There wasn't even an apology from corporate. Instead, I was met with dismissive comments and implied blame. The store manager, district manager, and corporate leadership failed to take this situation seriously. Endless emails, deflection, and silence made it clear that customer safety and ethics are not a priority here. When I returned the mattress due to how poorly this was handled, I was blindsided again: the adjustable base was suddenly labeled "non-refundable" (never clearly disclosed), and I was charged for "free gift" items at inflated, above-market prices. Unfortunately, less than a year later, all pieces were already pilling and fraying, which is unacceptable for furniture at this price point. The furniture looks like it's a decade old. One recliner's motor stopped working. In July 2025, a technician came out to inspect the chair and said a replacement motor needed to be ordered. When he returned in August, he arrived with the wrong motor and, rather than ordering the correct part, told us he would "make it fit" and forced it into the recliner. That repair failed. My mother reached out again in November, and another service appointment was scheduled, but the technician did not come out until over a month later, in December. At that visit, the technician explained that forcing the incorrect motor had stretched the wiring and caused the wires to pull out. He took photos and advised that if the recliner had not been unplugged, it could have caused a fire. He himself was shocked that another tech would have done this, knowing the risk it posed. On January 8th, my mom received an email stating that the correct motor part was still unavailable. As a result, this recliner has now been broken for months, despite being fully paid for and covered under warranty. We've submitted multiple service requests and emails documenting these issues, and nothing has actually been addressed yet. There were times we had to put in 3 or more requests before even getting a reply at all. For comparison, we own a chair from Bob's that is 10 years old and remains in far better condition than this set. I am extremely disappointed in both the quality of the furniture and the lack of follow-through on warranty service. Given the repeated delays, failed repairs, and documented safety concerns, I am hoping someone from Raymour & Flanigan customer care or management will reach out to review my mom's case and provide a prompt resolution.

I was obviously 8 years younger so not as smart as I am right now. 8 years ago I was in the market for a new bed and bed frame/furniture. I have always bought my couches from raymour and flanigan so I figured it would be a good idea to buy a mattress from them as well. They do have a lot of mattresses for sale so I figured why not. Back then we did not have the tools that we have now for research like AI. So I kind of just bought a mattress that felt comfortable and was expensive. I don't like buying cheap stuff. So I ended up buying a bed frame and a mattress for about $5,000 for all. I will admit that the bed frame and furniture that matches for my bedroom is beautiful. Like I said, Raymore is good for furniture. Onto the mattress. They have a warranty that if you buy one mattress you get 120 days and if you don't like it, you can exchange it for anything of same value or more money. After about a month with the mattress my back was hurting so I wanted to return it. They let me return it and I ended up buying a mattress that was $2,000 more because I thought it would be more comfortable. I was wrong. It was actually more uncomfortable. They would not let me return the second mattress so I was stuck with it. Now I have a $7,000 mattress that I don't like. So whatever we live with it. This was 8 years ago like I said. About 5 years into the mattress I started receiving terrible neck pain. I did not now it was from my bed at the time so I just lived with the neck pain. After about 3 years I figured out that it was my mattress. I called Raymore and said the mattress is giving me neck pain. Does it have a warranty? They said absolutely it has a 10-year warranty. Will come check it for you to see if it has sunk. They sent out a guy he came and measured the bed and sure enough the bed sunk. I called them they said I could return it. I just have to get it cleaned because there was a couple stains on the mattress. I paid $120 and got the mattress cleaned. Meanwhile this took about 6 weeks for the whole process dealing with Raymore, etc. only for them to come back to me and say they will not take the return because there's stains on the mattress and because it was 8 years old it's out of warranty. When I first started calling them they said it was in warranty because it was a 10-year warranty. I had to do with about five or six different people because no the same ever picked up the phone. I ended up going to mattress firm to buy a brand new mattress. It was such a better experience than dealing with raymour. I could go on and on about this subject. All I'm going to say is only go to Raymore to buy couches. Do not buy mattresses from them. End of story.

When I reached out, I was told that my claim was no longer valid because it fell outside the 30-day reporting window--even though they were supposed to follow up with a resolution regarding the console and failed to respond. I was also told that the discoloration on the console was merely "the customer's perception," based on the cleaner's feedback. Overall, this was a frustrating experience.
