I called after several weeks and he promised he'd have the problem diagnosed within the next couple days and call me back. Several additional weeks went by and I called again with the same response, and then once more a few weeks later- a total of 2 months of wait time without any progress or evidence that anything was done at all. I eventually gave up and got my laptop back myself to look at. Googling my error messages indicated that my RAM was faulty, and after replacing the RAM (a 15-minute procedure), my laptop works fine. It took me ~30 minutes of total active time to troubleshoot and solve this problem that I had previously waited 2 months for the owner to fix. I'd guess that Alex was overcommitted with fixing other machines to focus on mine, which is fine if he told me a realistic estimate (i.e. "I'm really busy right now, but check back in a month and I'll give you an update). Instead I got drip-fed inaccurate timeline estimates. Overall, I find it difficult to reccomend going to this business to get your problem fixed unless you have a really easy software issue to diagnose/fix on the spot.

I called up this location on Memorial Day Holiday and was told to be patient because they needed to order a new speaker for my phone. Apparently the speaker blew out and I was extremely worried that I'd be charged a lot of money to fix it; but surprisingly everything was completely complimentary today! Daniel encouraged me to bring my phone in today and because he had other orders ahead of mine he told me to wait three hours and everything would be complete. He even allowed me to bring my great pyrenees puppy to the store this afternoon so we made it a fun outing all day and I took my pup to all the local coffee shops, bakeries and dog parks as we waited for my phone to be fixed. When I came back I mentioned that my Galaxy S9 plus also had an issue charging properly. I had a hunch the port might be filled with dirt and lint because the charger didn't want to stay all the way in. Ok, now I brought my computer back when I had the time to under their one year warranty, and now not only are they saying that the damage had to be external and that the computer was working when they have no proof of that besides their diagnostics notes, they are accusing me of trying to bring back a damaged computer. They say they will call us on such and such date and never return my calls. I have had to call them directly at least four times with no answers. At this point, I want a refund and they'll get a complaint to the BBB. If you can't fix the problem, which wasn't caused by significant damage to begin with, then tell me that so I can take it to the brand manufacturer instead of wasting my time on this company and it's BS. I already paid a significant amount of money and just want a functioning computer. The customer service is absolutely trash at this location; find another place to fix your devices.

Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.

Moved up several levels in the hierarchy of experts, but they could not solve the problem. I went to the "Genius" Bar at the Apple Store on North Avenue, no go. They referred back to a support department at Apple. These guys sent me an email referring me to Apple Support Online. I don't have time for this! Here is what Should have done in the first place. I called Mac Tutor. They sent Joshua Horsley. He solved the problem. I have used Mac Tutor in the past and in my opinion these guys are way more knowledgeable than any Apple "Genius." If you do not mind spending a little money to save a lot of time, this is the place to call. And it is not just the time, they get the job done right. Someone, please help.
