Would I come again? No. My pedicure lasted only 15 minutes. I was getting a clear coat. Nails not filed smoothly. No massage. I needed the cuticles pushed back and cleaned up. Neither was done. Legs and feet are as dry as I walked in with. My friend's chair did not work, but she wasn't told that until after her feet were in a full tub of water. Good color selection though. Seemed very clean. My friend got a gel mani and pedi. Her time was about an hour to an hour 15 for both. Her nails looked nice. read more

I went to Atlantic Beach for a short vacation and needed a pedicure while there. While shopping at the local Food Lion store, I noticed this nail spa. I decided to hit it a try. When I first entered, the wife (found this out later) approached me and began preparing me for a pedicure. She started the process, but another customer came in after about 5 minutes, and she called her husband from the back to continue with my pedicure. The husband appeared annoyed, was rude (did not respond to my greeting), and roughly cut my nails-in cold water- (still sore after 2 weeks). Entire process took about 10 minutes! Don't waste your time and money here - the place is very unhygienic. The older guy that did my pedi coughed the entire time. He did a horrible job, barely filed my nails and didn't remove any of the cuticle on the side of toe nails. Did an awful job painting them, I brought my own nail polish and only dipped into the polish once for all 5 toes (?) so the paint job looks very choppy. He didn't even use a toe separator?? Him and the other worker lady talked in their language the entire time so they basically ignored myself and the other customer / we were the only two in the shop - do not come here! read more

I like to support local businesses on the Island, so I thought I would give them a shot. I just wanted a simple manicure with no polish, just a buff finish. Having my nails buffed cost me $5 more than a full polish job. Not cool. Less supplies & time involved! Additionally some of the edges of the nails are rough so I have to file them at home. Went here with my mom this morning planning to get 2 gel manicures and 2 gel pedicures and we left with a "pedicure" and gel pedicure. The "pedicures" lasted a max of 10 minutes. Highly disappointed and do not recommend! Don't think the guy who rang us up knew what he was doing either, because he changed the total price in his sentence twice, and the $ he said we owed was an astronomical amount for the service we received. Despite the negative reviews, I figured I would try this place out during the off season. It's convenient to my house, so I decided to go there based on convenience. I went in for a pedicure, and everything seemed very clean. A liner was put in the foot bath, and off we went. I believe that the man and woman working there are probably the owners. He gave me a lovely pedicure with a nice massage for $25. I will definitely go back! I will update with a busy season review in the future. read more

My first time here. We come to our condo every summer and have never visited this nail salon. Im from MD so maybe im spoiled, but the salon wasnt tidy or high end. The owners had their two young daughters in the salon. They screamed, fought, hung off their parents, and had no concept of personal space. I would visit again but prefer not to experience that again. Theyre prices are cheap, service is fast but dont expect long massage or spa services. read more

Unsanitary isn't even the word to describe this place. They don't clean the foot tubs (I immediately changed from a pedi to a nail polish change the minute they started the water - there was a water ring of skin dust at the bottom in the leftover drained water) and they have baskets of fingernail tools they pull from to do nails. When I asked "Are these tools new?" he said "Yes" but I could see cuticle clippings ON the nippers and at the bottom of the basket, and there was nail dust all over the tools. I have NEVER been to a more grotesque place in my life and I've had my nails done for over 25 years. read more

This place was lovely. I'm in from out of town for a wedding and decided to stop in and get my nails done for the event. They were quick, did my spa pedi & gel mani at the same time. The ladies were kind and great at their job. While I was there multiple "locals" walked in and were warmly greeted. It is clearly a local favorite. Do not go here! The worst place in Carteret County to get a mani/pedi. Went as a group and witnessed the employees fill the foot tubs up for other customers after not sanitizing workers were rude did a terrible job and then tried to overcharge. Poorly managed. Not enough manicurist, don't seem to be current on latest techniques and my nails were not dry after gel manicure. After thirty minutes under UV light. They kept old polishes on shelves that don't paint well. They don't have smaller chairs or booster seats to accommodate small children. Bathroom was filthy. read more

An important note: always call first to make sure they are there. The internet says they are open at 9:30 am on Saturday, but upon arriving there is a little sign covering the original sign saying open at 10. They do a wonderful job on gel nails, but I have showed up a couple of times and no one was there. read more

I wanted to like this place. I'm usually a fan of Lee spa nail shops, but this one .... not so much. I'm in from out of town and wanted to unwind and get my nails done, the employees are nice ... I just don't think they do a good job. My nails look like I did them myself. The polish isn't smooth and that's because the acrylic under the polish isn't smooth. My cuticles are still a mess. It feels like I just gave my money away. The mani/pedi that my family member got was rushed and looks like it. The only thing we can say is that we like the color polish we chose. It's one of those situations where it's not worth correcting because you want to get out of there. I will not go back to this particular salon. read more
