I ordered the Marshmallow Mocha Latte, which was around $7, and honestly, I was pretty disappointed. There was no noticeable marshmallow flavor at all. The coffee itself was just... okay. Nothing really stood out to me, especially for the price. The espresso tasted pretty bland, and to me, the beans didn't taste as fresh as I expected. I'm not saying the coffee was terrible, but it definitely wasn't anything special or memorable. The ambience is cute and has a nice vibe, but I also felt like they were lacking in variety when it comes to their menu options. For me, there's definitely some strong competition in the area. I personally frequent Coffee Emporium and Wyoming Coffee Shop, and based on my experience, I prefer both of those over 513. Overall, I'd give 513 Coffee Shop about a 2/5. This was just my personal experience, and I'm always open to trying a place again because sometimes one drink or one visit doesn't tell the whole story. I. Love. This. Place…read more If you are a matcha fan, this is the best matcha in the city. Starbucks is bad, other coffee shops are decent, but Cinsei takes the time to really craft it well. It's made fresh right in front of you, not premade. This has become my weekly Friday treat when I need to escape the office for a little break. Along with the matcha, they also have a decent selection of manga books. As someone who has never read manga before, but loves to read, I ended up picking out one and loving it. It's such a fun thing to talk with the employees about, to hear their recommendations and favorites. The vibe of Cinsei is immaculate. The owners have truly created an environment of a "third space." Everyone who comes in is welcomed and encouraged to enjoy their time. They also are actively partnering with other businesses to host free community events. They kept the line down and kept conversation with the customers so it didn't feel like a wait. Lastly, I love the expansion of the community information at the front counter. It gives the coffee shop a true feeling of "all are welcome here" and support for each other.
