smoothie bowls ($13)
Wendi K.

4.5 Stars A cute small, health-centric spot with fresh smoothies, bowls, and toasts. I used to go to these spots in LA and it reminds me so much of it :) I had the smoothie bowl ($13) with a chocolate banana protein base and a variety of toppings. They were out of cacao nibs, my favorite :( but besides that, It was amazing! They are dog friendly too! They took a while since there was only one staff member working.

A really aesthetically pleasing smoothie and coffee shop on the east side attached to the Arrive hotel. Even the drinks are aesthetically pleasing. It's in such a great location that I find myself there more often than I would like to but it's not just convenient, it's tasty too. I love the smoothie combinations and I am obsessed with the churro smoothie! I recently had their chocolate covered strawberry smoothie they made for v-day and it was very tasty. Service is always pleasant and if you're craving a smoothie this place is a must try!

We stayed at hotel Arrive Austin, where Natuur is also conveniently attached. The sign reads, "Best damn smoothies in Austin" and I ask, "where is the lie???" As someone who makes it a point to find the best smoothies in every city, I think I've found the overall winner. Every single ingredient is high quality, smoothies/bowls/oats made from scratch each morning, and my favorite, local ingredients. Inside is bright, colorful and fun - and options are plenty!!! Each morning during our stay, we ordered the exact order - churro smoothie, overnight oats, vanilla latte. This churro smoothie was so much of winner, I didn't even get the opportunity to give any other smoothies a try bc this one was just too delicious to be true. Although, I know the others were just as amazing and crafted with just as much love. Also, don't sleep on the overnight oats!!! WOW. I absolutely love all of the gluten free options; the very first morning, I tried the avocado toast w smoked salmon all on gf toast. A first for me as gf bread is almost never an option for the toasts. Truly so sad to leave this gem behind! I am happy to learn there are Denver locations so I'll be sure to visit when in town there too!

I haven't actually been to this establishment yet, but I ordered an açaí bowl on UberEats and it was the best damn bowl I've ever eaten!!! It is safe to say Natuur is about to have me in a chokehold because these bowls are worth every penny! Updating to post that I enjoyed my first bowl so much, I actually went the store for another one two days later, lol. So good and beautiful space!

Love a good smoothie shop! I came for their opening with 75cent smoothies. The shop is small, but they have a decent amount of chairs and comfy couches to sit in. The smoothies are fantastic, no added sugar and real fruit! My favorite was the blueberry with peanut butter. They have a wide variety of flavors. I can't wait to try more!

I came in for the $.75 smoothie event and it was an all around good time. Their overall taste was really good, from what vendors they partnered with to the live DJ they had. Even with a large line, they worked efficiently and every worker was exceptionally upbeat and welcoming. My smoothie was really good, and the idea of a coconut cream cloud component was exciting to me - especially due to its dairy-free aspect. My main question before going back though is if the size I got was really the normal smoothie size, or if it was a promotional size for the $.75 special. If the size I got was really $10 it might actually be a harder sell. Otherwise, it's definitely a good project and pleasantly set up place.

So glad there is smoothie bar down the road from my spin class. It will be a welcome treat on weekends. Located in the first floor of the Arrive hotel. Enter on Chicon street. So no need to go through the hotel. I got the one of their bowls with an açaí base. You get 3 fruits, 2 dry ingredients, and 1 drizzle. Granola is already included! I got hemp seeds and cacao nibs and tried the cococloud drizzle which was describe as a vegan whip cream. Service is great btw. I really liked how the bowl was naturally sweetened and the portion was pretty large compared to other shops in town. Lots of açaí and fruit. The only negative is they use a plastic container if they could go with something more compostable it would be awesome. They also have smoothies and coffee bar if you want other options. There is plenty of seating with a couch area in the middle. If you're in the area and want a smoothie or bowl for breakfast this is your stop.

WOW we had the best smoothies ever at Natuur. The Lemonberry is $10 and worth every cent, I havent stopped thinking about it since. Great spot on 6th!

The place is clean and the staff was great. Love the vibes at thos restaurant. I got the breakfast chalupa and my partner got the breakfast café. Both were delicious meals. I would definitely go back again. They have two restrooms which were unisex. They do have a bar ad well. Recommend this place.

Unfortunately, the kitchen just wasn't on their game this day. We went for brunch and it is a lovely restaurant with some amazing looking pastries. My ratings of the food we got are below. Overall, everything was just okay and not something I would order again. Our order: Salami and cheese - 1/10, not even edible with how much olive oil they dumped on it. Hard cheese and meat. None of us touched it. Frites - 9/10, hard to go wrong here. Nice and crispy French cruller - 7/10, I think this is just personal presence here I wished it was warmed up. Flavor was good but it was a little dry. Burger - 5/10, the flavor is there and definitely has potential but it was so bloody and rare which is not what we asked for. My friend has a gluten allergy and she asked for the burger lettuce wrapped and it just came on top of a huge chunk of iceberg so wouldn't recommend that if you want it lettuce wrapped. Chicken sandwich - 8/10, this was good with a nice crispy chicken. It could have used something sweet to balance the spice though it was a little one dimensional.

Upon entry was greeted by Melissa and sat in her section. The decor is very diner type with low, cozy booths and few tables and chairs. Not too big of a space and not sure if there is more seating elsewhere. Anyhoo, coffee was good and I got the Royal toast and a single pancake with eggs, and sausage. Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. Really wanted to try a slice of pie ( TX Pie Co) but seems a bit outta line with what I already ordered. Maybe next time.

I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

The Lox n' found croiffin comes with a toasted croissant roll, smoked salmon, ricotta, avocado, arugula, capers, pickled onions and dill. I added an egg for an additional charge of $2. It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers. The menu says it also comes with a side of roasted potatoes, but mine didn't come with that. The sandwich was delicious and filling, so I definitely didn't need them, but I do feel like I didn't get what I paid for.
