I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called. They are closed on Mondays year round and Tuesdays too during the off season. My appointment was honored on time. I went to Atlantic Beach for a short vacation and needed a pedicure while there. While shopping at…read morethe local Food Lion store, I noticed this nail spa. I decided to hit it a try. When I first entered, the wife (found this out later) approached me and began preparing me for a pedicure. She started the process, but another customer came in after about 5 minutes, and she called her husband from the back to continue with my pedicure. The husband appeared annoyed, was rude (did not respond to my greeting), and roughly cut my nails-in cold water- (still sore after 2 weeks). Entire process took about 10 minutes! This was a horrible experience and I will never patronize this business again!

Overall, I had a very poor experience at this salon. To start things off, I was not informed that…read morethe stylist I was supposed to work with on my hair trial and the day of my wedding was no longer working there until I called to confirm my appointment date and time. After driving over 3 hours for my hair trial, I had to wait over an hour without any sort of apology for the delay. I completely understand that people run behind but an apology would have been appreciated. They also let us stand in the doorway for that hour without directing us to an area in the other room where we could sit (we had no idea there were couches in the adjoining room). I was pleased with how my hair and makeup turned out but the makeup trial, which took about 15 minutes, cost $65 which seems a bit steep for what it was. My mother and aunt have overpriced "pedicures" that didn't even involve a pumice stone or trimming their nails. I ended up going to a nail salon down the road and got an excellent manicure AND pedicure for less than the cost of their "pedicure." On the day of my wedding, I showed up and was told at my arrival that someone had the makeup bag off site at a wedding and would not be back until an hour and a half later. I waited around but they never showed up and I never got my makeup done (just an insincere apology). You would think that they would have more than one makeup set if they are in this business or who have the intuition to use the unopened makeup sitting on display in the salon. I tried getting in touch with a manager. There is no manager and the stylists are all self-employed. The owner returned my call promptly but after we spoke and I expressed my concerns she was supposed to get back in touch with me to follow up. I tried calling her weekly for over a month to try and get a refund for my makeup trial (since I never got my makeup done on the day of the wedding). She finally left me a message that there was nothing she could do and that the stylist would have to refund my money and that the stylist was no longer employed there. I am hoping this review will help at least one other person. Not being from the area, I didn't have a lot of resources and picked this salon because they were a part of the Crystal Coast Wedding Salon we attended. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of options in that area but I would strongly encourage another place even if a bit of travel is involved. Hope this helps!
