This nail salon is my SPOT! Even when I travel I won't let anyone else touch my nails. I once went somewhere else and I still regret it! The nail tech that I schedule my appointments with is Hannah and she is amazing. So great at her craft and she can give you any nails you want, while making them look absolutely perfect. I also love about her is that she is very gentle and never has hurt me while doing my nails but also finishes rather quickly! The vibe here is very friendly and laid back, I never feel awkward or lost when I'm here as they always help and direct me with what to do! I recommend making an appointment by calling them if you want a specific tech as they are usually pretty busy and you might be sat with someone else, but to be fair everyone does nails beautifully from what I see in person while I am there. The environment is always very clean and the clutter is kept at a minimum compared to some salons. Also to add they do have an ATM inside, take card and also tap to pay is available! So happy with my gel refill! I had gotten my nails done at a different salon, but called in the morning, scheduled a 2 PM refill, and was able to be sat and worked on immediately upon arrival. I don't know my tech's name, but he was very kind and conscientious of the heat spikes from the drill. I showed him my inspo pic, and he did an amazing job with the shape and length of my extensions. Super even coats and not lumpy at all. Another tech came to do the cat eye as he was still learning, but all in all, took about an hour and a half, and so worth it. Really happy! Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the nail dust was flying everywhere when they were filing down my nails. I was glad to see the techs have masks so they're not breathing it in all day, but it was kind of everywhere. Hope they can upgrade to the fans that suck up the dust that I've seen at other salons before. read more

I had a great experience at Lovely Nails. I was able to do a walk-in apt for a fill, and my husband did a pedicure. The place was clean without a huge overwhelming acrylic smell. During my consultation, it was determined that I needed a new full set instead of fill because I garden a lot and there were a lot of stains and they just didn't look great. My new set was beautiful with a periwinkle chrome gel polish for $60 thanks to Sandy. My nails were smooth and thin, not overly bulky. My husband got a great pedi by Kim for about $60. Both ladies were super nice, and when we go back to North Carolina, we will for sure stop in for some pampering. read more

From the moment I walked in the doors I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome! They asked me what I needed I told them I wanted a pedicure and fill with a change,, so I showed them a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like. And wow they acted like this was was going to be so hard to do (pic attached) so I had to decide on another color for my pedicure because I wanted my nails and toes to semi match, I asked for help to come close to a chrome peach with my nails having some glitter along with white French tip, color that I had chosen to match my nails and the lady just said Il give you the book they were rude and didn't not want to help at all so I just chose the easiest things I could to get it done and that I felt the tech was capable of doing, but you can see every little flaw and bubbles and dents in my nails I have never had issues like this before! Hanna was great! I did a walk in. I got there about 145pm and was seen at 215pm. Mondays are busy!! There was a steady stream of people coming in. I was done at 315pm. She was quick! I got short acrylics with nail art on each nail. It came out to $80. It was exactly what I wanted. I showed her the picture and bam it was exactly the same. Came here for the first time today to try a new spot and I'm amazed! I got the basic pedicure with gel French tips. To begin with, he took his time on my cuticles and shaping the nails along with getting rid of all the dead skin. I got a nice massage with the exfoliator and lotion not too much or too little pressure. When my nails got painted he asked if I liked the curve of the French tip before curing under the blue light and that was appreciated. I am not well versed in manicures aside from asking for gel polish. I got a terrible acrylic manicure at a different salon about two weeks ago and just wanted to get them off. Lovely Nails has always done a wonderful job with my pedicure, so I hoped they could fix my manicure. I was thrilled when I realized Hannah was going to do my manicure because I always see her bustling around, doing amazing designs for a ton of customers and I knew she was one of the best! Once she understood what I didn't like about my awful manicure from the other place, she totally transformed my nails into what I'd always wanted and hoped for. She cleaned up my cuticles, reshaped and thinned everything, and gave me the most gorgeous nails I think I've ever had. They're so simple to look at, but I absolutely love them and will 100% go back! I dont think he polishes, but that's fine with me because he gave a good pedi and foot massage. I asked a some glittery polish on top of my color choice which was obliged. I opted for just a polish change on my hands because I don't do manicures much. I feel like my nails do better when I do a mani every 6-8 weeks or so. Anyway, the polish change was $7, and she did a good job. My nails dried pretty quickly once after I sprayed them with the canned enamel dryer that was at the drying station.
