After taking my car two BMW for a new battery and they recommended 2 services that was roughly $3700 and also told me that although due to changing the battery I needed to get it programmed and that it would cost an additional $550. And advised me that I can pay it and they could do it but it could cause a bigger problem that would cost me $3500 if so. I told them just change the battery and took it straight to Apple Imports. I don't want to butcher the service guy name it's Aaron or Erin. But he's a genius! He knew exactly who I was every time i called, kept me updated on everything that they did, and even figured out the programming that BMW apparently screwed up! And didn't charge me anything additional! His genuine care to get my car fixed was amazing to me! I highly recommend this place to anyone. I haven't had any interaction with anyone else other than Aaron/Erin, but I can say he's awesome! And his customer service is phenomenal! Next, the realization that the air conditioning did not function. The alleged matching spare in back that was not matching at all. The divider between the cab and bed was destroyed and needing replacement to keep the vehicle from being stolen. Then and not even at the end of this nightmare the dash frame was destroyed holding the stereo, Onstar and other components in place. Those repairs to the dash alone are well over $3500. Calling them for answers was interesting. The refusal of both the owner and Adam to even identify themselves as though they are in hiding was curious. The promise from Adam to cover some of the costs seems to have been a lie as well. I'm not as angry as I am very disgusted and disappointed. This was the last truck I would be purchasing. I have cancer, cardiac issues and raising my best friend... my 11 year old son. At this point we can't even register the vehicle. I called them today to let them know they will be the subject of getting some truth out. Sure, the vehicle appeared great cosmetically but that's it. If you want to try to trust someone then these are not the people. Not at all honest and not at all reliable. Drove it home thinking I had bought a brand-new, clean vehicle through the Audi dealer network. Later, when I took the SQ7 to a reputable Bay Area paint protection film / customization shop, they stopped work and showed me that the rear tailgate appeared to have been previously damaged and repainted. The car is metallic black, but the rear tailgate appears to have been painted in a completely different black finish. It does not match the rest of the vehicle. What makes this even more concerning is that the vehicle's MMI/head unit still shows Audi North Austin as the dealer wallpaper, the vehicle came from Audi North Austin before being dealer-swapped to Audi Palo Alto. Audi Palo Alto only kept the car in the showroom till they sold it to me. From what I can see, this vehicle appears to have had prior damage and poor repaint work before I ever purchased it -- and none of that was disclosed to me as the customer. That is unacceptable on any car, but especially on a brand-new luxury Audi. If Audi North Austin had knowledge of this damage, then they should have disclosed it. If they didn't know, then they need to explain how a damaged and mismatched vehicle moved through their store and into the Audi dealer network as "new." Either way, this is not how a premium brand dealership should operate. Now I'm left dealing with the fallout, while everyone points fingers and avoids ownership.
