I love that this business offers online booking because I was able to book my appointment while on my lunch break without having to give up any of my free time. Upon arriving at the salon, all workers in the store were following the guidelines laid out for businesses during COVID. Nikki was extremely professional and did amazing work! I believe she is the owner of the establishment. She made me feel extremely comfortable and always made sure that I was doing okay throughout the entire experience. I was able to try out "sugaring" for the first time at this salon. It was much less painful than waxing and did not make my face break out hours after my appointment. I came two or three times for sugaring of my bikini and backside. The first time, there was a lot of hair left behind. Figured maybe because I grew it out. The second time I came there was SO much left behind and they were PLENTY long enough to have been pulled out. It was expensive but poorly done. So frustrated. Today I went and got my eyebrows "shaped and tinted", it was my first experience getting them tinted but i really wanted to try it. I read almost all the reviews and viewed the pictures but I still left very unsatisfied. The process took all of 10 min which was shocking to me but the work is very sloppy. I immediately went home to try to fix them with a brow pencil and concealer. I figured this would be a good way to avoid having to fill my eyebrows in so much and it would give me a natural good looking brow on my lazy days but I've learned my lesson that's for sure. I was home visiting family and got my hair done at Koi Salon. I noticed this place was a couple doors down so checked it out. Prices are reasonable and the front desk staff were helpful. I had already checked out one other place and was not impressed with the place or pricing structure. I just wanna know the total damn it. Don't tell me it's 35 for the front and 10 more for bikini line waxing. What kinda shit is that?! Anyway, when I walked into Bodi barr the inside is so calming and cute. They have coffee and tea for guests. I didn't wait that long at all after my appointment time with McKenzie. She was very nice, but I would never go back for a bikini wax. I live in Seattle so I'm used to a certain standard if I'm going to pay good money for a service. First I booked a bikini wax and she asked if I came for sugaring. I didn't and she looked disappointed. After my service I think she is more experienced in sugaring vs waxing. I hardly ever give bad reviews to someone, but this was really bad. I'm no expert, but in the past the technique I'm used to is wiping the area with a cleansing solution, adding powder next, wax, removal of wax, AND clean the wax off for any residual. I ended up wiping the area after she left to clean off the rest of the sticky areas. After my waxing I had the most amazing massage with DOUG. Everything was awesome. His technique , ambience in the room, didn't talk my ear off, and the pressure was spot on. I will definitely call to book him every time I visit my family and will tell every friend that lives local. When paying I was not aware we could split the tip how we wanted so that was nice. I had 2 services and since I came out unsatisfied with my bikini wax the tip was split up according to my satisfaction . I would love to try the other services next times this place has it all and I will definitely be back. 4 stars since the massage was so good and staff was friendly!! read more

I was very skeptical about going to a new salon for my eyelash extensions after a couple of bad experiences. But since they were recommended by another esthetician from another salon I went for it. I must say I was very please and happy to be greeted with smiles! I came in with lash extensions that was in much need of a fill and I had Kim as my lash/brow girl. She did an amazing job working with what I had already! I had d curl volume lashes but they only had d curl singles. And she made them look just like they had volume! Then I had my eyebrows waxed and tinted! And again, I was very please with the work she did on me. I was in and out within an hour. I had scheduled for a full set but had it all done in an hour! So this is a review just on lashes, I have actually had facials at bodi bar and they were fine. So the lashes here are an absolute joke, if youve never had individual lash extensions done and went here for a first experience then I guess you would probly never try them again but luckily Iv had them many times and I know what good work is- my lashes were stuck together, about 40% of them were lashed, so I left looking like I was in desperate need of a fill, and they all fell out in a few days!!! My friend went too for some kind of half set thing they were doing and they literally looked terrible!!! Like only one eye was even half done!! I have just come from California so maybe my standards are higher but I'm so disappointed in the bodi bar lashes, it looks like the work of someone just starting out in lashes and is still needing models :(. I've gotten my eyebrows tinted before for almost double the price at a salon in my home state and left disappointed because I couldn't even see a difference. On a whim, my daughter dragged me to get an eyelash lift and tint. We by chance got an appointment the next day (today) due to some cancellations, good for us. Anyhow, I was taken care of by Kimberly. Had no clue what to expect, had not known of an eyelash lift & tint prior to yesterday. Kim took the time to explain step by step what she was doing and at my request took pictures of the different steps, for me to see after the fact. I went in with no expectations and came out loving the work done. My daughter also had the lift, but she also had her brows shaped and tinted, by Christine. She came out pleased as well. Then we find out that Doug is a massage therapist and does prenatal massages. Needless to say, I have a push gift for my daughter. Yay! I scheduled an appointment for her to see Doug, in two weeks, in hopes that he can manipulate her pressure points and aid in an easy delivery. So, so sad though that we did not find this place earlier (8 months earlier) as we are about to make an out of state move. ;0( read more
