I'll stop into this Homesense store after I've shopped at the Trader Joe's next door. (If you're…read moregoing to brave the parking lot in this shopping plaza, you may as well hit up both stores). I found some cute home decor and seasonal items for the winter holidays and lunar new year. I also like the furniture pieces and lighting that are featured towards the front of the store. We've been browsing around to see what would look like a good purchase for our place. Homesense had nice pieces that you can touch/sit on. So even if we do not end up not buying from there, what they have on the floor was/is a good source of design inspiration.

Not quite nonsense -- and not exactly couture. Somewhere in between for me…read more Homesense is a riff on its "off price" cousins TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.

She's enthusiastic and an amazing artist who is multimulti-talented. We have done jewelry making with her, a variety of sewing, including clothing, upcycling and purses and satchels. Her passion for sewing is contagious and she made learning how to sew as complete beginners totally accessible. Our project during our time at the studio was to create pajama pants. For our first class we took a field trip to Joann's Fabrics where she taught us all about different types of fabrics, sewing supplies and notions we would need. After that we met at the studio each week where she guided us through the process, cheering us on and offering invaluable advice along the way. What truly made our experience with Suzi unforgettable was how much fun we had each week in the studio. Her studio radiates creativity and camaraderie, providing the perfect environment for budding creatives to flourish. We laughed, we learned, and we made memories that we will cherish for years to come. Without hesitation, my family and I wholeheartedly recommend Suzi at Dream Makers Art Studio to anyone looking to embark on their sewing or creative journey. Whether you're a complete novice or a seasoned seamstress, Suzi's passion, expertise, and infectious enthusiasm will inspire you to unleash your creativity. Thank you, Suzi, for an experience we will never forget! xx

I can't speak to their usual hours, but I believe there was an art festival that just began that night, so the shop had extended hours. The owner was so kind, helpful, friendly, fun, warm and informative. Nothing was priced, and I was a little worried I would get a crazy total at the end when I went to check out, but nope! Every single thing was incredibly reasonable. It is one of those shops where you really have to hunt, do a few laps and walkthroughs and take your time. She had clothes, bags, wall art, dishes, jewelry... you name it. I left with a seashell trinket dish, a Stangl speckled plate and a cat jar/candle that I picked up for a friend. She even wrapped that up separately because she heard me say it was a gift. There were several other shops and art galleries in this lot, but not everyone was open when we stopped in. There is a parking lot! But it's not too big so you might have to find a spot elsewhere on a busy day. I can't wait to come back for more treasures.

Everyone was so friendly and nice! There are some beautiful antiques, art and Murano glass. They seem to have a little bit of everything. Hours are a bit confusing, when I went at 3:30 on a weekday only 2 stores were open, everything else was closed so I'm not totally sure when all of the stores are open. I'll try again on the weekend!
