About a month ago I had a trauma to the toe (a door slammed into it and blood gushed) so I have hesitated getting a pedicure. I went in today and had a wonderful experience. For $20 the lady who worked on my toes did great! Y'all, I am rough on my toes with soccer and running and when I left you couldn't tell that was the case. This was my first time going to this salon, and I most likely won't be back. I probably would have given this place 5 stars if I only spoke with Michelle (the lady who did my appointment). However I am giving them one star because of the second person I experienced upon re-entering the salon (I was so mad I did not catch their name). I had an appointment with Michelle which was a very pleasant experience and loved the shape of my full set. She was very friendly and did great work. She was in a rush to get out to go on a family trip (which I'm not mad about) however I do feel like she did a quick paint job. When I asked to fix a ding on my thumb I could tell she was unhappy to have to stay any longer and wanted to leave. I felt rushed out the door and didn't look at the finished product too much in respect to letting her get on the road. After getting in the car I realized the French manicure was uneven. I called my kids father to make sure the kids were okay if I went back to get it fixed real quick. When I went back into the salon Michelle was already gone. The person who I spoke to was so incredibly rude, unwilling to fix it, said I would have to walk in another day to get it fixed, and I'D HAVE TO PAY AGAIN. I just spent $95 plus tip not even 5 minutes sooner!!!!! They were outspokenly mad at me because I didn't say anything before I left. I explained that Michelle rushed me out to leave on her trip and I didn't get the chance to look closely because of it & also that I came right back in as soon as I noticed. I think this is an extremely poor way to treat customers and not a good way to run a business/returned customers. So I left very unhappy and disappointed with the way I was just treated. :( Also the ding she "fixed" was not smoothed over all the way and caught on a shirt one day later & ripped up the layers of gel polish around it. I have to give them two stars because it wouldn't be fair to all of the technicians there that are actually good at what they do. In my personal experience, I went to get a gel mani and a gel pedi there and I am not happy with my experience and the overall appearance of my nails. First of all, the Nail polish selections were old. They don't even do OPI, they give you those cheap gel polishes so there weren't much to choose from to begin with if you like quality brand. Secondly, both my gel mani and gel pedi took over 3 hours. Which was fine if I'm getting a good service. But no, my technician (the only Caucasian lady there) kept messing it up and paint it over my cuticle and kept filing them down while they're not completely cured. So I got lint and bumpy stuff all over my nails. My nails were crooked, uneven and some area, the top coat was completely skipped. While doing my pedi, she kept pointing out that I have athletes foot or something. I was a ballet dancer, my feet were not even bad looking. I just have dry skin. I was made very uncomfortable. Thank god I brought my friend there so we just laughed it off but have I gone by myself, it would've been awkward. Overall, my polish lasted a week because she piled on base coat, 3 layers of polish and top coat. So evidently it wouldn't last long because it's so uneven and thick. She painted over the cuticle so in about 5 days once my nails started growing out, it got caught in my hair. Such a bad experience... I wanted to like this place so bad. read more

For the future customers that are interested in visiting this salon PLEASE first take a glance at how the owners respond to those who have left reviews bout their experiences at this salonin in the past. The consistent rudeness in their responses online speaks volumes as to how you will be treated in person. Specifically by Tina, a newer nail tech that blames customers for her inexperience. Ms. Tina and I had a communication issue where Ms.Tina explained to me that she asked me if I had gel polish on my nails and I responded "yes". I do not recall communicating that with her at all, because I was initially being serviced by Sidney the owner and she was assisting me with my belongings to guide me to my seat in the back. Ms. Tina was on her phone the entire time (which was not a problem) because I was getting my manicure done by the owner. But I had no clue who was servicing my feet until Ms.Tina sat down after I was guided to the back by the owner. Regardless of my response to Ms. Tina, the HEALTHY way to remove gel nails is to BUFF not DRILL the nail, apply acetone and a cotton pad with foil over the nail to remove gel polish. Ms. Tina proceeded to drill my nail for a considerable length of time and then finally asked me if it was regular polish. When I confirmed that it was regular polish she proceeded to blame me and say that I "could've broken her tool". First of all Ms.Tina let me tell you something about customer service and your JOB!!!! You don't blame the customer for YOUR neglience on not being able to properly identify the difference between nail polish laquer and gel polish. Also, I am not a nail technician so I do not know the specifics on what damage can occur to your tools, that's why I pay what I assumed were to be professionals to do it. Your tone, attitude, and hospitality was not professional by any means, and the owner of the shop did not do much to resolve the issue. I have no intentions on trying to damage your tools at all, andif I wasn't met with such attitude, I would have been able to calmly communicate that with you like an adult. But no, Ms. Tina cut me off and did not want to listen. So, Ms. Tinaaaaa and I say this from the bottom of my heart. Find what you are passionate about doing in life, because sis this can't be it. read more

I came in for a spa pedi with my sister and niece. We got deluxe pedicures and my niece got a kids manicure. It was $117. After they removed my gel polish, they started putting gel on again even though I told her I wanted white polish. Then they told me it's $5 for gel polish removal or I can pay $15 for gel polish. I believe the price of services should be given before the service is provided. At this point I decided to get the gel polish because she already started it and it was $10 more since they charged $5 for removal. Even though the deluxe pedicure includes callous removal, my heels are rougher now than before I went in and my sister said the same. Prices are higher than nail salons that are 2 minutes away. This was a one and done. We won't be returning here. read more

The prices are fair, the service is good. I don't feel rushed if anything i have only ever felt like they do take their time & have been matriculate with the way they take care of my nails. I have done the deluxe pedicure when i come & today's was around 45 minutes. The massage is nice & their callus treatment & scrub works wonders. I recommend this place to anyone who like pedicures by themselves or with friends. The place was clean, good color selection (that you choose from the wall). They have massage chairs for pedicures which are little difficult to figure out. I went with 2 friends and we all had to ask for them to cool the water down a bit before putting our feet in because it was very uncomfortably hot, which they did. An older male did my pedicure, I got the classic which comes with a massage that I didn't really get. But my friends lasted a long time, she had a younger male. So I guess it just depends who you get. Mine was rushed because my friends started much before mine even though we called ahead. My toes look good though. I have been in Jacksonville for a year now and came to this place only twice. The first time I received a basic full set with short coffin nails and pink gel polish ... 2 days later 3 nails on each hand came off. I wasn't able to walk in for a repair due to COVID and the appointments were days out so I went to a different salon for a repair. Now a year later, my friend is begging me to go to this salon because she loves it and I go. It's Friday before Easter and I get a short coffin shaped French Manicure. Of course TWO days later, Easter morning and 2 nails break off when I open the trashcan ... WTF! I'm walking back into the house and I notice a third nail is bleeding. I called the salon and was told to come in ... which I did. I'm told the bleeding nail can't be fixed because of course I'm bleeding so infection control I guess and I understand that but I have to pay to have the 2 other ones to be fixed even though I just paid $40 or $45 2 DAYS AGO! I was told it was my fault they broke and that's why they charge for repairs. I've had free repairs after up to 6 days after I've gotten my nails done so how is it I'm being charged again 1 full day later. I specifically told him I did not want jell and put it on anyway and had the nerve to charge me for it very unprofessional.i think all but one was overcharged. I came in right when they opened and there was a wait. I didn't mind. I wanted a few nails fixed and gel polish. She fixed my one finger fine. The other finger needed more gel. It was uneven. Didn't notice until I was driving home. The polish job was bad. One nail was clear. The others were fine. Again I didnt notice until I left because of the color of the polish. Also I didn't like that that one tech working on me passed me off to another. He was very gentle with the drill which I liked so one star for that. Prices were fair and seemed to be a clean salon. I got a pedicure and manicure with SNS. For those two services I had four different technicians... I am used to having a maximum of two technicians (one for each service). I had enough cash tip for only two, so I put the other tips on my card (which didn't seem to go over too well for the person running my card). I started going to this place about 2 months, they were great. I even gave them a nice review on google because they had such a low rating at the time. Went today paid for a deluxe pedicure#2, I watched tech about to paint my nails and I had the same dead skin I came in there with on my feet. So I stopped him and asked what was he doing? I said I paid extra to make sure I had a nice pedicure. I don't have callous but I paid for the package that removes it anyways just to make sure I had a smooth pedi. I hold my feet up and he looks at it and realize the dead skin he left and began painting my feet as he said he'll fix it. I'm asking why are you painting first and I have all this dead skin on my feet. He keeps telling me hold on he's taking care of it as he keeps painting. I'm getting gel paint, they dry, he then dip my feet in water and do another scrub to my feet. They came out smoother but I was so irritated from him actually about to leave my feet like that before I stopped him. So now I leave and happen to look at my feet and there is dry skin, something simple, something that was neglected, it was on the side of my feet. You're not supposed to go through all that to get a pedicure. I literally called back when I noticed it and I was told it's because I don't lotion my feet daily. Really? You live with me or something? I'm confused and insulted. I told her I lotion my body daily especially my feet. But lotion does not prevent dead skin, which is my purpose for getting a pedi often. Well she offered to paint my toes again but not do anything about the dead skin. I even asked her if she would like to see it before she assume I'm talking about something else. She said we are not going to fix that but we'll paint it again. I said I paid y'all $60 today 50 was the pedi and this is what you tell me. Don't worry about it I'll leave a review for you. She said okay nonchalantly. I usually tell ppl about them and even bring a person or two with me. I hope it was worth loosing me and my friends as customers. She didn't seem concerned with the issue so they will not be getting my money or anyone I know anymore. Sad thing is there was another lady in there with me complaining about the same thing. Choose a better place, they are not professional nor compassionate of their customers, regular ones at that. I've had better pedis from them and other places this one was by far the worst.
