This time I got their fiesta bowl and I enjoyed it. Solid flavor without feeling bogged down. Also, big props to a place that combines quinoa with rice as a base and not just one or the other. They are nutrition conscious with what they serve. I also got a mocha latte protein smoothie - super yummy. For the price in the area, you can't beat it.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful when explaining their menu. I opted to go for the get well exoskeleton which offered a 1/2 sammy, 1/2 soup or salad (located right by the register), a fountain drink or optional uncharged to a smoothie, finished with a cookie or acaí with a topping of your choice. The food portions were generous and flavors were very delicious. I ordered a baja turkey jack, nutty broccoli salad, mango mama smoothie, & acaí with pineapple. It was easy to customize the items and the flavors were extremely good. I loved that the smoothie had no sugar additives. I will be coming back in the future for more!

You have your option of ordering with a person or at a kiosk. We ordered with a person because we needed to take some stuff off our sandwiches and the kiosk wouldn't allow it. The cashier was really nice but incredibly slow. We ordered a Medianoche, Bistro Wrap, and a Sausage & Cheese Sandwich. We waited like 20 minutes before getting served. The bistro wrap was good but it was missing sausage and bacon so that was a disappointment, my husband didn't want to wait for them to remake it so he just ate it. My son ate the sausage and cheese sandwich and he was content. When my medianoche came it had ham in it. The receipt showed that we requested no ham so I ask if they can replace it and they did. When they replaced it my sandwich barely had any cheese or mayoketchup, the sandwich was incredibly dry. Needless to say we were disappointed with this meal and will probably stick to the goldenrod or lake underhill locations.

The service was on point and very friendly. Our only complaint was the tables were super dirty. I mean all of them. We like booths so we went straight to them and all had food all over. At opening? Every booth filthy? I mentioned it to the guy coming around to wipe them and didn't seem too concerned. Even after he wiped the tabletops he was not touching the seating with old food clearly left there. Not impressed the cleanliness of the dining area. Honestly disgusting. It's a shame because the food and service were 5 stars. Dining area at opening? 0 stars. Level of concern from employee was zero. Perhaps we'll be back for take out or something but old food all over the tables at opening is not acceptable. Only deducting 2 stars because food and service was on point despite the dirty dining area.

I originally ordered sausage, egg, and cheese, but then I saw the bacon, egg, and cheese and asked whether I could switch it. The gentleman behind the counter said they could do both, then asked whether I wanted to add a hash brown too. Obviously, I said yes. He told me they would make basically anything I wanted as long as they had the ingredients, and I absolutely loved that energy. The sandwich was huge, super cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with sausage, bacon, egg, and a crispy hash brown. It was a very generous portion and completely worth the price. This is definitely going into my breakfast-sandwich rotation. My fiancé ordered the Godfather, which was also delicious. It is definitely on the messier side, though, so if you are getting it to go or traveling any distance, I would recommend asking for the vinaigrette on the side. Ray's has strong neighborhood bodega vibes, generous portions, and the kind of menu where they are willing to customize your order instead of making things complicated. My only minor critique is that one employee could have been a little friendlier, but everyone else made the experience enjoyable. Another great visit, and we will absolutely be back.
