Several weeks ago I went to Macy's Furniture store on RTE 4, Paramus, NJ. I didn't find anything in Macy's so as I was walking to my car I saw "Creative Furniture ", which I decided to look around. To my surprise the store had great quality furniture, and there were some really nice prices for various pieces. In addition, the salesperson named Jimmy was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the furniture, and he insisted that I sit on the furniture to get a feel and see the differences in furniture . Jimmy was VERY patient and friendly. In fact, he was so good to my mom and I, we felt like we knew him for a very longtime. He's not a pushy salesperson at all, and he welcomes as many questions as you need him to answer. We ended up buying a table and plan on going back to shop some more! Jimmy is very professional and easy to work with. If you're in the market for furniture, PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop by and ask for Jimmy, and allow him to give you the royal treatment that's hard to come by. read more

DO NOT Shop here. The Delivery Company with a CF bus delivered the bed set from CF and broke our baseboard at our new townhouse. Its been over 4 weeks of back and forth and they will not cover to have that fixed. Then they offered $200 off a rug which i have now declined because that still does not cover the estimated 350 which is what it is costing me to fix this. How can a business work with a delivery company that has no insurance and is not responsible for damage. I am very upset and save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I walked into this place thinking I was going into Macys Furniture (which was next door, upstairs! At first, I thought, WOW, have they improved their furniture selections?! Of course, I found out (nicely though) from their salesman and their owner that this was not Macys! Both were respectful for me to browse before I said a peep. Tom walked me around talking through pieces and I really wasn't ready to commit as this was an accidental meeting, LOL..but I loved their furniture! Instead, he took my email address to do a bit of research on measurements and got back to me promptly. He never made me feel rushed and I returned to him a few weeks later (still not making my mind up on one set vs another due to color choices) because he was so professional. In fact, I could have gone to another branch closer to where I have moved...but Tom was cool. They advertise free delivery on any purchase over a 1000 when, i call they said is only sidewalk delivery this is why I'm giving the 1 star. When have you purchase furniture for sidewalk delivery. If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! This place calls themselves reputable and they are EVERYTHING BUT! They sold us over $10,000 of furniture and are refusing to honor their "1 year warranty" after having gone through now 2 buffet bars in less than 6 months. (They failed to disclose to us that we couldn't put anything inside of the buffet bar because it would fall apart) and on top of that the unprofessional so called manager is Insisting we are the ones who caused the damage when the bar hasn't been moved from its original spot since they delivered it and we only use this room for holidays! Now if we don't pay a fee for them to come "inspect" the furniture for mishandling we wont get a new one. We purchased a couch from creative furniture for our new house. We liked the style and staff were friendly and helpful. Within the year the couch fabric began to pill and couch seemed to start making creaking noises. We called to see what could be done. They said theres nothing they could do for the fabric but they could send someone out to look at the couch but we would have to pay. Other then that there was nothing they would do. Then, under 2 years the springs in the couch began to pop. The couch is uncomfortable. I called and they said sorry there's nothing we could do, except send someone out to look at it and it would cost us for the person to come out but it's outside 1 year so even if they found anything they wouldn't do anything to rectify it. I asked if they only stood by their products for 1 year, and the answer was essentially yes. So a couch I would've expected to last hopefully 10years barely made a year and didn't make it 2. I contacted the corporate headquarters and never heard back. My other Contact was with the store I purchased it at. I would never buy anything from them again. Ever. Buyer be very aware. read more

We purchased an ALF Dining room set from the Paramus location last November.. delivery was in December 2019. We bought what we though was a decent quality piece of furniture from a reputable establishment. The salesman sold this and stressed ALF was GREAT! We bought the dining room table and 3 door buffet. Late summer we put some china into the buffet, just dishes and other small pieces. A few days later we noticed the center buffet door completely dropped. So fast forward to September 2019 we contacted Tom a salesman there who said he never has seen this happen before and felt very strongly that this piece would be replaced. Ok so it took Creative Furniture 7 weeks to get back to us only to tell us we would have to pay for a service call? Really? What happened to the warranty?? As a consumer I feel completely duped. One of my dining chair got stains on the back, and I didn't notice until the delivery left. I contacted Yuri the next day and he responded immediately and helped me go through the claim process. I was going to macys to shop for stuff, and saw Creative and decided to pop in not expecting much..wow was I suprised. The sales man calmly walked up to me and just said "hi, how you? the fact he(Tom simply asked how i was scored a lot of points with me. he was not pushy, which I hate being sold and he didnt do that at all. I showed him pictures of the room and I asked for his help. He was amazing, I felt like he was my own personal decorator. I was not ready to seal the deal and he even said that i should do measurments and think about it. i asked if he could write down the styles and measurments for me , he did one better and emailed me all the styles that I looked at with the sizes. I showed them to my husband that night. A week later we went in the store and we made the purchase. Tom was so amazing to work with, I got my delivary in a week in a half. Tom even called me to make sure everything went well and that I liked it. He was truly the most caring non pushy salesman Id ever met, and oh yeah hes got amazing style. Stay away!!!! Our entire new home has been furnished by the Paramus store. Couches, coffee tables, bed-sets, end tables -even the mattress! We spent thousands at that store. Although the furniture looks elegant and expansive, it is made poorly and complete garbage. Aside from poor quality, the customer support sucks!!!! No respect from the sales department. The wrong sectional was delivered to us, yet we had to pay to have the correct one delivered. Our mattress is sinking in yet the warranty doesn't cover. They have a way to get out of every problem and make it your fault. You will get no support from them. They are an awful company and I hope people read this as a true warning to stay away. read more
