    Red roots/ black hair. Which I asked for neither. Hair dye all over my head and scalp. To black hair!!

    I have been coming to Wild Olive for almost 3 years now. I came in this past Friday to see Rimika my normal stylist for a simple all over color and haircut. We looked at swatches together and picked the perfect brown. Well little did I know the owner Lisa and manager Hayli don't stock the hair colors and dye in the back like they should, which resulted in Rimika dying my hair RED!!!! Rimika told me the owner doesn't supply them with that they need so she had to mix formulas together in hopes to find the brown we decided on. Well this is the Owners "Lisa" problem but also Rimika's problem. If she did not have the correct hair color in the back she should have been up front and honest. Well after turning my hair red,. She tried to fix it by toning my hair. Well I got home and my hair is blackish and the ends of my hair and RED at the root. Well I messaged Rimika immediately and told her we have to fix this. So I returned to the salon the next day Saturday. She tried to dye my hair again and toned it. Well sure enough it's still RED!!! I was told by Rimika that the only way she could cover the red, she had dyed my hair the previous day was to go jet black. Well now my hair has been dyed/toned 5 times in 24 hours. It's dry/burnt. We quite naturally I asked for a refund. Well I was denied the refund. I've ask 3 times to please refund my money. I didn't ask for red hair!!! I didn't ask for black hair!!! The owner Lisa, Hayli and Jalisa at the front office refuse to give me a refund. I will post photos below of my hair and my poor burnt scalp. They won't even honor a deep condition treatment. Please stay far away from Wild Olive. They don't care one bit about you or your hair. Lisa Sanger should be ashamed of how this is being handled.

    The location is pretty good. Easy to find. The young lady who welcomed me was sweet. She offered me coffee, then asked me if it was true I hadn't had a haircut in ten years. We laughed and chat for a bit while the stylist finished up her client and happily welcomed me over. I was 10-15 minutes early and got started exactly on time. I noticed everyone was very good about sanitizing and cleaning. The stylists seemed professional and friendly while I was observing. The decor in the waiting area was awkwardly placed and sort of dated. There was some sort of either burn marks or hair die on some of the chairs? I couldn't tell, I just knew it needed to be replaced. MY hair has not had much action, obviously, but I have award winning colorists and salon owners in my family, so I tend to notice the set up of the establishments when I walk in. The salon itself didn't look bad. Just a few little things I noticed. The young lady who cut my hair was SO helpful and reassuring. I instantly knew she was genuinely listening to my concerns, desires and I felt heard. So I was ready for my first hairstyle. While she was finishing up, one of her coworkers walked by and said "oh don't worry, I'll go shampoo your next client since she's been waiting forever." As she ushered the client along, openly glaring in our direction. The poor girl looked at me embarrassed, then looked back at her snarky coworker and said "I'm so sorry, I didn't realize she was here. I lost track of time." So, here both of us are. Feeling awkward and rushed. The client getting a shampoo probably felt uncomfortable too. I don't think I need to elaborate how this should've gone differently and how it would've been beneficial to everyone had the rude woman (not the same one who checked me in) just communicated to my stylist that her next client was here. My hair came out fabulous. She did the closest thing to what I wanted, given my hair being so thin. I'm extremely happy with it, and I've been trying out some things she taught me. She took what I wanted, applied it best she could to my hair type without butchering my natural aesthetic. Educated me and helped me feel comfortable. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes. Clean? Yes. Professional? Mostly. Good products? (I'm still researching but seems to be a yes.)

    Extensions falling out

    I went here expecting amazing work but I was kinda disappointed. I got extensions and payed a total of $800 for the hair, service,etc. within a week many of the beads fell out and the hair did to. I went back and they fixed it for free, then another part is now falling out. She really didn't listen to what we wanted done. I have natural curly hair and asked for the curly extensions and she ordered the straighten ones. We also ask for the roots to be faded because my natural hair is dark and right now I'm blonde and she ordered all blonde. The girl wanted to tone my hair to match the extensions better and whatever she used didn't work. So many people have pointed out the difference in colors. We paid $150 and hour (they told us it was $135 but up charged us) for their service and I was expecting better. Wasn't expecting for my extensions to become undone at all. I think it didn't help that she was actually timing herself while she was doing these trying to hurry them up. There are girls there who just sit around and just talk to the people doing hair and it does get annoying because it's making them lose concentration on what they are doing. I'm sad to say, but I will not be returning to the wild olive salon. If you want extensions I do not recommend them.

    Wanted to try something new so I went in for a pixie cut and I don't regret it! Stylists are skilled and their customer service is on par. Highly recommend this place!

    Just wanted people to see how they handle customer issues. I'm not sure where she got that I wasn't happy but knew they would lighten up and fall out, the girl made me look like a drag queen when I asked for "natural-looking" lashes. Then I learned she hadn't isolated my lashes so they were all clumped together meaning I lost a massive amount of lashes, my eyes are damn near bald from what this girl did. My emails were ignored for days so I posted a review, she wasted no time letting me know that now that my review was posted she didn't care what her salon had done to me.

    There was a hair mishap that happened when I first visited the salon. Lisa reached back out to me to come in so she could fix it. And that she did! She did a beautiful job! I thought we would have to dye my hair brown due to the previous issue but she was able to get it to a beautiful red. I'll for sure be going back to see her again. Thanks Lisa!

    Before extensions.

    I got my extensions done today by Doron and they look AMAZING. She took her time with each weft and ktip and made sure they were placed perfectly. I went in for a consultation three days ago where she explained all the upkeep and installation. She worked around my cowlick and very fine hair. I cannot recommend her enough!!! She made me feel absolutely gorgeous and was such a fun person to sit and chat with. Cannot wait to have her take care of my hair for my time here in Jacksonville. If you're thinking of getting any extensions go to Doron!

    Loving this second location. I'd still drive to either location because i absolutely love the service and always leave loving my hair. As a long time patron, i couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Online booking, excellent reminder notices, ease in rescheduling...and thats just the front desk. The staff is awesome, very skilled in a variety of services and worth every penny.

    Hair is getting better with Aveda products.

I also got a tinting done and I just love what Renee did! Her prices are very reasonable and she offers other services! You'll find Beauty Elements in the center of the buildings that Google Maps takes you. When you enter you'll hear the chimes they have on their door and will be greeted right away. The first person I met was Midge. She's one of the ladies that works at Beauty Elements and she's very friendly and welcoming. She was also nice enough to offer me something to drink while I waited for Renee. The space they're in is nice and comforting. Again, I highly recommend coming here if you need an eyebrow person!!!

When I walked in I was asked if I needed to use the restroom and then someone had walked into the restroom so I was told to sit down in the front. In the package it says to arrive 30 minutes early to enjoy mimosas and sweet treats. I did not get taken back to the relaxation room until I stood up and said something. They were too busy chit chatting than worrying about their customer. Finally I was taken back to the relaxation room about 10 minutes before my massage. When I walked in I was shocked they had camper chair for us to sit in, in a so called "relaxation" room. I literally had to chug down my drink and sweet treats before my massage. Finally the massage. ABSOLUTE worst massage I've ever received. The lady spent more time putting the mint oil infront of my nose than actually massage my neck and shoulders, which was literally suffocating. I was also told that hot stone would be included. I had maybe 5 minutes of hot stone on my back and then another 5 minutes of her massaging my back. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. My husband booked this massage as a postpartum gift since I just went through an emergency c section and he just wanted me to have a day of relaxation. I left there extremely upset and frustrated instead of feeling good. I ended up leaving a review that night which I've never left a review in my life. And then they replied and was told in the reply if I was open to it they'd like to discuss this further. I called the spa 3 times and the first time I called I was told I would probably just get a refund and that I would be getting a call back. Every other time I called I was given the runaround and told I would be getting a call back. Finally this morning I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was not nice at all and told me because I left a review she will not be giving me any type of compensation. She literally said that because I left a review for the public to see she will not be helping me. I didn't know that I wasn't entitled to leave a review of my experience and because I did I will not be helped. Absolute insanity. Worst customer service and WORST "spa" I've ever been to. Stay away from this horrid place.

They were super communicative and got me set up. Such a clean and inviting location and the staff is great. If you've ever been to a nail salon before, you know that you go in for one thing and the amount can bloom and have you in your feelings. I am glad to report that I didn't have to experience any of that on my visit. Located in a bustling outdoor shopping corridor next to Sam's Club, parking is dynamic but wasn't an issue when I visited. Be forewarned, they do not accept American Express for payment. Probably because of the high fees associated in doing so. They are capable of accepting contactless pay, cash and other credit cards. There was not a charge to pay via credit cards at the time of my visit. The areas were well lit, and things were orderly. I was taken to the pedicure chairs and it was only delayed because I spent time trying to decide what color I'd like. The most refreshing thing about this visit was how the technician explained to customers in terms they could understand and when I inquired about whether I should keep my gel polish on, she gave straight answers and it was never an upsell. That was appreciated because some places will put acrylic over a nail with fungus if it means they'll make some money off of you. It was a good experience. The only detractor was that I had to point out to the guy performing my pedicure where to give attention to based on the level of pedicure I paid for. I finally got here today, and I am thrilled. I was a walk in, I wanted acrylic removed, and I wanted Gel-X which I've had done for 5 years. AND, I wanted Cat's Eye Magnetic Gel. In 30 seconds, I was seated, I was looking at colors, and Tallie (I think that's her name) was on the job. She was efficient, and expert at her job. The salon is clean, quiet, spacious with a convenient location and tons of parking. Their prices are very reasonable. Next visit, I'll add a pedicure.
