This is the best nail salon I've been to, reasonable prices, and I left better than I came. I had to get my toes done before work with my sisters and they ended up opening the store early and getting all 3 of us in. We were laughing the whole time, the quality of my nails were amazing I struggled finding a good salon with fun colors, good service and good pricing and this one took the cake I will only come here read more

A hard pass on this place. I'm so embarrassed to show my hands because of how terribly they painted my nails. The girl totally rushed and didn't even cut my cuticles. She literally painted gel polish on top of my cuticles. The paint job is very splotchy and uneven. She got polish all over my skin. When she was taking off my acrylics, she kept on burning my finger. She didn't even ask what shape I wanted my nails. Smh. The guy who did my toes, however, did a great job! He took his time and the polish is even and beautiful. I can't wait to go to a different salon to take my nails off asap!! read more

I scheduled a visit for my mother for Mother's Day and their phone etiquette here is wonderful. They're also open on Sundays so that is a plus. My daughter also joined my mother and had a manicure. My mom received a powder gel manicure and it came out really well. I was happy with the round shape of her nails because many of her nails were chipping and short. It's hard to find a decent nail salon in this area let alone open on Sunday. read more

I requested Chevron's\French V. She didn't airbrush them, she freehanded them. I love working with the people here they always remember me, my daughter, and that we bring my grandson in with us. They are so patient and good with him. Since I moved here, I really haven't found a place that has blown me away with massages. I remember with manicures, people spent plenty of time massaging your arms. Pedicures I prefer a massage over a rub. read more

I'm in NC visiting family and needed a balance (also broke my nail) and found this place with mixed reviews and it's open on a Sunday so I decided to give it a shot. For the past 2/3 years I've been stuck on one nail salon when I'm home so I was hesitant but my sister wanted to go too. Pros- walked in with a wait, but they were very accommodating to get everyone seated and worked on in a good time frame. Pricing was good--full set gel $50 & a balance with gel $30 Cons- didn't have that many gel color options. Thinned down my nail A LOT. I felt like my nail tech was moving pretty fast and not efficiently. The shapes not great. The polish is a mess. The salon itself was clean and the people working were nice. Not ever salon is going to be perfect, but I enjoy reading both the good and the bad so that's why I share it. read more

First time at this nail salon. Very nice people. Great customer service. I paid for the special pedicure and the massage is listed as "extra massage" but I feel like it was a total of 10 minutes for both legs. I like to get a pedicure not only for pretty toes, but for the massage and to relax. Other than that, the place seemed very clean and they played happy relaxing music. He did my nails very carefully and thoughtfully. I love all the color options and I love my toes. read more

Went in for the first time, and had a full set done. I am visiting my husband who is stationed here, as I am stationed in Florida. The staff was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I was immediately sat and taken care of. I didn't get the name of who the gentleman who did my nails, but he did them very efficiently, all the while making sure I liked them. They turned out amazing and I didn't have to spend all day at the salon. Will make sure to stop in during my next visit to Jacksonville!!! read more

So upset with this Salon. Came in for a Pedicure and Manicure. The lady that worked on both didn't speak or understand English. I asked her to cut my toenails and she barely trimmed. She didn't even clean underneath my nails. The manicure was worse. I came in with longs nails that have taken me awhile to grow. She said, "cut?" and my mistake for thinking she was just going to trim again. She cut them all down. I was so mad. I said square and she rounded. No gloves, barely soaked my nails. She kept using a rough napkin to dry my nails as she trimmed my cuticles. Instead of using lotion on my hands to massage, she used cuticle oil with her rough hands. She didn't even ask me to wash. Sat with oily arms and hands as she painted my nails. They are completely botchy. I don't recommend going here. read more

I've been here twice now and both times I've had someone different but they are very precise in their work. The first time I had made an appointment at a different salon and waited over 35 minutes to be seen, both times I've made an appointment here and was seen right away. The nail technicians are very respectful and my pedicures last at least a week. Definitely my go to spot read more

Had to get my nails done while I was out of town traveling for business and I was looking for a nail salon that was open on Sunday. Not many of those...Needless to say I was skeptical and did a lot of research. I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received here. Everyone was friendly even though it was quite busy. This place was dirty. They didn't clean anything between people. There was someone's dirty old nail laying right next to my hand. He didn't put a cloth down so I had to lay my whole arm on the dirty countertop while he did my nails. On top of it being disgusting, those were the worst nails I've ever got done. I spent $95 on a full set and pedicure and ended up taking them off after a couple of days. They also scraped the side of my toe and made it bleed while scrubbing my feet. Don't waste your money here. read more

I used to go to a different nail salon here in Jacksonville to get my nails done or filled. Yesterday, I decided to go to NC nails, because that day it was just convenient for me coz it's near my place anyway, I just walked in. I had to wait for about 15-20 mins, which I really didnt mind. Once I got seated I showed the nail tech what I wanted done. I asked her to reshape my stilleto nails into an almond one. Turned out PRETTY GREAT. First time I had my nails filled quick but very symmetrical in shape. Ive never been in a nail salon that did my nails this perfect . read more

I came here on Saturday to get my nails done. I had acrylic already on my nails because the previous nail salon I went to made my natural nails break. The guy who started doing my nails I gave him a little back story on why I had the acrylic on and asked him if he took it off would my natural nails be strong enough. He said no he would suggest that I keep the acrylic on. I said okay and he starts filing nails and he leaves and comes back with a bowl full of aceton. He proceeds to put my hand in the bowl after we just talked about it would be better for me to keep the acrylic on.. I say nothing he proceeds to finish my nails I pay and I leave... Not even 2 hours after getting my nails done 3 of them break. I wasn't doing any strenuous activities to cause the breakage. I call the shop the next morning because they were closed. I speak to a lady tell her my nails broke and I had just got them done yesterday. She tells me no problem I can come in to get them done but they close at 5pm. I asked her if Monday would be better she says yes! Fast forward to today I got to the shop right at 5 and everyone is busy doing a service. She asks what I came in for I said I spoke to someone about getting my nails fixed. She then asks if I could come back in 45 mins which i said okay and waited in my car for 50 min. I come back in nobody says anything and all the people that were in there when I first came in had left and they were working on new people. This guy finished with one of his clients and he told me to come. I explain why I was there showed him my nails and he tells me I'll have to come back tomorrow because the guy that did my nails isn't here. Now I'm upset at this point because I just waited in the car for basically an hour to be told come back tomorrow. So I ask if I can speak to the lady that told me 45 mins. she comes out she says can I see your nails I show her then she tries to say I didn't tell her it was 3 nails that were broke and I need to come back tomorrow because the guy that did them isn't here. I told her I can't come tomorrow because I'm going out of town that's why I came Saturday to get my nails done. She's basically going back and forth with me at this point and I just stop her and simply can you fix my nails or not. And she said they could but they would charge me because the guy that did them isn't here.. So UNPROFESSIONAL now I'm stuck with broken nails. read more

The only place I go to to get my nails done while in Jacksonville. For the reviews that say they do nails quickly- yes it's true. But, I don't see how that's a bad thing considering that they last weeks and aren't poorly done. The employees are very kind, and helpful. Attached are photos of two very different designs both done there! They are also priced very well! If you're thinking about going- Go. read more

I got a pedicure today, and it was overall disappointing. The hot towels were not hot. While he was removing my gel in the beginning he had the machine way to high and clipped my toes many times. I still have the Paraffin wax all over my feet, and the "hot stones" were definitely not relaxing one bit. I left feeling oily, Waste of $80... They also we're very unsanitary. The toe divider things are reused. They just stick them in one drawer to reuse. read more

This was my first time coming to NC nails. I asked for a gel manicure and was taken to a desk right away. I asked for a French manicure which she didn't a lovely job at but I didn't receive the manicure part she only changed my gel polish which I was a little annoyed about since on the price board it said $20 to change polish $25 for manicure. I was definitely looking forward to the manicure part! I will be giving them another try as long as the polish holds up well for the next two weeks. read more
