor is strong, but not overwhelming and I honestly really liked it. We paired it with some crackers and jam (apricot or peach, can't remember which exactly) and it was the perfect way to end our evening. For the food adventurous, I'd definitely recommend trying the blue brain cheese ;)

Sometimes derided by locals as a tourist trap, it is…read morenonetheless a haven for foodies like myself With so many wonderful stalls to peruse, this stall holds the distinction of the stall which I purchase from the most often. If you're a regular there and you don't remember seeing a sign saying Italainate, it's because there isn't one! People know it as the Parma Ham and Mozzarella Stall. Indeed , it is listed as such on the Borough Market website As its nickname suggest, they specialise in just 2 products but the mozzarella and Parma ham are the very bst quality, imported directly from Italy. The stallholder, Philip Crouch sources directly from the producer, Saint Ilario The mozzarella is an unpasteurised buffalo mozzarella from Campagnia - they come in 100g and 250g sizes as well as in mini balls. They also do a delicious burrata, which has cream added into the cheese-making process to make the cheese even more creamy The Parma ham has an amazing depth of flavour - I actually prefer it to the more revered Iberico ham. This is moister and trades some saltiness for flavour. You can either buy the ham in sealed packs which is better if you want to keep it. However, I prefer to to get the freshly sliced ham which is better if you will consume it within a few days - doesn't usually last that long in my house So, when you're in Borough Market, swing round to their stall in the Green Market and try a sample. You'll be hooked!
