Updating my review since Google hasn't removed it. Originally everything started off great as mentioned, it wasn't until I was familiar with them it went the other way. The nail tech in seat number #1 (I think the owner) rushed through my nails. So much so the first three fingers on one side were filed crookedly. Also I notice anytime a customer brought something to her attention about service during it. She would take it personally and not professionally. Start talking about them in her language to the other people working there. I witnessed this at least three times or more on separate occasions. read more

According to her the previous owner didn't give her the yelp account so she hasn't changed that over. Anyhow, my go to is a gel Spa Pedi. That's what I went in for and DAAAAMN, I agot the BEST foot massage EVER! I'm a runner so that was appreciated. The man was quiet but friendly and attentive to his work (appreciated). Didn't rush, thorough and may his hands be forever blessed. SO... I decided to get a gel mani too. Can't have long nails where I work, so decided on something g simple and professional. Same guy did my hands and they turned out well. There were 2 women already there getting their nails done when I got there and both stated that they have been long time customers of the new owner and they are happy w the staff and service. Another came while my nails were getting done and she too said she's been going for a while and is happy w their service and she's a local so has tried several shops. I've been to so many nail salons in Jacksonville, and this is BY FAR the worst place to ever get my nails done here. I waited patiently for 45 minutes (they told me it would be 15) and then assigned me to a lesser experienced tech. And when I showed her a photo of what I wanted, (red french tips), she said she couldn't do it and then the manager had to do it for her. The manager was an asshole and was rude the whole time. I arrived here around 4:30 and was immediately seated for a pedicure. The pedicure was good however, the lady doing my manicure was rushing. As a result, my nails were uneven and throughout the entirety of the process she kept pushing and grabbing my hands - which I guess in her mind expedited the process. I ended up only spending $100 for the manicure/pedicure. I like to tip each person individually, but based on my experience I simply paid for the services rendered and left. read more

Literally the best nail salon I've experienced in Jacksonville in 20+ years of having my nails cared for by others. The wait is minimal, EVERY single visit, the staff is extremely friendly, appointments are taken and honored. I really just can't say enough great things about this salon...did I mention that it is SUPER clean? A lot of salons in the area tend to be dusty in the polish shelves, behind the pedi chairs, in the waiting area, etc - but never at Oasis. It's a great salon and absolutely worth the price! read more

I decided to get my tips taken off since my actual nails were as long as them anyways and one broke while packing for school. Also because I was over charged from a previous service and waited bc it's all the way out of my way on the other side of town. I decided that since I was leaving for college that evening I'd get them taken off from a place I THOUGHT I was comfortable with. I learned that they charge an additional $10 for gel (previously I was told it was $5 like most salons). I knew I should've turned away then when I couldn't get a refund or at least $5 taken off my next service. As he was taking the gel off, he was still using the drill. Long story short... my nails are now extra thin and brittle. They're constantly breaking off and bending so now I have to wait at least a month until it grows and breaks off before letting them grow out again. NEVER GOING BACK read more

My home girl recommended me this place after I was working in Alaska for a couple months and my dogs were barking. They needed some love needless to say. I came in they asked me to sign in on the tablet the staff is very friendly and polite. I got eve for my pedicure and opted for the volcanic spa it was money well spent. The massage for my feet and legs was amazing every time I go to get a pedicure I think the massages are nice but the one I received from eve today was the best ive beeen tired everyday since Ive been back and after my visit I feel like I didn't even work for 16 hours a day on my feet. Will be coming back for sure to make this my primary location to get my pedicures done. if 10 stars was available I'd say 10/10 recommend. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I got my lashes done with them friday 2/12/21. They glued the lashes to my skin. After it dried the glue was pulling on my eye so bad that it was uncomfortable to even keep them open. My eyes were itchy and watery, the eyelashes felt heavy and were SO PAINFUL. Do not go there for lashes. Go pay the extra buck somewhere else. They should not be allowed to do this on people. read more

This place is expensive compared to other nail spas I've been to; they charge for EVERY LITTLE THING but the ladies usually do a great job. Even when your "fill" grows out your nails dont look like trash. I'm very particular about my nail shape & design & they don't get pissy about my critics. Most places get an attitude or try to tell you how they want it b/c they are the professionals. That's all great but but if I'm paying you then I want it done the way My money likes it. By far the most horrific nail salon experience to date and I have frequented salons for the past 5 years. I called ahead to assure they had time for an acrylic removal and full set which I was told yes. Upon arrival they were extremely busy and still accepting clients while having no one to solely service them. I witnessed one technician go from a pedicure, to lashes, to a nail fix then back to lashes before finishing the pedicure all within minutes and she did not wash her hands whatsoever. One gentleman then used the same drill and bit on myself and two other clients without sanitizing either the instrument or attachment because the three technicians were bouncing around so much. Multi tasking can only be done safely when sanitary precautions are taken in an environment like this. This place is an infection waiting to happen. I allowed them to finish my acrylic removal before (unhappily) paying and leaving. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Alaina is who I had my nails done by and she sucks. she also will tell you that it's your fault that the nail polish chips. The minute I left that place my nail polish started chipping and I had gel polish. The polish was not evenly painted on and there bubbles of paint at more than one of my tips. It was all over my fingers and if you've had gel you know that if it gets on your skin at all, then you can pretty much kiss your polish goodbye in the first couple days. She said that she doesn't like to clean up around the nails until after it's gone under the light. She just cut off the excess polish which was on my skin. The woman glued my bottom lashes in with the top, she was careless and got glue in my eyes I woke up this morning and had yellow gunk oozing from my eyes!!! I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH WE NEED TO CANCEL ALL NAIL SALONS DOING LASH EXTENSIONS!!! I ended up being able to get an appointment with Brow: A Beauty Boutique and I'm so grateful that they removed the lashes after nearly 2 hours!!! So much relief to my lashes and eyes! They did amazing getting them off! Do not go to Oasis they will ruin your lashes!! The glue is as thick as a penny!! And if you zoom in you can see my natural lashes just caked in glue!! They do not use proper glue there!!! Those things once they are on they are staying!!! Definitely do not do what I did do some research and get your lashes done DONT GO TO NAIL SALONS actually ask what glue they are using, I don't want anyone else to end up with lost lashes and swollen eyes. read more

So this is my favorite place to go... Absolutely love getting pampered by Henry & the other workers here. I've never left unhappy, and if I ever needed anything fixed they are always so willing to help. Never been turned away because of their hours or anything like some places in town.
