Nothing against a mobile service, I just knew what I needed and wanted. I live in East Contra Costa, AM/PM was my last call, I spoke with a person on the phone, told them my issue, and sent a pic of my key to his number. A few minutes later, I got a text that they had my key plate in stock. I made a trip over the hill to their Concord stoer on Meadow Lane and they hooked me up. I had 3 copies made, they let met check each key to make sure they worked on my 55, each copy was stellar! I felt like I got good value and service for what I needed and it was worth the drive to get keys made for a 70 year old truck. We had two smart key fobs stolen and urgently needed replacements as well as these key fobs being…read moreerased from our cars' computer. We called the dealership. They said they would happily replace and reprogram our fobs for about $1,800 ( replace and program two and reprogram the two we still had). Oh yeah, they also said that they couldn't remove the stolen fobs from our car' computers. So the bad guys could still get in the cars, but "they wouldn't be able to start them." And, we'd have to wait 2 or 3 days. I contacted Key Guard late Friday night. I got a response immediately. We spoke in the morning and they explained that yes, they could erase the stolen key fobs from our cars' computer, provide replacement fobs, and reprogram the old fob's for $500. And, they could do it that afternoon. They showed up on time, explained what they were going to do and went to work. He even pulled me over to show me when he deleted the stolen fobs. All I can say is Wow and Thank you! Key Guard was professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. And, they saved me at least $1,300!
