I got my hair done there this Saturday, my roots were left undone without asking, hair cut was extremely choppy and my hair was left 3 different colors. I had some friends tell me about this salon and saying it would be the best place for me to go to get my hair dyed with a reasonable price, but it ended up being really expensive for just a hair dye (no bleaching or anything extra) the color lasted a week and a half and is now a completely different color. A member of the staff also took a photo of my my hair, said she was going to send it to me and never did which I thought was strange. As they were working on my hair, they were trash talking a pacific person most of the time I was there. Not a great vibe. read more

The environment was clean, organized and set up with a good eye for interior design. I genuinely thought I was in a shop in Northern VA! I love that they do coloring & carry all colors !!! Bladz and Rayz is my favorite salon here. Maria Cruz is the only person that I will let touch my hair. She is seriously a magician. I went through my "dye your hair red mental breakdown" phase and she saved my hair. I always see people recommending this place. Well back when I tried them out for a blonde balayage they turned my hair bright orange and uneven which they blamed on my hair type. Which is wavy not even curly. Jane did eventually refund me after I took it up with the manager and me and the manager argued for some time over how it didn't look anything like I wanted I was orange with uneven hair and they had a million excuses. I had to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed. So if you've been recommended Jane at this salon fair warning maybe you leave happy or maybe you end up like me because of your hair type or whatever read more

I went here for tanning. They have the best prices in the area if you aren't looking to tan year around. All the other salons make you sign a 6 month contract or you have to pay a ridiculous amount to tan monthly. This salon is only $25 per month unlimited tanning. They have 4 tanning beds for this price. I have never once had to wait for a bed to be open. Also they don't constantly push for you to buy tanning lotions (I hate when places do that). The staff is very polite. The only down side is since this is a local place and not a chain they are closed on Sundays, close at 3pm Saturdays, and earlier than the chain salons during the week. It didn't bother be because I could go during the times they were open. read more

They are the BEST. DONT waste your time or money going somewhere else. They take their time and listen to what you really want. You will walk out looking like a million bucks. They are clean , friendly and professional. The tanning beds are amazing too, Ive been to other tanning places and the beds sucked and had no tan after a month of tanning. Meghan from Bladz & Rayz is fantastic. A few years ago, Meghan convinced me to come in for a cut. At the time, I had been cutting my hair for years, because of a few haircut horrors in the past. I was so glad I took the chance and let Meghan cut my hair. I came out with a sleek, modern hairdo that I loved. Meghan cut and colored my hair for years, up until I moved a few months ago. She always took time to listen to what I wanted done with my hair. She is talented with cut and color. I definitely recommend Meghan or any of the other stylists at Bladz & Rayz! read more
