The company that manufactured (and guaranteed) the rooftop modules, Fafco, went out of business last November. My warranty was with Pure PWR and not Fafco, so I wasn't worried about being left in the lurch. A couple of weeks ago one of the Fafco panels sprung a leak, and I called Pure PWR to deal with it. They sent out a repairman who fixed the problem without needing to replace the damaged panel. Pure PWR didn't charge me a penny for this, because they were honoring their warranty. I'm updating my review here to say how impressed I am with how well they honored their warranty even though the deck was stacked against them. They could have waved their hands and mumbled something about how it wasn't their fault -- which it wasn't -- but that's not what they did. They honored the warranty, fixed the problem, and didn't charge me anything. Yay for Pure PWR Pools.

The installation crew came out and they were EVEN better than the customer service and sales rep. Eduardo Naranjo needs a promotion and a raise. The man was so humble, genuine and all around a great guy. He dealt with my kids and many dogs with no fear lol. He was professional and kept me apprised of everything the crew was doing. At then end of the installation I was sad to see the man and his team go because they were so personable and efficient. Our single family home in Carlsbad was in need of a new roof and we decided it was time to get modern with solar and some window & door replacements. Through our bidding process, RC Energy came out the lowest and Justin was cordial and honest about the entire process and costs upfront. We knew this was going to be a big project and Justin explained the entire process. Our work included: full re-roof (tear-off, new underlayment, new concrete tiles, wood repair, full fascia board replacement & painting, 18 PV solar panel array + electrical/RMA, new sliding glass door, three kitchen windows and two new solar-powered skylights in our living room. There was a big chunk of extra cost for roof wood repairs we knew was coming (dry rot and previous termite damage to sheathing & rafter tails) but the costs were understandable given the hours of extra labor, and the quality of carpentry work spearheaded by Ivan was exceptional. Nice windows and doors from Amerimax combined with the new roof tiles and fascia has really given our home a modernized curb appeal and the new skylights have changed the entire feel of our dark living room. Solar went live in May/June and boy is it nice to see our bills reduced next to nothing, especially with our EV charging and AC unit. Justin's communication was great, keeping us updated in advance of each major step in the project. Total project work time was 2/3 weeks and we are more than satisfied with the outcome. The provided the best value and Gilbert, the project manager was able to provide me with an instance quote as he had already pulled the satellite imagery for my house. He was very professional and answered all my initial questions and even provided me with recommendations on underlayment to use, of which he had a sample to provide. Minas was the head installer it seemed (all people are internal employees with Aloha and work is NOT contracted out, that was a big seller for us), and two other guys Rigo and Matt.
