My usual spot was booked on a Saturday so my friend and I decided to give this place a try. They were able to take us in right away. The technicians were awesome and super fast. We were in and out of there within an hour. They had a lot of customers and seemed busy so I didn't bother doing designs. Next time I would definitely test their design skills! read more

My last pedicure here was not the best. The technician cut my nail bed so much that I got an infection.

This nail salon is my SPOT! Even when I travel I won't let anyone else touch my nails. I once went somewhere else and I still regret it! The nail tech that I schedule my appointments with is Hannah and she is amazing. So great at her craft and she can give you any nails you want, while making them look absolutely perfect. I also love about her is that she is very gentle and never has hurt me while doing my nails but also finishes rather quickly! The vibe here is very friendly and laid back, I never feel awkward or lost when I'm here as they always help and direct me with what to do! I recommend making an appointment by calling them if you want a specific tech as they are usually pretty busy and you might be sat with someone else, but to be fair everyone does nails beautifully from what I see in person while I am there. The environment is always very clean and the clutter is kept at a minimum compared to some salons. Also to add they do have an ATM inside, take card and also tap to pay is available! My photos speak for themselves, book with Hannah if you love mine! read more

So happy with my gel refill! I had gotten my nails done at a different salon, but called in the morning, scheduled a 2 PM refill, and was able to be sat and worked on immediately upon arrival. I don't know my tech's name, but he was very kind and conscientious of the heat spikes from the drill. I showed him my inspo pic, and he did an amazing job with the shape and length of my extensions. Super even coats and not lumpy at all. Another tech came to do the cat eye as he was still learning, but all in all, took about an hour and a half, and so worth it. Really happy! Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the nail dust was flying everywhere when they were filing down my nails. I was glad to see the techs have masks so they're not breathing it in all day, but it was kind of everywhere. Hope they can upgrade to the fans that suck up the dust that I've seen at other salons before. read more

Came into town to visit friends, walked in for a fill and they had a small 5 minute wait then got me into a chair. Lily was my nail tech and she was great! Great place, good prices, and clean atmosphere. Very convivial as well. Will be coming back.

I had a great experience at Lovely Nails. I was able to do a walk-in apt for a fill, and my husband did a pedicure. The place was clean without a huge overwhelming acrylic smell. During my consultation, it was determined that I needed a new full set instead of fill because I garden a lot and there were a lot of stains and they just didn't look great. My new set was beautiful with a periwinkle chrome gel polish for $60 thanks to Sandy. My nails were smooth and thin, not overly bulky. My husband got a great pedi by Kim for about $60. Both ladies were super nice, and when we go back to North Carolina, we will for sure stop in for some pampering. read more

They were really nice. My regular place was closed so I looked at the reviews and photos here and loved it. I didn't get the matching set I wanted they aren't updated in a way of getting sets. I left with 5 fingers throbbing from them stabbing their nail under mine and breaking skin that left me bleeding. The kid who did mine was rushing and didn't really seem to care. I havnt gotten my nails done in forever so I wanted to treat myself and it kinda made me wish I hadn't read more

I love getting my nails done at Lovely Nails. I have been going there for the past 3 months and am happy every time I leave. Hannah works quickly and efficiently. She's done the art on my nails a couple of times and I'm always happy with how close she gets to my reference photo. Recently, she did my nails for my vow renewal and I received several compliments. Also, their pricing is affordable which is a huge plus especially in this economy. read more

Hanna was great! I did a walk in. I got there about 145pm and was seen at 215pm. Mondays are busy!! There was a steady stream of people coming in. I was done at 315pm. She was quick! I found this place on Yelp last night called at 930 this morning to see if they had anytime to get me in she said yes. When i got there i wanted maybe 5 mins then Lilly called me to her table. I showed her what i wanted with shape size color and my inspiration picture. Let's just say Lilly did a great job. She also told me how much my nails was going to be before she even finished which i appreciated. $45 for a full let with gel and design $28 for a basic pedi and regular polish. From the moment I walked in the doors I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome! They asked me what I needed I told them I wanted a pedicure and fill with a change,, so I showed them a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. And wow they acted like this was was going to be so hard to do (pic attached) so I had to decide on another color for my pedicure because I wanted my nails and toes to semi match, I asked for help to come close to a chrome peach with my nails having some glitter along with white French tip, color that I had chosen to match my nails and the lady just said Il give you the book they were rude and didn't not want to help at all so I just chose the easiest things I could to get it done and that I felt the tech was capable of doing, but you can see every little flaw and bubbles and dents in my nails I have never had issues like this before! So needless to say I do not recommend lovely nails in Jacksonville at all! read more

I've been here 2 times now and had such great experiences! Everyone is very nice and they have pretty fair prices! After years of getting acrylics, I'm trying to grow out my natural nails. I was nervous about how my gel manicures were going to look but Hannah has been doing such a great job! I love that she pays attention to detail and she does a quality job because after a few weeks, none of my nails were broken or damaged. This is definitely my new spot! read more

Tee is the TRUTH !!! 1000% She is fast and efficient, plus her customer service was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed how she paid attention to detail and she was patient with me. It was evident that she cares about her craft (which is something most techs lack). If you have grown accustomed to techs not listening, hurrying through the job because you're just a number and you need a change ... Tee is your person! Whenever I'm back in Jacksonville, this is who I'm coming to see! Please be warned that the pics do not do these any justice because there's glitter on the white that you can't see {face palm} lol read more

Came here for the first time today to try a new spot and I'm amazed! I got the basic pedicure with gel French tips. To begin with, he took his time on my cuticles and shaping the nails along with getting rid of all the dead skin. I got a nice massage with the exfoliator and lotion not too much or too little pressure. When my nails got painted he asked if I liked the curve of the French tip before curing under the blue light and that was appreciated. Great customer service overall, very kind people and relaxing enviorment. The shop smelled nice too, not a strong nail polish smell like most. Great service at a great price, I will definitely be back! read more

Lovely Nails - Summer nails by Hannah - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, North Carolina

I am not well versed in manicures aside from asking for gel polish. I got a terrible acrylic manicure at a different salon about two weeks ago and just wanted to get them off. Lovely Nails has always done a wonderful job with my pedicure, so I hoped they could fix my manicure. I was thrilled when I realized Hannah was going to do my manicure because I always see her bustling around, doing amazing designs for a ton of customers and I knew she was one of the best! Once she understood what I didn't like about my awful manicure from the other place, she totally transformed my nails into what I'd always wanted and hoped for. She cleaned up my cuticles, reshaped and thinned everything, and gave me the most gorgeous nails I think I've ever had. They're so simple to look at, but I absolutely love them and will 100% go back! She's super sweet and so attentive / dedicated to giving her customers the best nails ever. 12/10, would absolutely recommend this salon! read more

I had a terrible experience this place is plain mean. I asked for pink french manicure and the lady who did them said my nail wouldn't look good bc of my short nail bed. I asked can you do the pink w a cute design she said I don't know how to do a design, i am not the type to argue so if you can't do anything just paint them. I told her I didn't like it she continued to paint them and so the owner tried to argue with me that it was my fault for not saying anything when I said I didn't like them I paid and walked out. I went back in bc Ms Kim had offer to do them first so I asked if she could fix them and I'd pay and her boss yelled a cross the salon "no she already has a customer" don't waste your time or money. Didn't get the girl name but even the owner had a nasty attitude read more

This place is horrible. Customer service is horrible. The people are not nice at all. They do not know how to do nails. It was doing my toes and it looked so ugly. The nail polish was not even you can see my nails under it. I asked the guy can he fix it for me he was like stop being picky. Shit what the hell they are so rude. I would never go back to that place. I do not recommend going back. They don't know how to do nails my original place that I want to go do my nails from was close and he asked me. Where do you get your nails and I said somewhere else he's like oh when they open go back over there cause we don't want you here anymore and I was being nice, there was being very very rude to me. It was unacceptable. These people are horrible. I would not recommend. They deserve zero stars. read more

Waited at the salon for over an hour. No one spoke to me or asked anything about what I wanted, nor would listen to me when I tried to ask questions. Decided to wait since I could see they were busy. Nice and friendly establishment. A nice older gentlemen did my pedicure and he was very thorough and took his time. I dont think he polishes, but that's fine with me because he gave a good pedi and foot massage. I asked a some glittery polish on top of my color choice which was obliged. I opted for just a polish change on my hands because I don't do manicures much. I feel like my nails do better when I do a mani every 6-8 weeks or so. Anyway, the polish change was $7, and she did a good job. My nails dried pretty quickly once after I sprayed them with the canned enamel dryer that was at the drying station. Overall, I had a good experience and I would patronize this nail salon if I were in the area again. read more

$40 for dip powder?? Definitely not! I am visiting my son who's stationed at Camp Lejeune but needed nails done badly ...I assumed it would be less expensive than back home in NY so I walked in and they proceeded to ask me a million questions as to what I wanted. It was only until after they take off what I already had in my nails that they quote me $40!! Also they seem to charge separately for everything. Go somewhere else. read more

I've been in Jacksonville about 2 years and this is my first time getting my nails done here. Overall I had an amazing experience. Got a mani/pedi with my best friend. I felt totally relaxed and pampered the whole time! It did feel a little under staffed and a tad unorganized because I switched from 3 different people while I was there so Its difficult to know who to actually tip. I got a gel French manicure and it looks amazing. No complaints EXCEPT the friend I went with had a totally different experience. She didn't get the foot or hand massage. They didn't fix up her cuticles or anything. Main takeaways are: no military discount, cash only, and service differs between staff. Overall, I would go again. read more
