I agreed to have Helen do my nails instead since she has done them before and I've always liked her work. I showed her my inspiration picture, and she said she could do it. While she was working, I politely mentioned that my nails still looked like they needed to be filled more. Before Helen could even respond, the owner jumped in and loudly told me, "DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, the color will cover it." I ignored the attitude and let her continue. A few minutes later, he started pressuring me to pick a color. I explained that the shade I wanted wasn't on the color chart and showed him my inspiration picture again. He immediately started going off about how Helen couldn't do the design and that I would need to come back another day. Helen then told him herself that she could do it, so he backed off. Later, when Helen started applying a pink shade, I simply asked if she had a more brown/neutral nude and showed her another picture. Again, the owner inserted himself, started raising his voice, rambling at me, and standing over me in front of other customers. I left mid fill. Helen was sweet and I have zero complaints about her. But the owner desperately needs to learn how to speak to customers. I came in for a fill, not an argument. I will NOT be back.
