I told the man I would pay for mine, but if he wanted to take my daughters off I would pay for the nails themselves, but they were awful. $95 just for hers and I'm going to have to go tomorrow to get them redone somewhere else. He didn't offer a discount. I asked what are my options he said 95$ or I can call the cops so I said call the cops.. Still had to pay full price for awful nails. Horrible customer service. read more

The worst nail experience I have ever had. This is my second time coming and I knew better than to return again, but I did so because of convenience. The first photo is my nails from Nail Art located in Wilmington. I loved them but I was in Jacksonville and decided to get a fill-in while there. Unfortunately I don't have a photo, but the nail tech used a different color ombré and you could tell where she added new acrylic. The acrylic also began to lift only a week after getting them done. Against my better judgement I decided to come in again for another fill-in because I was in Jacksonville and had the time. I was with a different nail tech and who I'm assuming to be the owner (he was constantly stopping to answer the phone and get other customers started). He asked me if I wanted them cut down and I said a little bit and as you can see from the photo, a little bit is not what I got. My nails are uneven and the shape is some odd mixture between coffin and stiletto. I've learned my lesson and I will not be returning. read more

Great place !!! i needed a nail place to go to and this was the only one open on sunday. they were short staffed so they had a waiting time and we waited 30 min and came back and he did our pedicure and then we both got full sets. the sets were $30 and since i got long coffin nails, mine were $40 but that is still cheap so i was very happy with the pricing. they did a great job on our nails and the nail tech was super funny and nice and he did anything i asked him to. he made sure i liked the nails and that the water wasn't too hot. this was a great place to go too. they got us done fast !! read more

I do not go and get my nails done often. The last time was like two years ago. My daughter gets hers done, and they last well over two weeks, as did mine the last time I had them done. However, this time I thought I'd do a little something for myself and get mine done. Four of mine popped off after 8 days. I call and he tells me to come back in. Then tells me he's gonna charge me to redo the four. Saying they don't guarantee they stay on longer than a few days. After the previous guy said they should last two to three weeks. So I say fine, just take the other six off. He wants to charge me $20 to take those off. When it doesn't even cost that to have all ten removed. I should have waited and went to the same place I went to before. They didn't even look remotely like the picture I showed. But, the other guy was so impressed with his own work, saying they looked better than the picture, I didn't want to break it to him, they didn't. And my husband tipped him $10 too because he was so nice. This guy today wasn't as nice. Now I am left with 6 less than mediocre nails and my 4 natural nails, bc I refused to pay him to remove 6 for more than it would cost to remove 10. Will not be going back to Paris Nails Spa. The one star can be attributed to the fact that the original guy was so nice. read more

Very disappointed! After being totally unhappy with my 1st full set, I decided to go back and give this place of business a second chance. We all have bad days I thought. Sad to say I'm as unhappy if not more so with this set. My daughter went with me and had her nails done as well and she is as disappointed and unhappy with her set as I am with mine. The very same night she had her nails done her polish started chipping. The employees are nice but the work is under par to say the least! Let me start off by saying that the staff are very friendly and nice! Held conversation and just overall nice! But I didn't have a good experience with how my nails turned out. The first time within half an hour of leaving two of my nails had peeled up (I got acrylic with gel). So I called and they had me come back in right away to fix them and apologized profusely. The UV light that they had used was dying so that made complete sense to me! No big deal, they fixed it and I went on my way. Less than 24 hrs later and three of my nails have peeled and look awful! So I'm going to cut my losses and try somewhere else to get them fixed! read more

My friend and I went to get our nails done. Her customer service was amazing!!!! Mine was fine. Just my guy didn't talk to me but he did his thang so I'm really not trippin like that. But my friends nail before we even hit 24 hours. Which is not okay. So we just came back up here and he's charging her another $5 for them to replace it. Great place. Some of the co-workers are careless when they are doing their jobs. But if you don't care then that's fine, however that bothers me. Other than that like I said it's a great place. They place instrumental music in the background. And it's satisfying to listen to. I don't think it should've been an extra $5 I think it should've been free because we got here around 11 of yesterday and it's not 11 right now. ANYWAY. They also take their time. This place is great. I got a full set with dipping powder and a pedicure. The gel polish on my toes recently came off and it's been over a month since my visit. My nails lasted a few days shy of 2 weeks. I started noticing air bubbles around the edges and a couple of the nails started coming up. All in all it was way worth the money! The only reason they're getting two stars instead of one is because they did an ok job on my eyebrows the other day. This was my second time getting a gel manicure and pedicure here. I decided this time I didn't want a gel pedicure, just a regular one. I was told it would be $5 to get the old gel off, ok, fine, I mean it's gotta come off so that wasn't a problem. My problem is for the second time, I have received terrible customer service. I thought the first time it was just a bad day, whatever. But this time was just awkward. My toes are already smugged and my nails have dead skin around them still. I don't feel like a gel manicure plus a basic pedicure was worth $63. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I went to this place with Hugh hopes, just after moving to Jacksonville. I went in to get acrylics with gel polish. The guy redid two of my nails before he let me pay, which I liked at first because I thought it meant he was really particular about having good work. HOWEVER. I was wrong. I had to come back the very next day because the gel polish was already coming off. He redid the nails that were messed up, and he used a different lamp saying that "Oh, that other lamp was old, this one should work now", and then off I went. I felt a little iffy at this point but it wasn't until the NEXT DAY when I had to come back to get them fixed AGAIN that I was pissed. Turns out, after he redid them with the new lamp, the polish continued to come off and that's incredibly upsetting because gel acrylics aren't cheap. However, I was so done at this point and was already visiting the place for the third time that week, and I didn't want to make that a fourth. I walked in on that third day, and had a lady that works beside my original nail tech take off the polish for me. Even though she wasn't the one who screwed up multiple times, she fixed the problem for me for free, and understood my frustrations as if she knew the other nail tech was terrible. I tipped her and I left. All in all, I can do my own nails better than that man could ever do, and so when I got home from having the polish removed, that's exactly what I did. I'll never go to that place again, but I do appreciate that other nail tech lady helping validate what happened to me. read more

ok so... i got a fill & chrome for $45. i came in with a nail that was barely on and needed fix. two days later that same nail came off while i was doing laundry.. and they charged me $6 to fix it. why charge me for something that was supposed to be fixed two days prior? nc nail salons charge for everything! even the length of a nail that is already long before you cut it. jessica does a great job so, i recommend her! read more

Ive been here 2 times and the shaping of the nail is good but the nail itself has no dimension & flat. They over charge for everything. I payed $60 total the first time for a FILL with 2 accent nails on each hand. More like a Full set price. The 2nd time i went i payed a total of $80 for a full set; stiletto, 1 nail design on each hand & a small stone on 4/5 fingers on each hand that ended up coming off in 4 days. My 2 sister in laws and I went to this nail salon and i have to say the customer service was good but the way the lady that did my pedicure and my full set wasn't that great. I got the deluxe pedi and the pedi last less than 20 mins, she was doing the scrub on my legs and she was very rough that it didn't feel so great. I had a hard time relaxing because she was so rough the entire pedi. When I got my full set she was drilling and cut me 4 times and didn't apologize. The gel polish was really thick and lumpy. She did my pedi and full set within 45 mins, she was really fast and I've never had a pedi or full set done that fast. The same lady that did my nails did my older sister in laws nail and cut a big chunk off of the side of her index finger and didn't apologize to her for it. All she said was "you have really thin cuticles" and laughed. My younger sister in law had no complaints, she said the lady that did her pedi was good and the guy that did her mani was good. Until today, she messaged me that her gel polish on her fingers were coming off. We got our nails done last Saturday and it's only been 3 days. Lengthy, but informative. Well, where do I start about Paris Nails???. When the business was Foxy Nails that business was booming and always full with people waiting. Now, as Paris Nails it's gone way down hill. When Richard was at Paris Nails he did a fabulous job; but when I went back he was gone. Had nails done by Jessica end of May. Had 3 break or come off and I repaired with my own home kit. Went Aug 2 & told her about the 3 I fixed. On Aug 2 Jessica again did and the nails looked great. Got up this morning 8-12-19 and one nail broke off evidently during the night while sleeping. Went to the shop and they were not opened at the scheduled time, so I waited. l don't know the mgr's name, but he leaves a lot to be desired. He says they chg $6 for repair but he would do for free this time. Told him it'd be free anytime a nail breaks or falls off within a few days or weeks. As he was replacing the nail I said to him he put it on lopsided and he didn't like it. Been getting my nails done for over 25+yrs (probably longer than he has been doing nails) and when I ask for a certain way for things to be done I expect them to be done and not have someone tell me he's the professional, when I'm the one paying. Next problem is when I went in on 8-2, I got a full set of gel nails. As I was recuperating from back surgery I did not check the price list (my fault I guess), but Jessica chgd me $60 and I gave a $5 tip. When I went in for repair today 8-12-19 I looked at price list and a full set is only $45. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! Told the guy-mgr and he didn't seem like he was ready to refund me the $15.00; but said he would mention to Jessica. BE WARE IF YOU DECIDE TO PATRONIZE THIS SHOP. Girls are nice.
