I arrived about 10 minutes before about my appointment and was able to park right in front of the salon. I was greeted warmly by Jenna upon arrival when I checked in. My hair was in pretty rough shape, and Chelsea and I discussed what I requested ( at length) and gave me her recommendations as soon as I sat in her chair. What a lovely young lady she is. She did a remarkable job considering what she had to work with ( I had not done my hair for almost a full year). She is polite, professional, kind l, patient and competent. I booked a wash, DC and Sew In on Vagaro with Alicia and my appointment was confirmed for Tuesday morning. I like that the ladies at this shop are mature and skilled. They offer many services here. Natural hair, braids, make up, locs, cuts, sew in's, wigs etc. Alicia was punctual and professional. She called me to confirm and discussed with me my vision before shampooing. I also got a good hair cut. I really loved the products here. Nothing oily and heavy used on my hair. Nothing cheap. What I'm really in love with here is the large shampoo chairs and beautiful modern posh decor ! The chandelier looks like a wedding ring set. The shampoo chairs are soooo comfortable and full body. While he was giving me the stink eye, the woman who met us continued as if she couldn't see it. She took control in a polite, professional manner that almost put him at ease, but not quite. She addressed his concerns before he could even voice them. I still wasn't sure how he'd take it, but without even asking they led me to a beautiful waiting area right off the massage rooms. He was beaming after, and now can't wait until his next, already scheduled massage! His chronic pain has let up "a lot" for the first time ever. I was thinking he would need those awful shots again, but maybe, just maybe, not. The entire salon is beautifully and tastefully decorated in that earth tone, minimalist style that I find so peaceful and relaxing. It is beyond clean. It is immaculate. Each area is separated from another area to minimize noise and distraction. The attention to every detail was very impressive. I had to ask where the hair salon was! Why! Behind this door! There is also a shower and sauna, and everything you would need to leave this peaceful place and rejoin our busy, loud, dirty world. We have already booked massages for both of us a week out, and I'm going to let them style my hair. I usually hate hairdressers too and it does show, but this place, it's aura of peaceful competence inspires me to go for it.
