Had to have my nails fixed. Got them originally done by a young girl who was learning and they were to long (my fault) but catching on things (her fault). Walked in and Joanne was alone (staff on holiday). She was upbeat and had a customer with others coming, but she fit me in between her clients. After fixing my nails, I asked if she had time to give me a pedicure, no polish, and she said sure. What a hard worker. I needed to find a local salon, and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Happy Nails! I made an appointment for a pedicure at 12:30pm, and got there 15 minutes early. I was pulled back to the pedicure stations before my appointment time, and had a very pleasant service. A few things impressed me- 1- My nail beds were absolutely destroyed at a different salon, and when I asked about doing a manicure with a gel or acrylic overlay to make them look smoother while they grow out, my initial tech said he'd recommend leaving them bare to heal for a few weeks. He declined performing another service, earning more, in favor of keeping my nails as healthy as possible. 2- I have eczema flaring up on the sole of my foot, and he was the first nail tech who didn't make me feel bad or self conscious about the condition. Worst manicure I've ever gotten in my life. The man that did my nails was exceedingly rude for multiple reasons. He didn't speak once the entire time I did my nails, he rushed through the entire manicure and ended up smudging half of them and getting paint all over my fingers and some on my wrists, he took my precious gel nails off with pliers and it hurt extremely bad, he burnt my hand with a hot towel in an effort to get any of the messed up nail polish off, he filed my nails so quickly that he cut my pinky, AND I paid $30.00 for this awful polish! Will definitely NOT be back here for anything in the future and I will not refer anyone here. Save your time, money, AND hands, and find somewhere else to do your nails. It pains me to write this, literally, my fingers are extremely sore from having my nails cut back so far, I posted a pic. I went in yesterday and asked for a pedi and gel color for my nails. I was seated in the pedi chair after picking a color. I was shown their pedi options and just requested the basic $25 pedi. During the pedi, she suggested I get the foot wax "it's only an extra $5." I agreed. The guy came over and started clipping off all of my nails. I didn't want them all clipped off, but ok...he clipped them so far back that my finger tips hurt, BAD! He finished and I had a design put on 1 finger. After the girl finished my less than mediocre pedi...I was seated at the drying table. About 20 mins went by and I touched the polish to check it, and it completely smeared off. She repainted it and fixed my other foot where she hadn't painted the entire nail...another 20ish mins went by...she checked it and the same thing happened. Repainted again. After about 30 mins, she sent me on my way and told me if they messed up to "come back tomorrow." I went to check out. $71!! It should have been $30 for my pedicure, so that means they were charging $41 for my gel color... The most I've ever paid is $20. I did get a simple design on 1 nail, but that is more than a full set of acrylic nails! Whatever, I paid it...and tipped $5. So of course...my toes never dried and are a smeared mess. I went back in today. He stated "what did you do?" Um...i wanted to say, I picked cheap, old polish. I said they smeared and she told me to come back today. He seamed annoyed...and told me I would have to come back later. Needless to say, I'm NEVER going back. Honestly, nothing about this place was a good experience. She removed my previous gel and completed the manicure in 40 minutes, which is faster than I've ever experienced in the past. She didn't let the gel set long enough in between coats and it started peeling in less than a week. My gel manicures usually last 2-3 weeks and this one was ruined within 7 days. She was very friendly but I would not recommend them. read more

Figured it would be a shot in the dark since we're visiting for vacation and weren't sure what places were good, but after seeing some positive reviews for Happy Nails, we decided to give them a try. They're very clean and friendly. They use a lot of high end OPI nail/lotion products which are a million times better than the cheap stuff. Really appreciate that because I have very sensitive skin. We got the deluxe pedicure and the owner came out and gave us margaritas! Even though they get super busy, they don't rush their work (though one of the girls was a bit too slow with one of our pedicures - we had to wait on her to finish). They take their time and make sure you are pleased. Left feeling pampered and relaxed. Your nails will definitely be happy after coming here! read more

As we entered there was a man at the first table doing someone's nails and pointed to the sign in sheet and said "sit wait" after 15 minutes we saw 2 others come in and actually asked how long, 2hr wait. Without even making eye contact with your future clients you should always be aware of your surroundings and please keep your child safe inside, do not let a child that young play outside for their safety. I'm from out of town so it was exciting that this place was open on Sunday. I went for a pedicure only. I was given a chair almost immediately however my feet soaked for 35 minutes before there was a tech free. I got the deluxe pedicure which was amazing. They do not accept tips on credit card payments therefore I was unable to leave a tip this time. I plan to go back so i will leave extra next time. My pedicure was OK, nothing extraordinary. The pedicurist (is that a word?) didn't cut or hurt me and my toes ended up tidy and polished. The leg massage was inexpert and rough. One of the workers had her 2 1/2 year old child in the salon and he was running around and demanding attention-- which my technician as well as his mother gave in the form of cajoling, count-downs, and snapping at the child. When I pay for a pedicure, it is a personal luxury and I want to enjoy myself! Having someone else's bored toddler running around disturbing my quiet enjoyment is NOT what I am paying for.
